Good evening. I would say that there is huge variety of different solutions coming onto the market, so I am here with the strategy I personally use. From my point of view, mine is pretty rational and can help to find the most advanced solutions

Interesting question to discuss. I agree that there are many aspects that matter. And I am not only talking about the idea as the idea, but much more about complex approach. So curious to hear your views and example, if you are aware of any advanced solution

Price of cryptocurrencies were dropped 30 -40% from this year's peak so this is not bad time to buy some crypto currencies. But you have to wait for the prices to recover and reach new high prices so invest only the excessive money you have got and wait for the peak prices to arrive to make real profits.

No time will ever be the best time only buy when the market is moving up and do not forget to sell while the market is still up stya safe.
That's the wrong move, buddy.. you buy when the market is moving down and you sell when the market is moving up. Otherwise, chances are you'll sell when it's too late. Cheesy

To answer OP, I'm personally holding all I have and trying my best to accumulate more. I'm just out of cash completely so I have no more money to buy through the bearish markets.
I understand you very much friend. Because it’s for the third time that I’m losing a lot of money on trade. And I think that we need to continue to accumulate knowledge and understanding of this market.

Which altcoins are you hodling?

I didn't sell any altcoins that I'm holding lately (i probably should), however, is it a smart idea to buy them now or wait a bit more?

What are you holding? and what will you do?

Only you knows the reason why you didn't sell and should be respected, however I do not think you should buy anymore for now rather hold on to the ones you have and watch them grow. The idea is always to invest what you can afford so that you can have peace. The market might not really be favourable for now but it will soon. As for me, am holding ETH and am not selling it because it is one of the best altcoins and thus have a good chance of recovery than others. Even if am to buy now, I would go for more BTC and not altcoins.

I am currently holding ETH, BCH, XRP, and BNB. We are also facing a bear market, that is why most cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is having a low price and the best solution for it is not selling them, instead we should have patience and start holding are altcoins until all of their price have recover.

I currently hold NRG, KMD, ETH, XMR and MMOcoin. Selling your holding now is not a wise decision if emergency situations do not occur and some altcoin is a good idea but i will personally prefer to accumulate more bitcoins instead of altcoin which market is highly manipulated.

If you want to look for a lot of profit and bet, altcoin is better because these days there are many altcoins that have experienced surges such as steem, which managed to reach 120% increase yesterday, and it looks like some alt followed it but it's risk I think because the alt increase indicator is very difficult to guess, but today I see this bitcoin has experienced a pretty good recovery that is up to 20% and it seems like looking for safe giving some bitcoin seems good.

With the sudden price surge and the good news flying around about the discoverd cure to the pandemic coronavirus, I'd say we ain't far from a bit stable market even though we might not be in for a bullish run yet.....  The best option is to hodl your assets and if you have few cash to spare, i'd suggest you buy more as whenever we see a bit of a bullish run, virtually every tangible coins/tokens you purchase now will yeild a good ROI later

at this time the only ethereum. I think, if it's not bitcoin, then ethereum is a very good choice. however, many people choose USDT nowadays. however, seeing prices back as low as $ 6k, I think people are looking for assets that are likely to rise. however, if you are looking for altcoin, ethereum is always the first choice.

Actually its usually 2 ways in the crypto currency sphere, meaning its either you hodl altcoins or you sell for bitcoin or tether or fiat.
I do not support the request for suggestions regarding altcoins to hodl, because in crypto currency, you need to be responsible for every investment action that you take.

Hence, i implore you to dyor, decide if you wil or hodl or sell, and also remember that different tokens have different sell on/cash out point.

FIAT, waiting for the opportunity to exchange it for crypto.

I didn't sell any altcoins that I'm holding lately (i probably should), however, is it a smart idea to buy them now or wait a bit more?
Okay, seriously, I sold 99% of my altcoins like six months ago. Not much though, since it was from bounties. My reason is simple. I've seen enough evidence that many altcoins are worthless. ETH failed, EOS failed, what else? TRON? F*ckin hell.

But the price may be irrational, so there will be "pumping" opportunities. I don't see we are at the bottom yet. *Not financial advice, DYOR & DWYOR

I have Ethereum and I am still holding it until Ethereum 2.0 is implemented.
Just want to try that staking process that will happen and I am still buying more just so I could see how much I could make with all the amount I have stacked by now.
It is a game changer for those who haven't tried any staking process and for me it will be my first time.

Holding altcoins seems like a bad decision right now, we are seeing a recovery in the market right now but when the market is in such a state of panic I will not be surprised that as more bad news come from Europe and the US regarding the virus then we could see another important drop in the markets, if you have the stomach to endure it this may be the time to buy some altcoins for cheap but only do this if you do not really need the money now or for the next year and if you are planing on buying coins like ETH.

Actually you should grab the opportunity while the price of other coins is cheaper than before. Try to invest on altcoins right now since there is a higher chance that its value will comeback when the corona virus vanish. Hold your altcoin until the price of it becomes promising to sell. Patience is always the key in holding a coin so you better be patient and wait until the price of it comes back.

Your decision if whether to hold your altcoins or not depends in how you believe in the potential of your altcoin. With the current market status where everything is crashing, it is a good opportunity to buy more altcoins but, that depends on which altcoin to buy. There are many altcoins out there that seems to have good potential in the future, but many don't have. So you better to have research more of these coins and as well as to the alts you're holding.

I'm holding ETH and XMR.

I didn't sell any altcoins that I'm holding lately (i probably should), however, is it a smart idea to buy them now or wait a bit more?
It's always ideal to buy altcoins when the prices  are low from your previous price entry. So if you are already holding a bag with higher price entry, I would advise you to some now.

What are you holding? and what will you do?
As I have already mentioned, I'm holding ETH and XMR. But sadly I don't have any spare money left to buy some cheap altcoins. However, I managed to buy small amount of BTCGrin
