Indeed and that happens when the course we took up is not really the one that we are interested , sometimes it is our parents frustrations that's why they want us to take that study or sometimes we are not really aware what we wanted to be in future.

But parents can not force what they want on their kids because they have their own will. Maybe before parents decide where they should study, parents can discuss with their kids so there will be no problem between parents and kids. We see many kids are running from their studies because their parents force them to always follow what they want without asking what their kids want.

It is true that higher education does not guarantee us to be successful people. Even in my country, there are many people with higher education
who are still unemployed and have difficulty finding work. There are other factors that are very important in life so that we become successful people,
so higher education is not enough for us to become successful people. It takes big dreams and real action from ourselves to realize our dreams to
become successful people, higher education is only one of the supporting factors. So like you said, most of the popular people in the world do not
finish their higher education, but they can become rich and successful people. Because they are persistent to achieve their dreams.

Depends on the kind of book. I believe the more wrong books a person reads and believe, the more ignorant/enslaved/entangled/ the person becomes. The only way to become free is to read good books and believe them.
People who are transformed by goods books can do really well in businesses and in life generally.

The most important thing in education is to cultivate a person's critical thinking. This is more important than the professional knowledge learned (how many things in class can most people use after graduation). Ignorance is really terrible. A few years ago I met a few classmates studying at Imperial College. It was the first time I saw young people reading so many different books. Politics, philosophy, literature, etc. The Wulun Academy they organized invites students in London to discuss various meaningful things at regular intervals. At that time, I was thinking that this is the education that everyone should receive.

I've met a lot of people that were skilled but very unfortunate that they haven't pursued higher education or college but that didn't stopped them for being one of the best and skilled people in the world.

Lol sooner it is not the degree that will bring you work but your skill and ability , i have known many people that did not finished their college degree but since they are good in technology they are now having good Business in internet world.

Remember that we are getting closer and closer in computer operated world and people can manage learning thru internet and not from Schools.

In my opinion, if certain companies truly require qualifications from typical established schools rather than basing qualification on merit, then the companies wont really do well without relying on qualified people outside the companies to solve their problems, or they will probably cheat/steal ideas from others.
The typical established schools are not very good at training people to use their natural gifts or talents properly. You could easily build a workshop to train people to make things like bread, but typical schools will spend years teaching them and the school students would end up going to workshop to learn to make bread.

I have been thinking about switching my job for a while now. The pay is not that great it's just because of the corona pandemic that I didn't really go ahead with it. Nonetheless I am studying the job market for a few weeks now. And what I realised the most is that almost all job offers require a university degree these days.
