I disagree with the comment above.

Yes you will get more people adopting your token, but how do you think you get there in the first place? You need high trade volume, buzz and people behind your project to spread the word about it. The community does all this. They are the impetus for the coin to blow up! You can get on a big exchange, but there are so many tokens, that I don't think thats enough as you will get lost in the crowd, as the tokens backed will grow and trade.

Community is the place where development issues are discussed with crypto investors. It enable investors to build confidence in a project with asking related questions.

Community isn't that vital, as long as the token increases in value it will gain a following. Look at Ripple, it's not even decentralised and has a big following, I personally see no value in that token but it is constantly talked about and has a big community.

Majority of people just want to make profits on the token, and so even if you have 1,000's of people in your community, only a few will be die hard fans willing to push your token. Sadly people by their very nature are greedy and want the profits all to themselves.

Really depends on what the token does. If it is solely for trading, it doesn't need a userbase. If there is a use in the token, then having the community is vital.

A community is vital regardless of the category a project falls into. Either a project seeking to enhance tx speed,  sharding, or just a blockchain service, having a community is important. I've seen projects fall because of a lack of community supporters. It's one thing to create a solid project, It's another thing to get people to actually use it and without people using it, It's well on its path to failure. Most of those big cap coins you see on coinmarketcap.com didn't just get there. They had a solid community to support them on the way up.

Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

The community of any project is by type of client base. Only here people are not one-time users of your services/products. They are interested people who besides uses, also try to help, Finance and help to stay afloat. It's basically more of a community of ideas.

The project's co-existence is very necessary, because the community can always help in the implementation of the project, if you really found those people who like your idea or project idea, who are ready to support your project, of course the community is very important.

Community is basically one of the backbones in making a project successful. A large number of community promoting the project making it popular and attracts more investors as well. However, this doesnt guarantee a successful project because there are lot of things to consider.

I think community is important, but it´s not like the big community will cause high price of the token/coin in future. It´s also important to have healthy community and sofisticated community management. It´s mainly community management what can tell you a lot about certain project and people behind it.

Look for example on Electroneum - they have massive community but quite poor community management and price of the coin got really low either...

The community is very important. It promotes the product to more people to know. And then there will be people interested in the project and will invest. Imagine a project without the community wanting to sell but no one knows about them, the project will fail.

I think the community behind the encryption project is critical, it can provide all the help needed for the project, and it can also help project members to solve problems.

The community behind the project can affect the project's future. especially if they have an ICO.

Well most of them are paid but well even if some of them are paid, they can really get alot of hype from other people if they heard about the project.

Building a loyal community of a project is very important to liven up the crypto project itself. Crypto is enlarging along with the large of the community that spreads the existence.
I agree with what this article said about the importance of the community behind the crypto project. It leads the community to know and spread the project as well. As a result, the crypto project will be well-known. It is not only good for the promotion but also for the shake of token value on the market.

having a community will support the projects to stay survive for a long time and it will help the projects to reach many people in the future and they can work together with the devs and the team and still gives support. I think not just cryptocurrencies that need a community but the other project will also need a community and this is their reason to develop the projects so they can give something benefits to their community and moreover to many people in the world.

The community is a very important tool in the project, because if not the community, then the project as a whole will be lost because it is the community that forms the opinion about the project, because people are very strange in this regard, they simply can not draw conclusions, it is necessary to do it for them.

Of course there are not many communities that support the project voluntarily. Everyone has an interest. But if your project can provide what is really needed and provide potential benefits, I think the community will grow by itself.

It is needed and is only second to the product.

Crypto is just like any currency, it needs adoption and belief to make it strong. Without it, it fails just like any other fiat currency.

It is so important, I still don't see why some ICOs rush into raising without having a good community / product.

Community is very important especially if you have project to launch because community
is the best machinery in campaign , like for example in our community , it is very easy to
Advertise the product by simply putting the name of the product under our name .
