It's harder than creating a new one you will trace who holds the most number of coins, you will set up another community and make them trust the project again if you are creating a new one things will be much easier, the only issue here is the duplication so you have to make a disclaimer and make the community understand your intention.

You want to keep the development going for an already dead or soon to be? Don't, just don't. There are plenty of reasons why coin dead and if you are an outsider, you won't know so don't try to invest your time, money into a dead coin. It is a fool's errand.

Many a times there are good altcoins that are dead without any valid reason, the project was good, the developers were also good, maybe the reason can be the lack of funds for continuing the project or lack of community support or it can be that the coin wasn't listed on any exchange and hence died. If the coin was genuinely good then a good investor can really make the coin do wonders if the reason for abandoning was lack of funds for the developers, I guess the source codes available on the github or maybe on the forum announcement can do the work for acquiring the necessary files for restarting the project.

the first thing you need to do is fund the project. that's one possible way to keep a project going or succeeding in the marketplace. Generally, projects stop due to lack of funds or do not meet targets for further development.

I don't think you can do that alone, you need a team and a promoter so that the dead coins can come back to life. Yes you need to talk to the CEO, maybe you will be asked to make up for all losses, are you ready for that? Because I don't think the CEO will give away their tokens for free to you.

I believe that everything is possible! With hard work, sacrifice, capital, skills, experience, a good and experienced
people in your team. If you have what it takes you can do anything you plan to do, but as I said only if you have
what's necessary, and to be able to endure even when hard times comes, when you face with obstacles on your
way, and there will be obstacles and hard times.

Not all coins can be revive because some left a bad impact on investors mind before going down, some coins are dead because they are pump and dump projects and some are complete Ponzi, do not waste time on such Projects and infact it will be better to build yours from scratch

it's not a good idea, usually dead projects have been abandoned by the developers and investors. it is often abandoned because it does not have the opportunity to continue to develop in the future. If you are a developer and have a big budget then it is far better to start over and not restart a dead project.

In my opinion, one way you need to communicate with the project maker to continue its development. however I don't think there is a dead altcoin yet to continue its development. to continue it again takes a long time.
it does not necessarily take a long time. I see how the alt season begins and many projects that have been at the bottom for several years have begun active growth.
If that was having a very bad reputation and it's impossible to recover it again. You must know those who have been growing up again were not yet scam projects. that means if when they bring a good result or update for the investors and they can easily growing up.

Its only possible if that coins they make is give their investors large gain before , even they get that they will still think if the owner can improve the coins uses and other improvement they are planning they need to know it before you can have the trust of old investors. If its came from proven scam project its better to not revive that coins and make your own instead if you want to have different result.

it's hard to revive them. you better develop a new one. dead altcoins are just a shitcoins, even if you have a good team and some brilliant ideas for it. i think the dead altcoin projects is hard to get some interest from people since they don't trust those altcoins anymore. worthless to do.

Hi,

I see lots of abandoned crypto projects with potential and lets say I am interested in one of them and want to keep the devlopment going. What should I do to achieve that?
Do I need to talk to the creators of the project?

Looking for some insight on it.

Thanks

It would be better if you forget about that idea and rather use the strength to study on potential coins and/or tokens you can trade, invest or hold for long; this is what I see as a good investment than looking for a way to revive dead altcoins which might be probably abandoned because of scam, pump and dump, negligence from the team and so on.
No matter how you see it, no matter the idea you think you will bring in that will revive the dead altcoin, you will only but end up wasting your precious time and losing your funds.

Don't bother to, it's a waste of time, investors will still remember a project that was once dead, there won't be any demand for such project without getting investors worry, and some projects failed due to exit scam or pump and dump, it's wise to start building your own Project

In fact, it is very difficult to revive a project, it is easier to create a new one.
After all, you have to do a rebranding, a new marketing campaign, to gather a community that already considers the project forgotten, plus people will have a residue from the past failure. In order to take such risks, you need to have a very good background for the project, otherwise it is easier to create something new based on the old one.

Where is the OP now? After creating this thread, he is gone. I hope he read some of the good insights here and not revive an old crap project. Better create a new one and really give purpose to his project. And not just another crap project that will be dead soon. If he can't sustain its development, better not create another one, at least one less crap project here.

I think altcoins that are dead can't come back because the reputation is very much in the eyes of investors if altcoins die being able to come back to life, of course there are many risks when investing in it
the only one chance for dead altcoins to return to their previous levels and get back investor confidence is to do strong technical development of the project and show activity
Perhaps that is the only way to regain investors' confidence. First they need to get the price back up and then roll out new updates, which will attract the interest of investors.

You can speak to the developer and their previous team and work together to get this done. In my personal view, you should create your own instead of trying to recreate what was already dead. You won't know what kind of baggage it carries with it. I have seen people do it in the past but very rarely have they succeeded.. However, if you want to do it anyway make sure you pay attention to why it was dead and if there is still community support for it. Without support it'll be dead again and your work will be wasted.

Agree, when we talk about the return of dead altcoins, their chances of surviving are too low when they turned down the community once and of course, in this investment world, once is more than enough to appear in public again, investors will have doubts as to why they came back when they hugged their money and went missing for a long time. Besides, new altcoins are always appearing, the community welcomes this and if you want to start, get rid of the old altcoin and get ready for a new project.
