One of the shittiest exchanges in existence irrespective of the fact that isn't has lasted over 6 years, my account keeps getting logged into even after I have activated 2FA and changed my password several times, thankfully I didn't keep any funds in the exchange at the time, once had an issue with withdrawals and up till today, it has not bee resolved.

I think you summed up very appropriately

Dear Drai, it's close to impossible to log in once you've activated the 2FA. If that's really the case, we encourage you to contact the support team as quickly as possible. You can contact them regarding the withdrawal issues as well. You can do so right here: https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

They keep delisting good coins and then charge a huge amount of the coins to withdraw the ones you have left.  That is theft, pure and simple.

They've delisted Bytecoin, AMP, Noah (41 Million market cap), etc.

There may be many reasons for such a turn of events. You can contact our support team for more information on any asset in particular to get relevant information.

Not long to go before they completely implement their exit strategy and scam all users before running off.

The question is why have they not done it already and what are they waiting for?

Thanks.

One of the shittiest exchange in crypto but I wonder why they also remained high in volume. I am stunned that they still have a person in charge in btalk. But I can find problems in this thread and in other created threads that were not resolved until now.
Been wondering over this topic for quite some time now. If these exchanges are shitty and people are already taking out their money from them, why is their volume is still high? The only answer that I could come up is that these numbers are most probably made up. I mean, there's no way people still trade in these exchanges up until this moment, right? It will not surprise me if their "true" volume on the day to day basis is so low that they are not getting any profit from it anymore.  Roll Eyes

I am not surprised they never acted upon the 2FA concerns because they are really a bunch of low-lifes that for some reason have still not implemented their exit strategy even though they have selective scammed on a mass scale.

I was about to reply to your post about the troll but sadly it was removed along with the original post from the troll  Sad

Thank you for the kind words, I am going to carry on trying to bust scams here and there time permitting. Like you said I must be doing something right to rattle them Smiley

I couldn't search up if it has been asked already, but what happens when I cancel my limit order. Do I still need to pay the taker's fee (which is 0.1%), I have selected Post-only, so no maker's fee there.
I had earlier placed an order, but due to current market conditions I want to update my price for the same.

No, you never pay any fee upon cancellation of your made order.

I so much detest this exchange,  their customer service is nothing to write home about,  I misplaced my cellphone around May this year and I discovered that my account details with Hibtc has been compromised,  they didn't respond on time,  I just had to forget about having an account with them,

Dear user,  what was your support ticket number? We'll gladly look into that.

We take the security of our customers very seriously and provide a number of security tools to help you protect your account, such as 2FA, email confirmation, etc.  Here's an article to help you minimize such risks in the future: https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005044629-How-to-protect-your-account-from-intruders

Pathetic scammers. You keep posting here once in a while asking for support tickets but ignore users posting concerns here.

How many complaints have been made here? How many have you actually addressed? How many times have you popped back in here to post repetitive nonsense about support tickets?

People are waiting for HitBTC to pull their exit strategy because complaints are piling up.

I already did this on Twitter and you replied that the problem has been resolved, but this is not true.

Dear Rabbot, the withdrawal functionality of your account is fully operational, and you should be able to withdraw any amount of funds that exceed the withdrawal fee.
There is no way to withdraw funds, because the size withdrawal fee exceeds the size of the deposit, and trading is blocked. Can you specify for what reason?

Wasn’t believing this until they locked my account for the third time last week leaving my funds being locked. And that time no new reply to any support tickets whoever they are assigned to ! They locked 200Zcash worthing over $25,000 at that time without the ability to sell and of course, now they worth far much less (and which I still can’t withdraw).

The KYC process shouldn't take much time on a regular basis, ytrezq. Can you please provide us with your ticket number?  Thanks in advance.

I guess Hitbtc's business model is to charge 10x times higher withdrawal fees.
Still cheaper than Transferwise on large amounts though.
Who in the right mind to use it though when there are exchanges that charge lower withdrawal fees available.
Hitbtc will be still a trap where you can't withdraw your money, still waiting for my $20 withdraw lol
In my case, I couldn’t chose : bought tokens on a bankrupt exchange. Had to sell them on Hitʙᴛᴄ as they were no purchase orders on Etherdelta.
