Taking a lot of time just to study the information about the project, I start to analyze the project itself, the development team, and so on. Therefore, I think that the best place today is probably our favorite forum.

I mainly learn new information from my friends. We exchange information about interesting altcoins, after which we do an independent analysis.

I like to join the telegram page of the new coins I am interested in. Over there, the team answers all questions related to the coin and you can learn a lot. For coins i would like to invest in, I do read their whitepaper as well.

Aside from here, where else?

Apart from this forum. I have been also using Westart. In westart you need to first clear level 2 KYC. As through them you can participate in new ICO TGE,  join Airdrop program and also Bounty program. They only list ICO's after they clrar their listing criteria. So the chance of Scam is very low there.

If you would like to join Westart then click the link below

P.S - The above link is my REFERRAL link.

Aside from this forum. I learn altcoins from my friends and some group chats that I'm into. It's useful to have group chats with other people because you will be informed if there are new coins out there. Also, there are other forums that talks about altcoins mainly.

For a new Altcoin, in my opinion, you need to read the white paper carefully and analyze the goals, technologies, project measures being implemented, routes and team . Refer to the Altcoin charts, refer to the community's response around the project ...

I go on ICO calendars to find the brand new coins or scroll through coinmarketcap's and do a bit of random research. Plutus is my most recent find, they're introducing cryptocurrency payments at 40 million+ stores worldwide, it's like a decentralized version of TenX. Telegram is also a pretty good place to find out more about a project/alt coin https://t.me/plutus_group

I am looking for a new coins here on our forum. But also I always visit the most popular ICOrating websites to check the new projects. These websites are great but you should also do your own investigation of a project that you want to take part in.

In most cases, I hear about all the news about the crypto currency from the forum, a little less from advertising, but basically this is the forum community, here are the majority of people who understand what is at stake and understand that this is a very promising direction.

Aside from here, where else?
I know a lot about the new altcoin currency. I will check whether a altcoin has a future from the trading volume of an exchange. The value is not worth investing.

There are a wide range of crypto related websites, the quality, and quanty also keep increase, so I think it is not that difficult now in 2018 to learn about Altcoins. Youtube is also full of crypto influencers, or people wishing to become crypto influencer.

With research and through word of mouth...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers
