i earned a lot from altcoins specially those came from airdrops and bounty that boom and the price really surprising.Earning in altcoins is easy you don't need to spend or invest a lot of money specially if you know how to join in airdrop and bounty campaigns.Its hard to invest in other crypto specially in ICO because you dont know if the project will be indemand in the market.
For me, Altcoin change my life through gaining profit from it. As of this time, altcoin fro this moment is not good but i think it will rise soon if the problem will be solve. And maybe that was also the time that altcoin change our life.
Still noting happen in my life . but i have hope it will reach high when it will go uptread.
Only several alts of mine brought some benefits - ETH and XRP lately cus I was lucky to sell and re-buy those while being high, and dump after that. Also, currently I've got a couple of other alts which are looking profitable as well either on short or long distance, for example, MGO is one of those which raised pretty high last month. I mean there's no reason to focus on some currencies while ignoring the rest, there are still much of those which look pretty strong and potentially might grow.
Actually i'm just always investing some altcoins or buying on it in the market but iv'e choose only to those altcoins that have some potential to grow the price of it. And ill change my life to gained more profit of altcoins for trading and any way of work in crypto using altcoins.
Yes I also start on traded crypto with my first few assets. and I get a lot of benefit from the investments that I do, it's all made me continue to trade until now. but unfortunately the market right now is not so good for trading, I opted for the Secretary of Defense crypto assets I have. clear, crypto has changed my world with the many benefits they provide.

I came to this place with a few bucks ($15k on 2015) and then just tried to use them all to buy ethereum and bitcoin. This time my coins have changed my life. I wish i was in the same situation as you. As opposed to you, i sold cheaply ethers which i bought cheaper. And then i bought some ethers about $ 300 again a few months ago and now i am in loss.
This is all the same as with any investment, if properly invested in the project, it will give you a good profit,and you will have a good mood,and if wrong and lost money, then cautiously Wake up to everything, and next time more carefully and in detail to study the project, and you look already start to invest more competently,and earn money
I wouldn't tell you about altcoins especially but about whole cryptocurrency sphere. First my cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. But for now I changed my priorities and my favorite coin is Ethereum. I believe that Ethereum is future.

Altcoins haven't change my life because I'm not the early investor (before 2016), I'm prefer hold for long term, so I losses a lot of money in 2018 (paper profit losses), but Stellar save my life and give me living expenses in 2018 bear market year, even if the market price down, Stellar price maintenance and don't same as other altcoins lost more than 80% value, hope next year is better than now

Bitcoin has really change the life of many for good and I will say view for bad and I see those as noons who join in pump situation and now holding with big lost , but if have faith and hold they will definitely join the winning team too so.

Of course, some of the Altcoins can change life and bring huge profits, the most important thing is to properly manage your coins and sell / buy them on time. Personally, I had several cases about which I regret when I did not sell my coins in time, and then their value significantly decreased. Nevertheless, I want to earn as many coins as possible and get a profit in the future.

Well it changed a lot I managed to buy plenty of things that I didn't expect I could and get the amount of money that I didn't expect that I would in just a short time.
Yes, you are right. As for me, crypto is just like a hobby, but it helps me to earn some money, on which I can buy some things in the short time 
For me crypto is a life changer, some can argue that this could be for the worse or the better, but we can choose which perspective to be on. Crypto made me view new opportunities and opened a whole new financial world, so crypto is definitely to stay. Its an early technology but with time some of the limits will get addressed.
