Holding ones coins is much better than dumping and regret.... Holding for as long as it takes avails one the opportunity to make up for the failed project or shitcoin invested in

The market sure is waking up if you're in btc. For alts is a bloodbath though. Reminds me of the autumn of last year. The alts were getting heavily rekt while the btc dominance rose skigh high. And after that.. Boom! Alt season commenced and everyone became rich as ****. Let's see how it plays out this time.

The time I am new to this forum I experience selling some of my holdings in a low price because I panic and worried about the down trend of my holding tokens. But I learn my lesson now, I choose to hold my tokens than to sell low.

Holding is the most reliable way to save your money and to get profit from this move. I like holding and I am planning to continue to use this strategy.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
Never long regret the loss of profits! there are a lot of such situations in the life of every investor and if you worry about every case you can go crazy.

If you decide not to hold, there is every tendency for regrets to come in because the market has not fully recovered yet. Once anyone decides to sell off and the market starts returning green with speed, regrets will be the end of the story.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it is really a great lesson for us, especially the newbies, and those who usually have doubts or impatience regarding the coins they have invested in. People need to learn that hodling requires patience and that they shouldn't expect to see their coins grow overnight. Give your coins time to grow and give you good earnings, especially if you trust in them.

I can agree to a point. In hindsight the fall of 2017 was a bubble and anyone who had been here for a while could see that. I think anyone who hodl through that probably regretted it because they could have tripled or more their stack by now. Having said that... I'm hodl'n cause I got in at that time and believe it is just a matter a time before we return to those levels and go beyond it.

Well I expect the people who sold when you made this post are feeling fairly happy with themselves lol

of course, you will really feel happy especially if your investment values are growing up. Nothing beats seeing your open sale at profit is already filled up.

Now the situation in the cryptocurrency market is generally negative and the prices for tokens are constantly declining, but if you read the posts that were written six or more months ago, you can see that many tokens have a huge potential and over time the price for them can grow many times.

yea, I agree. The prices seems follow a natural course of going up and down and once it goes up, it always comes down. So better try already position your buy at the altcoins lowest down and automatically open a sale with good profit because it will really goes back up again.

dont be disappointed, no one really knows that it will happen to the price of XVG, its just that you dont become patient, at least you have learned from your mistakes before. move on, and correct your mistakes the next time you buy new altcoin.

I think both. You should have be studying the project first, if it is for lifetime long then hold, if it is not then sell.

Allways play with your investments, make rational decisions, HODL long term coins and play with like 30% of your stack, but the most important of all is to never forget to sometimes take your profits, we allways tend to have more and more thats called greedy, eventually nothing is going up the whole time which makes us loose more than we could actually profit, I have learned to allways take profits and leave a small amount to make more profits.

Always play with your investments? I assume you talk about daytrading a portion of your. investments, right? I would rather think this is a very risky tactic, especially given the bear market and the surprising market movements we have seen in the last half a year...

Yes its better to hold than to regret that you sell tokens then tomorrow or next you will know that the price go spike, well you cant actually predict when to sell because too much hold will also do harm but selling in fair amount of profit is already good so there is nothing to regret

you can keep it, I just lost enough money. because I decided to sell some of the coins I had. and right now I can only regret it, I should have arrested him. as much as possible you should hold the coin at the time the market is red like this.

No need to regret what has happened. Actually what you are doing at the time is trading, and I think you should be grateful for the results because you get a profit, another case if you intend for long-term investment from the beginning and of course has its own risks. I suggest you divide your trading portion and long term investment, for your financially better.
