Personally I have always believed that the markets have three stages, pumping, dumping and stagnation, and it seems we are in the stagnation phase where the prices do not really move much and the market participants are trying to figure out what it is happening in the market, since the price dumped so much it seems to me that after this a pumping phase is inevitable.

Ethereum has been making some loses for quite some time now and I wonder if this loses are going to continue. Before this time ethereum is always carry along when bitcoin is bearish or bullish but now that is no longer the case. Today I see bitcoin making some gains and ethereum is falling. How long can this continue.
Actually, the average performance of all crypto currencies are diminishing. It just happened that Ethereum was affected most because it is the most commonly used platform of every transaction of booth Altcoins and ICO that all are also very much affected by this bearish market in which it creates domino effect to Ethereum market directly but as soon as Bullish market will takeover then i believed that altcoins will bounce back making the Ethereum platform to be more active once again.

I think Ethereum is still bearish as long as it is in the coinmarketcap sitting in the second place in the worlds best cryptocurrency. You know how the Ethereum started to create opportunity for other cryptocurrencies in the market through their smart contract. I think because of the ties it created between other currencies is strong. It can recover in the future.
It looks like the Ethereum will stay bearish till Vitalik will do at least all the promissed updates! First it should be a Constantinopol Hard Fork but Vitalik changed his mind and now he promise Ethereum 2.0 with Serenity update. If he did at at least, the Ethereum will easy reach 1000 Dollar again!
No one really knows when the bearish trend will end. When the bull run will start, it will not only push ethereum's price and capitalization but also to the majority of the cryptocurrencies as well. For now, patience is all we need and just keep on holding on.

It is not only for ethereum. Most of the crypto's are unpredictable and no one can give exact and accurate details on when this bearish trend will continue.We just have to put all the hope when bitcoin goes well so that each crypto's are going to share good fate of what bitcoin will be going through by that time. We're at the end of the year now and few more days until we'll see the result of Bakkt.

ETH like all coins is in correction and taking its position in the market. The market can not always be at the same level. No need to fear and panic, in December, everything will start to change for the better.

I just hope that by the end of 2018, the ETH value will increase to $ 1000. Just like that, I will not lose my job in the last few months, now I'm losing more than 60% of my invested capital in ETH.
Ethereum bear is strategic. I am very sure it is a deliberate attempt by those who control the market to keep the price this low and ensure that the all bag a lot of ETH on the cheap before finally pumping it back up. Recently, JP Morgan has come out to support Ethereum massively, this can only be because they have a key stake in the Ethereum project. I wouldn't be surprised if Ethereum pumps hard in the near future.
I think ethereum is also a big coin which means it can increase independently without depending on Bitcointalk. All we need for the whole market to increase irrespective of your altcoins is some set of good news that will spark up a bull run.

Because the price of Ethereum is influenced by bitcoin. Usually, the end of the year get a big profit, and you must invest to cryptocurrency now.
Bitcoin influences all the market as we know but ethereum still can move independently from time to time since it is such a huge coin and I think it will do it in the next months and it will recover some of the value it has lost, but this is not going to be a bull market just a correction in the price of ethereum but that does not mean that you cannot benefit greatly out of it. 
ethereum is only brought by the market, when the market falls, it is very difficult for ethereum to stay at high prices because at that time many people sold their coins including ethereum while not many people were interested in buying when prices were down but calm when the bitcoin went up people's interest in crypto will go back up and at that time ethereum will be back in demand and will be able to return to high prices
I think the bear market is general for the whole crypto market, not just ethereum and I think that when market recovers ethereum will recover as well and it will gain more profit when more people start investing in ethereum
I hope ethereum will show it's perspectives in the future. There are so many people who invested in it a lot of money so we just need to wait
I think that Ethereum can be in this state for another year, as well as the entire cryptocurrency market, but if Ethereum does not grow, it will be detrimental to it, since It has too many competitors.
My personal opinion is it will continue till whole market pump and till the ICO will start getting their hardcaps again. Coz people will buy ethereum to send it to Ico.
