NXT is rising. 1 month to go to the very expected snapshot.

Snapshot confirmed 12/25...and Next raising!!

I am waiting eagerly for Bittrex and Polo statements about IGNIS/ARDOR snapshot.

First, we haven't received any confirmation, that doesn't mean it won't happen it  just means that exchanges haven't said anything.

Second, the original Ardor snapshot was received in their NXT wallets, this is different from assets being created on an entirely different block chain. It isn't the same, but it also shouldn't be that hard, just different.

Do we really have to save funds on a nxt wallet to get these ignis ?

Jelurida didn't stated anything concerning hot wallets on exchanges and other places.

As far as i remember those who held NXT on poloniex and other big exchanges  last year, also received their Ardor tokens.


Why would holding NXT for IGNIS be different ?

They clóse the web-wallet, u have to download the desktop one and move your Next/jlrda there.

So I got a message from nxt today saying they’re closing the nxt wallet and to get funds out before end of month. If I can’t hold nxt in the wallet, where do I put it so I can still get ignis. Anyone know? This is soooo disorganized.

When is the snapshot? How much longer do we wait? I bought 3 BTC worth of NXT for this and its worth 3k USD now. I really want to salvage something

You have(had) 2 ways to get ignis.
1. Buy JLDRA tokens with NXT via the NXT wallet which automatically will convert to IGNIS tokens after the genesis snapshot.(however the ICO has ended so this is N/A)
2. Hold NXT in your NXT wallet and your NXT will automatically give you IGNIS tokens at the snapshot date.

Anyone know how to claim the free Ignis? I have the Nxt light wallet downloaded. Ignis sold out their $21M so this thing should take off!

this is so confusing ? so i should buy nxt and download an next wallet which takes hours to sync ? any better idea ?

"IGNIS DISTRIBUTION:

The total amount of IGNIS coins issued will be equal to half of the amount of NXT coins existing on the Nxt blockchain at the time of the Ardor Genesis Snapshot, plus 500 M (five hundred million).
As already promised, approximately half of the IGNIS coins will be reserved and distributed automatically to the NXT holders based on their account balances at the time of the Ardor Genesis Snapshot, at 1 NXT = 0.5 IGNIS ratio.
From the remaining 500 M (five hundred million) IGNIS, 420 M (four hundred and twenty million) will be offered to the general public in a crowdsale (ICO), and 80 M (eighty million) will be kept by Jelurida. The funds raised during the IGNIS token sale will be used for the further development, maintenance, advancement and world-wide promotion of the Nxt and Ardor blockchain platforms, as well as protecting the intellectual property of the code base.
The Jelurida team is now happy to announce that the legal, technical and organizational preparations for the IGNIS ICO are entering their final stage. The ICO will start near the end of July or early August 2017 (exact date and time to be disclosed at least two weeks in advance).
The token sale itself will be conducted on the Nxt blockchain platform. A “controllable currency” called JLRDA will be issued and offered for sale in several consecutive rounds. A controllable currency was chosen to prevent trades from happening while the token sale is ongoing so that purchases of JLRDA directly contribute to funding the development of the platform.
Purchasing JLRDA tokens will require NXT, however users will be able to exchange other cryptocurrencies to NXT conveniently within the Nxt wallet using the integrated ShapeShift and Changelly third party exchanges, subject to availability.
The Ardor Genesis Snapshot will be performed at least two weeks after the end of the last JLRDA sale round.
For 1 JLRDA token the participants in the ICO will receive 1 IGNIS coin at the time of the Ardor Genesis Snapshot."

Or is it safer to put our nxt on the dedicated wallet?
Will the online wallet on mynxt work?

And...what about hold nxt, get 0.5 x and insta-sell, after the snapshot?

Is it 0.5 Jelurida per 1 NXT in the airdrop? Why would someone buy them for 1.05 NTX then? I am confused.

NXT has never been forked. That is a fact

Second fact: NXT wallet is one of the most popular and copied UI in crypto wallets.

Im done with nxt. It keeps forking. Last time it was ardor. this time ignis? whats the point in all this nxt crap. I think that coin is going doooooown the drain.

Also the wallet is really crap. Never have I seen such a slow crappy interface. Just my opinion, but try it out.
