I think somehow it's good, it depends on to whom are you going to put on the death penalty. If someone did a crime that is worth to be punished by death penalty, then I think I'll agree.

Death penalty is a serious punishment because we talk about people’s life. I think it’s depends on what crime their committed like about drug, murder, rape and other brutal crimes. In my country, death penalty are not implemented I think it’s one of the reason why the crime rate are still high and criminals are force to do crimes. Government must act to this not only for today but also for the future.

If the people of that country is not threaten with a huge punishment of their crimes, they will be doing the same thing because they can take the punishment. It may not be good to kill people but from their crimes, their lives is not enough to be paid for the sin they made. So they must pay it by the highest form of punishment a government can give.

There were a ton of executions recently too because the drug used to complete the executions is being stopped manufacturing this drug. Anyways, long story short many many people are against it. It's getting harder to execute people at least here in The United States.

The number of death penalties being carried out has dropped drastically in the United States, due to the biased actions by the Democrat appointed judges. Some times, the convict was let off because he was black, and some times he was freed saying that his IQ lever is lesser than 70 (the average IQ in African nations such as DRC is around 66).
These Liberal minded idiots will be the end of us all, When a crime is committed  and the perpetrator is guilty, there shouldn't be any grounds to let him or her with regards to race and even intelligence, where is the justice in that.

I support death penalty for rapist, drud dealer, treason and killer who take innocent people live. Don't talk about human rights for people who committed such crime. I support any government decision to use this law.

Ah.. here again. I don't understand why people consider drug smuggling as a crime which is even worse than rape or murder. Those who use drugs do so on their own choice. No one is forcing them to take drugs.

In my country, death penalty is still going under process on whether or not it should be implemented for crimes such as rape, murder and excessive drug use. I support the idea of death penalty and that it should be given as punishment to those who have done crimes that are beyond human acts, things that are far more great than theft.

Don't Be Stupid
In the U.S. state of Arkansas for eleven days from 17 to 27 April - going execution of seven men sentenced to death. The reason for such haste is that at the end of the month expiration midazolam - medicines used for injections in the execution of the death penalty. Over the last ten years in Arkansas were not executed prisoners. The seven men were handed down death sentences in the period between 1990 and 2000, the years for murder, robbery and rape. Midazolam is one of the drugs used in the process of execution of a death sentence to the convicts fainted. In the US the use of this drug is considered controversial after 2014, one of the sentenced to death more than 40 minutes remained conscious after the injection of midazolam and died a painful death. European manufacturers of midazolam refuse to deliver to US an additional batch of the drug. Existing stocks will end shortly, so in Arkansas and hurry to execute the death penalty.

I support death penalty for rapist, drud dealer, treason and killer who take innocent people live. Don't talk about human rights for people who committed such crime. I support any government decision to use this law.

I believe it should be used only in cases where the evidence is insurmountable. It also in theory acts as a deterrent to committing crime and would save the state swathes of money.

I think it’s fair. If you want to take someone else’s life, you should pay the same cost.

The murder case must be entirely punishable by death sentence. I agree with you, if you dare to kill people, you must also be ready to be killed or put to death. But the death penalty is not just for murder cases. The corpse also I thinks  should be punished with the death penalty. Corruption is not a trivial case, millions of people can be very miserable because of a corruption case.

I agree with the death penalty, through this serious punishment, will make people fear, not crime, it has a great effect on the control of crime rate.

I agree with the death penalty rule but only in the cases related to Rape, caught in the act of using drugs and Killings. And also, if the case will undergo through judicial process with valid evidence. And I wish that every case that will result into death penalty will be publicized that'll show transparency. It will definitely scare the hell out of criminals. Everyone are scared of the death penalty and so do I, but if it will alarm those who do crimes? That'll be good. Just my 2 cents.

I support death penalty for rape, murder and treason, but I can't support its usage for drug offences. Drug usage is a personal choice and my opinion is that the government should stay away from it. Also, how can you justify the legalization of certain drugs (such as Methadone, Buprenorphine, Oxycodone and Hydromorphone) and the banning of certain others (such as weed and cocaine)?

Death penalty is as essential in law as the white blood cells in our body which are protecting our body from infectious diseases. What you have stated is totally a different discussion, i don't think so they did anything wrong to by executing the criminals who are already sentenced to death.

I'm fine with an occasional execution but the reason why they're rushing these don't seem to be right.

I support the death penalty. Any liberal laws lead to more crimes. Migrant crisis in Europe also proves it. Only the presence of weapons among the population is holding back a huge amount of crime in the United States. Here you have all the liberalism.

You're in EU? Do all countries there really have unarmed police? I really found that surprising and baffling at the same time. I live in a third world country and none of our police here would be caught dead without a gun. (Whether the gun actually work properly is a different issue.)

Death penalty is very difficult issue, from political side, medical, social, philosophical, religious etc.
In case of war, to defend the nation and people, soldiers can shoot and kill the enemy.
However, what if we are not at war?
Does society have a moral right to apply the principle of an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, life for life, as in the Old Testament?
In the most countries in the world today, answer is simple no.
They do not want to destroy human life, but to rehabilitate the person and allow repentance and new life.
I think that such way is much more humanistic than death penalty practice today in America.
If someone is too dangerous for society, it is clear that we will not let him out.

I share your views on rehabilitation but there are some people who really wouldn't change, hard that maybe to accept. Or maybe we just haven't found the proper tools. Neurology seem to offer solutions in the future.

For now though, we are stuck with criminals where some may repeat the offense or commit worse crimes later. Provided they were really proven guilty, I'm fine having capital punishment as a final resort, as a last option for really violent offenders. That or keep them locked up and on medications forever.

It depends on which country, but in general a lot of police in European countries do not carry weapons at the lower levels. They have mid level and higher level police units that ar emore specially trained that carry weapons.

Go watch some videos in France or Britain and see how they run away from mobs of people armed with knives, because they are not armed. They  are a disgrace in my opinion because how can they protect anyone like that. Might as well  not have them if they just run away.

Yes perhaps and at least it will help reduce thr number of criminality when the death penalty will be imposed once again.  Criminals are not that afraid on punishments because most often, they were being pardoned.  Sometimes the accusations against them become dismissed because the victims are no longer interested because it take so long.  Death penalty should be imposed on crimes that takes life.

Most of the criminals are no longer afraid of the prisons. They have their own prison gangs, and they are able to smuggle cigarettes, drugs and alcohol inside the prisons. That is the reason I say that labor colonies are better than normal prisons.

The death penalty must be in all countries to reduce the number of crimes. Criminals are not afraid of the threat to go to prison and continue to kill innocent people, and the death penalty will stop the majority.

Death penalty has been a big issue in my country because we are one of the biggest Catholic country in the world. But for me, death penalty should be implemented but with reservations. What I mean with "with reservations" is that only those filthy and very severe crimes should be charged with death penalty. For example murder, homicide, and rape. I also hope that the justice system is not biased so that only those true criminals who committed such crimes will be penalized and no innocent person who are wrongly accused will be charged with death.
