Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
The problem in today's  world is that everyone is gambling and betting anonymously in the comfort of their homes or even on thier cell phones. Most of the time the other people won't know if the person is having bets that's on the losing side or on the winning side.
Another thing is that most gamblers won't even tell their family that they are losing money in gamble otherwise their wives and their family members will try to stop them.

This is why it is difficult to find who are playing aggressive and excessive gambling and losing their life hard earned money through betting and all these stuff.

It seems to me that those who play through the application on mobile do not play for big money, this is something like entertainment for them. And in fact, now most of them play like this, because the smartphone is always with us and we can play anytime we want. Aggressive betting takes more time, so it will be much more difficult to keep it a secret, you need to analyze matches, read the news and this will not go unnoticed by our family.

The question is if you're a gambler or have someone who is, what's the best way to help out. And what's your story on escaping that addiction (gambling)...

How do you fight this battle?
You don't have to quit gambling unless you are an addict and addiction is somthing that is subjective and there are no general rules to fighting it. But I will try my best to suggest some means to curtail the excess of gambling or to stop it totally.
  • The victim should go get a high payijg job, when one is makikg so much money, they may care less about gamblikg since they would be busy in the majority of their lives
  • Relocation actually is a good tool to fight addiction.  It really worked in the time of traditional casino.  But now it might not be the ultimate because anyone can assess a betting company with internet access but it wipl still help separate you from some addicted colleagues

Wow I think it's  just to break your phone and shot yourself  away from internet and smart phones or electronics.
Just kidding 😂 .
But the truth is that an addicted gambler will never accept that they're addicted and it .amen it hard for them to get help and most times, the victim might pick offense if they're been reported to security personnels and might not feel happy about such even the local community  might not happy with you.
The moment you notice that someone is persistently  making bets and making huge losses, I think it is the responsibility  of everyone around the person to cautions the gambler and that's one of the ways to help call someone to other.

Well, it's obviously difficult, but nothing is impossible in the world. It becomes easier if you are addicted to gambling only because of the pleasure of playing the games and not for getting a lot of money, if you are financially stable and have no issues at all when it comes to money, all you need is a different activity that will keep you engaged and won't give you enough time to gamble a lot, now finding such activity is the challenge.

If you are not financially stable and have got addicted to gambling while trying to earn a living for yourself then it is a bigger problem because if you don't have a job, no income at all, you won't be able to do anything else since you don't have money, in such a case, a friend or a family member might be able to help keep you engaged in something else and keep you away from gambling.

Gambling brings so much joy especially when you're on the winning side, when things are all in your favor it just seems like you should never stop. But when it gets bad, you look for a way to pour out your anger, either on someone or on something.

honestly it's hard to imagine that a person is in a sequence of many victories in gambling, we all know that gambling does not generate profits in the long term, but unfortunately there are people who find it hard to understand that and because they don't want to realize that these people when they lose in the game they put more money thinking that next time it will be different and they will win, but they lose money again, and again they put money to continue playing and in this process they become addicted to gambling, if people were making profits with gambling obviously they wouldn't be making more new deposits and there wouldn't be many gambling addicts, it's not the fault of the casinos and the gambling, it's the people's fault

When someone is addicted to gambling I feel it's worst than one who's addicted to drugs.

it's actually the same thing, addiction and addiction and every addict whether it's drugs, alcohol, sex, stealing, killing or gambling addicts act the same way, just change some things in the treatment to cure these people, for example in In the case of a gambling addict he has to stay away from anything that allows gambling, while in the case of an alcohol addict he has to stay away from alcohol, in the case of sex he will stay away from sex, but addicts act in the same ways

So much has been said about betting companies regarding how they should be responsible in helping those who are addicted to gambling, although is really hard to do so on there own path because gamblers can't be monitored.

I honestly don't see any reason for a casino to take care of their addicted customers, it doesn't make sense, has anyone seen alcoholic beverage companies taking care of all alcoholic customers? I've never seen it, because it's people's fault, there is a TOS that makes each person responsible for their actions

How do you fight this battle?
to be honest I was a crazy gambling addict in the past but if I tell my story until I get well maybe it will be too long but I will take the gist of my story.

I used to be a gambling addict who spent almost all the money and valuables I had but I constantly wanted to gamble as if I felt dissatisfied if I didn't get something big. and in the end I was really confused, it got worse, I didn't have anything and my family almost didn't care. In the end, I left home for almost a very long time like a homeless person and I felt regret realizing that I had spent a lot of money and had the desire to get well.
in the end I asked for help from my family to cure my gambling addiction and they were very happy to see my intention to stop gambling and I was arranged to marry a woman who is now my wife, she was very patient and beautiful, which made me even more excited to stop gambling and focus on living to support my wife.

after a few years of marriage, I tried to tell my wife if I could gamble and she said yes, but only for entertainment and planning for a small amount of money that I could afford to lose. so that until now I have always been open with my wife to maintain my emotions and control my finances to avoid crazy addiction again.

this is real from what I experienced and what is certain is that the main key to recovering from gambling addiction is self-will and a strong determination to recover.

Gambling could lead to mood changes which could lead to positive or negative behavior. No addiction is better than another. All addiction has severe consequences for the addicts. Gambling addiction has some effects that could affect the finance, health, family, and society at large. It will be better not to be addicted to anything because the effect might be disastrous.

I don't know if booking an appointment with a therapist would help or is something you as a gambler who wants out should do on your own.
Gambling firms have the task of promoting the drive for responsible gambling. Underaged gambling should be discouraged by limiting adverts to mature targets. Enlightenment programs that include the teaching of some of the ways of avoiding gambling addiction and the need not to gamble more than they can afford to lose should be organized. After engaging in self-help and discovering that you cannot help yourself, it will not be out of place to seek the help of professionals that are specialists in helping people facing gambling disorders.

Rehab is the best ever solution to get rid of any kind of addiction which maybe hard to practice but it's the most effective so we need to make them realise they are addictive towards gambling so it's time to spend time on other things as well. But for someone else we can't do much, all we can do is show the path and their will power only can take them to the place where they want to be.

Well, if you feel yourself that you are doing something more than how much you're supposed to do then its time to focus on other.

Suddenly rich is my hope when playing gambling. Who is not tempted by gambling, spend a little capital but you have the possibility to get money from the capital you spend to many times. The victory that I only got a few times made me survive from gambling so I needed a long time to be aware of the loss when I play gambling.

I know that gambling will only make me lose and finally I decided to quit the world of gambling, when I calculated all the costs I spent and the victory I got when playing and the results I spent greater than the victory I got. As well as my savings and assets, instead of increasing, but instead my savings run out to play gambling and some of my assets are sold out to be used as gambling capital in the hope that all the costs I spend can return with the victory I get. And again what happened my assets disappeared and the capital I spent did not return because only the defeat I got. And that's what makes me quit gambling.
Gambling is a futile investment and only the loss you get.

How do you fight this battle?
The key to fighting or stopping addiction is if you no longer have money to gamble. Gambling addiction was my struggle before when I'm still new to crypto. I have a lot of sources of income which makes me free to gamble anytime that I want. I can't stop playing no matter how hard I want to stop back then so I decided to remove all the money from my wallet. I give all access to my bank account to my wife and then she just gave me spare money for gambling.

Until now, The only money that I'm using for my gambling is my forum salary and some part of my crypto investment that is currently on my hardware wallet. It's very to fight it if you have all the available resources for it especially if you don't have much social life to redirect your focus out of gambling.
I would blame not having enough social life as a distraction from gambling more than having enough resources, even if you have enough resources to keep gambling, if you have more things to keep yourself engaged, you won't gamble that much, but if you are always free and sitting at home, you will obviously be attracted towards things like video games or online casinos because you obviously need a way to pass your time.

I understand that having a limited amount for gambling can prevent you from spending a lot of money on gambling, but getting addicted to gambling doesn't come only by having a lot of money, initially, you will start playing for a limited time, but as you get into the pleasure of winning, you start playing more and that causes you to become addicted gradually.
It would all matter on how you would really be distracting up yourself when it comes to this situation, it doesnt really need that you would be having tons of works because having some other activities would already do its job.It is really just depending or basing up on someones will whether if they are really that serious when it comes on stopping gambling. We arent that dumb
that we wont really be wary about our actions or the things that we've been doing. If you do tolerate out your own addiction then for sure you would be ending up on a mess
but if you are really that get worried on spending up more or losing tons then you would really be just simply stop mid way.

It is really just a matter of control and mind discipline because if you arent really good at it, then you would really be definitely be keeps on coming back and having that the same
perception and treatment towards gambling. If you do want nor chase up wins or even your losses then for sure you would be ending up on a disaster instead.

If I want to quit completely, I think I can. I mean because I still want to do it so I limit and also bet when I have two days off on Saturday and Sunday and even then if I want it with a small capital I'm ready to fill my spare time, and for fun.

and in my opinion and my experience having a busy life or having a job is a good solution, because there is no time to gamble because of work and after returning home I feel tired and rested that I feel every day and that can make me forget about gambling because I don't there is time, actually if I want I can stop gambling and use it to fill my free time or vacation for holidays with my family, traveling or hanging out with friends who I think will forget it.

If you are really dealing with a gambling addiction, then it is absolutely not easy to just stop it for a while. I don't think it's going to work that way. You will first have to face the situation and numbers, and then hope that you will stop gambling through a certain self-made policy or at least only start gambling as a recreational person. Codl Turkey to stop gambling is one of the hardest solutions out there. But, where there's a will, there's a way.

I stop gambling when I don't have money or money but have needs in life that I have to fulfill, so I prefer to fulfill them first. I'm lucky that I'm not addicted to gambling anymore, even though I used to have a bit of gambling addiction, but that has passed. When we experience financial problems and life necessities that must be met, we normally try to fulfill them. But it will be different when someone is addicted to gambling because what is on his mind is gambling, and he cannot put his life's needs first. The best way to help him is to get him involved in activities different from gambling. Perhaps inviting the person to do activities he used to enjoy can make him realize that he can take his mind off gambling and open up his mind to recover from gambling addiction.
I guess this is one way of stopping yourself from gambling. When you don't have something to gamble with, you're not obliged to deposit because you have nothing to gamble.

It's a good strategy for someone who can't stopped himself from doing so and this is like forcefully making you the right choice when your situation is no longer help you.

The situation that's hard to deal with is when you've got little money, you are quick to gamble it even if you know that you're not gonna win and you're more likely just gonna lose it.

For me is simple  Grin. If I don't have any money in my sportsbet.io account , I won't bet. There are times where I really want to bet on some event that I really enjoy like F1 or some certain NBA games and if I have the possibility to loan a small amount , I will do it if not , I will simply move further. I don't have an addiction towards gambling and I'm glad for this but I also don't have a lot of money to spend on gambling nor do I look to get rich by doing it and people who know me , they know I speak the truth.  Per example , I really love to bet on Dota 2 tournaments and DreamLeague just began today but I have no money for it ..so I just watch and enjoy the game.

Overall , it's better to be rough with yourself and when it's time to stop , just stop. If you have bigger problems , you should call your internet provider first of all to block all access towards bookies and it can be done in under 1 day and even if you go with VPN , your provider won't let you access those sites no matter what you try. Then , of course , you need that self control over your phone and other gadgets who do have internet access.

They are professionals, so they will certainly help the gamblers. However, it depends on the willingness of the gambler to heal from a gambling addiction problem, as they are the ones who will initiate the action to become completely free from addiction. It's actually easy to stop gambling because the answer is already present; however, it only depends on the implementation process, as not every gambler has the same sincerity when it comes to accepting their problems and correcting them.

Gambling is fun but you should always have your limit and be responsible with your bets.
Escaping addiction is not easy, you have to seek professional advices and ask someone to guide you while you are on the process of recovery. Don’t be ashamed asking for a help because you can’t do it alone and you might fall on the same situation if you didn’t pay attention to this. I fight addiction by being a responsible gambler, its not easy but you have to.
Once I reach my bet limit and lost all the amount of funds deposited in my account in betting I quit for the day note I only deposited and bet with the amount of money I can afford to lose, at times I give myself some breathing space for a week this I often do to avoid being addicted to gambling, even though I have funds to be deposited after losing my funded account yet I always take a break because I believe there are countless betting opportunities ahead or in another day so in a bid to regain my lost bets or chase my losses that day I may continue to lose more funds this is an experience that I passed through and very common among addicted gamblers.

Quitting is not also an easy road, it takes a long time to finally boost of oneself that there's no room for gambling. Permanent quitting of Quitting is also not an easy road; it takes a long time to convince oneself that there is no room for gambling. It takes time to effectively stop gambling permanently. I know some of my colleagues who claimed to have stopped gambling a long time ago, only to return within a few months, demonstrating that it is not simple to stop, especially for those who are addicted. After a thorough withdrawal and abstinence from all gambling-related activities, discipline and resolve, as well as changing circles and distance from those peers who gamble, one must begin pushing in new directions. Gambling always causes us to lose money and add to our debts for those who are desperate and hooked.
In fact, it is not easy to get out of the world of gambling, because the temptation to win is very high. I believe that most people (gamblers) must have a desire to quit, but not all of them are able to go through the process. Environmental factors greatly affect a person, when our friends are active gamblers there will be very little chance of us being able to stop. Someone will be far from bored in gambling because in their minds they always imagine a win, they always remember their past wins without realizing that to this day they have never seen how much money they spent to chase victory like in the previous time.

Like what I previously mentioned, stopping from any kind of addiction abruptly can be quite difficult- it is important to note that it takes years for a someone to get addicted; and it will also take months/years in order to address and cure it with several methods that require determination and patience.

For starters, it is important for a person to acknowledge that he/she is suffering from that addiction. Once they accept it, the second step is by reaching out to your family and peers for their support. There are many therapies available that cater to addiction but if you want to avoid vising therapies, then it is recommended that you look for different programs and activities that can be a substitute for your old habits.
