Well hello there!
I just don't understand why all the belivers in Peta that are saying that the price is way to low aren't buying like crazy? They would make the deal of their life at this price according to their sayings. Hmmm... something it's not right with them I guess.
I for one am broke or probably would be picking up a couple of shares at the current price.  I personally think that Puppet raises some really good points and obviously alot of his predictions have indeed panned out.  I'm currently running at a loss with Peta as well but I don't blame anybody for this.  I think Puppets intentions might in fact be noble believe it or not.  Regardless, I really think cryptx needs to either substantially lower hosting/admin fee's and/or get a couple of actual chip geek's on the payroll developing his own chip if this project is really going to flourish for anybody but cryptx himself.

Because they do not believe in it as much as they would want you to believe, they are just trying to pump it, so they can offload their shares with profit.

Friday.  Wink

We will all know more on the next move the cryptx team has. I believe there are more variables to the PETA mine outcome.

Nope, AM has produced 60 PH of chips in their previous batchs and is currently selling them.
And that is just one manufacturer. The network is going to grow at an insane rate for the next couple of months.
From now on, the network growth is not sustainable for average player like cryptx.
And trust me, I was a truly believer of this project but I did not expect such a flood of ASIC chips.

... What the PETA mine team has done here every mining bond has developed a means for anyone to easily get in and get out, as seen fit. There is no mining investment in which someone can just have forever, like any investment you need to plan your goal for capital gain, remove your capital and then restructure your plan. Anyone mining for bitcoin on there own at home would find this almost impossible.
FTFY
The PETA mine team did little more than rinse and repeat.  But hey, why mess with a recipe that cooks up so well?

I know some are pissed off at Puppet coming in here, but it helped me make decision to get out while there was still profit on the table.

The drop in share price would have happened without Puppet coming into this thread, it was inevitable.

If I could go back two years and plonk my btc into a wallet and left there id be way richer in btc land now. I have lost 30% of my btc on stocks/bonds/you name it.  Id advise folks who are newish to the game to just do that and wait 6 months. If you want some risk and danger, setup a personal gamble with someone on the gambling forum based stockpicks for the same 6 months. If your not looking for roi go buy something for btc and support the technology(we are the early adopter geeks right?)

Last but not least, next time a stock ipo's ask yourself if the co has this amazing idea to make lots of money why do they share this with public and not keep to themselves (+ angel investors)

Thats great that your happy with a loss thanks to puppet, and that your a man about it. But thats obviously the risk when it comes to mining bitcoin. The market on mining is a very fast paced one. What the PETA mine team has done here has developed a means for anyone to easily get in and get out, as seen fit. ... I have a very impressive ROI pinhead, (not that it's any of your business) both in PETA and outside of it. You don't know me, nor what I do for a living. Don't talk to me about money you small brained simpleton...

Thanks bro.

Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.
If I could have shorted assets like peta and all the previous mining securties, ponzi's and scams, yes Id be a multi bazillionnaire by now. But I cant. Nor does grade school math give any clues as to where bitcoin itself is headed, so I'll have to settle for the ~20000% ROI on my coins so far. Doesnt cost me any time, any effort, and so I have plenty of time to give a little back to the community and prevent at least some people from getting raped blind. Up to you if you want to take advantage of it.

Puppet, your a smart guy, I get that. But the motive you state yourself with makes little sense. If you got a 20000% ROI on your coins, shouldn't you be living a happy ever after on some sort of Florida Keys beach, (or what ever suits your fancy) as well as built up some "hardened investments" outside of your coins to to bring profit for years to come. This Bitcoin Jesus complex your running on this forum for the betterment of others makes little sense. Not to mention there are better forms of charity giving then to bitcoin investors. To me you appear to be running a facade.

To all those who remain on this forum.... don't. Do what cryptx has done and remove yourself from it, there are those with motive who wish you bend investments for their better gain. It's a shame that people can be so easily inclined to 'panic sell'. This holds true in many investments and big time wolfs take advantage of people like that. But that is the way of the stock market or in any investments holding shares, someone always has a price higher or lower than another, thats how profit is gained after all. Making panic sells is a profiting gain for many big investors looking to take advantage.

Came back - share price has halved!

Can someone explain in just a couple of sentences what in the world has happened??  Huh

Puppet happened. With the new IPO came the Puppet prospectus. Some sold out, then everyone went "baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and followed suit.

You know what happens to intrepid little lambs who don't follow the heard, right?  Or did some kindly wolf tell you ur a lion?

@Aireun:  Stop blowing all your coin on ridiculous investings, and you too will soon have plenty of free time to devote to charity.

Tell me something puppet, what is your motive? If your so intelligent why do you spend countless time in this thread on the Peta Mine project. Shouldn't you be running numbers on investments outside of PETA and making your millions. Clearly you have deemed PETA 'a bad investment', so please enlighten me on your motive, I really do not understand what drive you to remain here.

One more thing, particularly for newbies who intend to hold peta long term. This here is why I am not surprised by the current situation:

source and discussion:

You can add 50% to those numbers because of the BTC price rise since I made that post, and <$1000/TH hardware has already been announced. Therefore, a 600+ PH bitcoin network is already a given, its just a matter of how fast we can get there. Im also quite confident the cost will drop far below that.

Now see how much peta mine would earn in that network. Hint: its a huge negative number.

What is your target buy in price fonsie/Puppet? Is it low enough now for you?

Its not even close to low enough. Ive posted my most optimistic simulations that so far have vastly understated the network growth,  so you can easily conclude from that at what point I might begin to consider buying in. At least if it werent for the fact i made another prediction that will prevent me from buying in at any price.

For those not paying attention, I did my math based on 1%/day network growth with rapid deceleration. Reality is this;

1.5-2% per day and accelerating. For the math impaired, 1.5%^365=~23000%.

That may not last very long, but in the coming  ~8 weeks, peta will pay out more in dividends then it will for the rest of its existence, meager as those divs may be. As always with mining, the first few months are make or break, and in the case of peta its clearly "break".

Spot the trend:

You guys are even more predictable than peta's share price. First you ridicule me, but when only a few weeks later some of my predictions (all of which glaringly obvious) begin to pan out, and as a logical consequence the share begins to  tank (we are nowhere near the bottom yet), you blame me for it. Exactly as predicted BTW.
