Well the best way to do is to be more wisely and avoid clicking malicious website.
Securing your account from all intruders and if you feel that is not a legit don't try to join or participate in any campaign.
Avoiding scammers are also the  same as hackers.

That is what you get in keeping a lot of amount in your wallets, especially if you do not own a hardware wallet, hackers are everywhere, beware and be vigilant because I think that these hackers are powerful, there are lots of cases like this, this is why you should keep your private keys somewhere that no one can even see it, this will help a lot and lastly do not keep your holdings for a very long time, that is the big mistake this youtuber made, losing that kind of bitcoin is a big pain in the neck, I just hope that he has regain and made adjustments throughout the months.

The best way to protect yourself from bitcoin theft is to use hardware cryptocurrency wallets. I recommend Ledger Nano s, and even better Ledger Blue. You can store up to 10 different coins on the Ledger Blue wallet at the same time.

Never feel safe with the bitcoin we have, there will always be thieves ready to drain all the bitcoins, and the most important thing to make safe is to activate all the security features provided devs.

Electronic money is traded and traded entirely online, so it is extremely important for depositors such as Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) to invest in stocks, especially long-term investments. term. At present, there are quite a few ways that users can accomplish their purpose of safe Bitcoin storage. For safety reasons, you should use a cold wallet because the cold wallet has the advantage of not having a direct connection to the internet, as it is used to keep Bitcoin offline. Once there is no connection between the wallet and the internet, hackers can not steal money from your wallet.

Bookmark your wallet website link. Never use the link to your wallet from different websites. You should keep your private keys in safe place too. Dont trust anyone with your private key. Use a hardware wallet. They are pricey but they will benefit you in the long run.

Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.

In every industry, there are some people that try to take advantage and ruin this friendly community. If someone says that they can double your coins and asks for your wallet account's information, that will be the time to doubt. Don't trust someone especially if the offer is too good to be true and never reveal any information that may lead an access to your account.

Dont trust to anyone. Only yorself. Dont put your account to any sites.

I'm new  to this Bitcoin so I asked ahead of mine about how not to be hacked and thanks of not declining.

Your coins are only as secure as the place where they are stored. This comes down to the exchange they are hosted on, or the terminal that your wallet is stored on. Try not to download unvetted programs, regularly scan your rig, and use two factor whenever possible. And most importantly, always remember: if you don't control the keys, you don't control the coins!

You must remember these simple thing:

1. Avoid clicking unsafe link using your computer. There are links that look safe but dangerous when opened.

2. Copy your private keys in a paper or print it and keep it safe. But the best way to keep your private keys no matter where you put it is to add random letters or number in your pk, that only you can recognize. In that way, hackers or snoopers will be confused. But never ever forget where you insert the random letters and numbers, at least 3numbers and 2 letters will do.

(There are times that I accidentally make a screenshot of my pk (which is in my windows sticky note) during a screenshot and send it to a fellow trader totally unaware. But it doesn't cause me problem or issues because the letters and numbers are jumbled and have additional letters and numbers.)
3. Used different emails to your accounts. An account that you don't use on public sites. Have a separate one to keep that safe from those sites that sold your email address.

These are some of the keys that I always remember to keep my funds safe. I hope that these things can help you too.

keep safe, everyone.

To protect our self for being hack what we need to do is that we must be careful to every details we are putting in the internet. We must on entrust our accounts and even our personal details to the internet especially to the social media. We must also not post any personal details in social media because that is one of the target of hackers where the hackers are getting the personal details of their targets. In short what we need to do is not to trust easily because there are a lot of hackers out there who are just waiting for the right opening to attack us.

A private key connects a bitcoins holder or other virtual currency to his wallet, through a coded signature, and allows him to spend it. In other words, if someone gets it, they will have access to your crypto-currencies. So you have to find the right balance between the need to keep this combination within clicks, to easily access its digital assets, and to ensure its confidentiality. No question, therefore, to scribble it on a fly sheet, to keep it in a file free of access on its computer or to communicate it to a third by e-mail. There are more, if not much more, secure ways to store this data.
The first option available to crypto-currencies holders is to keep the private key on the servers of the trading platform they have invested in. The problem is the risks of hacking and blocking the funds by the governments to which this solution is exposed.
Another possibility is to go through a wallet software. There are two types: Web wallets, online-hosted portfolios, and mobile wallets, which, as the name implies, are available on smartphone. Security usually goes through a pin code at the launch of the application and a recovery sentence.
The third possible scenario is to download the entire blockchain on its hard drive. Installing these software (e.g., Bitcoin clients) is obviously a consumable solution in disk space and memory (count 150 gigabytes for Bitcoin Blokchain), but the advantage is that there is no need to restore its trust In the hands of a third party to validate its transactions. The user's computer thus becomes part of the security of the entire network

Do not keep your data in online storage, when your email gets hacked then all access to your online storage will be stolen all. Better print on paper and keep your private key.

I think the best was is to activate a google authenticator in your accounts so that it will increase your security level and hackers can not get access into your wallet easily. Also save your private keys offline and do not lost or miss it. Do not let your private keys be made known to any other people  even to your friends because they can access your wallet and steal your bitcoin from your wallet.
