This is my first deposit to hitbtc and right away I'm stuck! Which sucks big time. I never had this issue on other exchanges (bitstamp, bitfinex, bittrex, poloniex etc). I deposited 11500 XRP from bitstamp to the ripple deposit address on hitbtc about 6 hours ago and up till now it has not been credited. This is waaay longer than expected. I also deposited 0.02 ETH from myetherwallet to the hitbtc wallet to try that one out, without success either.
Please credit my XRP funds so I can at least start trading.

I just received my ripple deposit after 20 hours. Thanks!
Ether credited after 2 hours of waiting.
Very slow, but at least no scam Wink

I hear that HitBTC are to be listing SmartCash https://smartcash.cc/ , any news on this ?
I'd like to be able trade all my coin on a single exchange rather than have to login to two or more exchanges to trade.

Where are the B2X token coming from? Can only buy them!!!

I think this is just like "futures trading", the coin does not exist and you are speculating that when it is released the price will go up.
The thing I don't understand is where do all the Bitcoins go that being used to buy these futures (there are other coins that do this), does HitBTC effectively get a free loan of your money ?

Nobody understand that, it's never been made clear.

If it's HitBTC own internal supply of BTC then they should at least said how many that was.

IOU are not futures, You're supposed to be able to take the opposite side of the future for price discovery.

I sent some XEMs to this exchange 54 days ago, and to date nothing has been credited. I write to their support center DAILY, but the situation does not improve; 90% of the time my tokens are deleted or ignored.
As far as withdrawals are concerned, things are not going better. There's no way to withdraw coins from there, because their confirmation email ALWAYS arrive too late, and their security system blocks the withdrawal process. I tried a dozen times and then I gave up ...

Re-quoting myself ....

54 days passed, no XEMs credited and no reply from support center.

What the hell is going on ?? !!

I've noticed a strange thing with fees that HitBTC charges if you want to buy coins for super low price.
Just try to place an order for example TNT/BTC.

Amount:  100000 TNT
Price: 0.000001 BTC

Total: 0.100000000
Fee 0.1%฿: 0.10000000

Total is 0.1 and Fee is 0.1, that makes commission 100%.

Does anyone know why?

I've had this issue as well.  I saw the explanation from HitBTC in this thread, but it didn't make any sense because the fee is taken right when you set your limit order, not when the orders are executed.  Is the fee refunded upon execution?  I haven't noticed that in my records.

Some exchanges charge you less for limit orders because it helps the liquidity of the market, but it seems like HitBTC charges far more for these type of orders.  Am I missing something?

The fee isn't exactly taken from your account as you're placing an order. That amount is being locked.
Once your order is filled or cancelled, the leftovers are released back on your account.

When I tried to do a trade for 1000 DLT the total was 0.02 BTC and the fee was 0.001 BTC.  When I made the limit order this amount was actually taken from my BTC total.

This is compared to if you do a market order where it seems like it's actually 0.01% of the BTC amount.

I find this very strange because the 0.1% on limit orders is being somehow calculated from the amount of tokens you are buying instead of the BTC, so for very cheap tokens the % becomes very high.

Some exchanges charge you less for limit orders because it helps the liquidity of the market, but it seems like HitBTC charges far more for these type of orders.  Am I missing something?

Usually I wouldn't bump a thread but in this case I think I am obliged as I have not received a single response from HitBTC in the 37 days from the date my initial issue was raised. What gives HitBTC? Do you just not care about your users?

Please forgive us for keeping you in the dark for such a long time. Won't happen again! Our engineers are investigating this issue, their reply will reach your inbox very soon.

Remember when HitBTC said I'd get a response soon, that was a good joke, they totally got me, because It has now been 50 days and I've still got no response.

I think this is the slowest customer service I have ever experienced in my life.

Dear friend, that experience is about to change. Our reply is on the way.

comes code, can not go to the exchange. What's the matter?

Hi there! If the problem still stands, could you kindly clarify which exactly code you've mentioned? What exactly is going on?

Why should we wait 30 minute to deposit tokens Huh

It shouldn't be like that, but as we know, it isn't. Is it OK now?

We have maintenance, will update it soon.

Didn't think they've meant 20 HOURS!@!?!?!!?!?

Don't use this exchange for trading, they will just halt everything without a clear mention/information. Terrible

We totally understand how that might have seemed. Extremely sorry about that. We have put on the announcement in your "Account" section, the support team had been replying instantly, and our community in the Trollbox chat had been provided with the fresh info about maintenance process. And of course, our developers were doing their best to implement the updates as soon as possible. They have completed this goal. Please forgive us for any inconvenience caused, it never had happened before and it never will.

This piece of shit didn't process my withdrawal, waiting for 2 days already. Support refused to reply. SCAM.

Hi there! We are extremely sorry to hear that. Chances are that your withdrawal had proceeded successfully, but just in case - had it? Is everything fine?

I have a little balance stuck in the wallet. I have sent a ticket regarding the issue, but no response. I have to admit that i actually gave up and lost my hopes. I wish you all good luck because you all will need it. I will never EVER use hitbtc again.

It's heartbreaking to hear that. We would be so happy if you could provide us with your ticket ID, so we would check it and make sure that your issue is about to be resolved. And it will be resolved.

By many exchanges i dont know which time frame they are, so i can compare with the placed orders. Never see a little clock how late it is on the exchange it self. Maybee an idee to put a little clock somewhere.  Embarrassed

Hi there! HitBTC uses UTC time. Check out the "My Orders and Trades" section in the exchange window.

id experience to use this exchanges last 3 days and my process works so smooth and no issue, why those other clients of this hitbtc had more complain? is it true that the other transactions on that site are stuck and no more response from the support team? is it safe to use again this exchanges or maybe i will switch to bittrex for more better service? im afraid to get stuck too.

Hi there! How's it going by now? Smiley
We believe you have found out that transactions operate just fine on every currency, and if there's an issue, you won't be left alone with it.
It's important to know this: every issue receives attention from our support team, every request is resolved (you could see it even in this exact reply). Our goal now is to minimise the time delay. We are striving towards it, and it's getting better.

Question about the HitBTC affiliate scheme. It some places it says there's a 50% revenue share, in other places, it's described as a 50% fee rebate. Which is it? If it's a 50% fee rebate then it depends heavily on whether the trader is mainly a maker or taker, if it's a 50% revenue share, then I'd assume they pay 50% of the transaction revenue, which would be 0.045%.

Hi there! Thank you for your interest in HitBTC. Once you've started participating in HitBTC affiliate scheme, you're receiving up to 75% of trading fees which your affiliates are paying. Speaking briefly: you make money on takers.
