If we want to use bitcoin as a currency then we marketplaces and online marketing shops should update their systems to accept cryptocurrencies. Also, i believe crypto enthusiasts can actually champion this course by publicly spending their cryptocurrencies rather than just holding them like an asset.

In accordance with the times, education about crypto or blockchain will continue to be in demand so that this will be a good impact for crypto users. However internet technology is expanding and this will be a development that is always the future, crypto will be used to become a more effective transaction even though many are eyeing it.

I certainly believe that the prime action to take is to educate people on the real essence  of Bitcoin and its functionalities. It would also help gain trust and interest in order for them to be fully-aware on how this technology truly works and the opportunities it can offer. It may not be widely-accepted for now, but I'm still hopeful and positive that it in the long run its demand will continue to increase and more people will embrace this innovation.

It isn't that easy to make a change throughout the world instantly. It takes time to attain the same, as of now very few countries around the world has understood better about the need of a virtual currency to the increasing population and the advancing technology. This will progress slowly giving way to more countries get into it.

How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.

All countries will develop slowly over time even though in some countries it does not respond to the current virtual currency. We can only wait in the waiting chair to see everything will change in the future.

We need to have more merchants and services accepting crypto currencies
i count on Bakkt what can be very popular in Asia
Bakkt will offer safe storage and will cover transaction fee
But still people around the globe are making money in his national currencies

many countries have different problems if they want to use bitcoin, like in my country in my country. there are still many terrorists and ponzi schemes, as well as opportunities for money laundering, but I think later if you want to become a developed country, the government must follow technological developments, and I am not worried about the current ban

There's still countries who think that bitcoin threaten their economy or they're still seeing it as a some type of ponzi/scam system,
but for those who able to cater and enjoy the usage of bitcoin for payment transactions they  are well aware what bitcoin bring
them as an easy access to those online stores and some payment centers who already accept bitcoin as one of its cater currency.

Bitcoin requires more liquidity and less volatility, both of these are possible only when we can have active millions of bitcoin users daily. It'll take time, but ultimately, we'll reach out to that point!

Not necessarily.  If I'm not mistaken, payment processors like Bitpay convert to fiat instantly so that there's no exchange rate risk for the merchant to deal with.  But volatility certainly does prevent businesses from actually accepting bitcoin (as opposed to bitcoin that's converted to fiat by the payment processor).  It obviously wouldn't be good for any merchant if they got a payment in bitcoin and then the price crashed shortly thereafter. 

As far as what we can do to promote bitcoin as a currency, I'm not sure there is much the average person can do aside from lobbying businesses (especially the big ones like Amazon) to do so, and my guess is that a lot of them don't want to be associated with an anonymous currency that's frequently linked in the media to criminal operations like Silk Road and whatnot.

Also, there are a lot of us bitcoin enthusiasts who don't want to spend it on mundane items or services where fiat will do just fine.  Why run the risk of missing out on making a profit if bitcoin starts to take off just because you wanted to spend it on computer equipment at Newegg or something like that?  I've always seen bitcoin more as an investment that has properties of a currency, but I've never been a big fan of actually using it as money.  Thus I'm not concerned that most businesses don't accept bitcoin.  If it stays that way, I'd be totally fine with it.

Based on my own experience, i have already taught one of my friends to use and to invest in bitcoin for them to support their daily needs in life and i also encourage them that using bitcoin as a currency has a advantage because every transaction will be more faster and convenient when you do it in every store, that is why a lot of people are hoping that the bitcoin will start to be legalize the government.
