Many countries regulating the bitcoin and making it as legal in this year especially. Honestly you can always say that same thing every single year. Even last year. The adoption just gets better and better as time goes by as well as the price of bitcoin. Early this year, the price of bitcoin just got really really good. And it's only normal for us to expect that better days are coming. Young and old, poor and rich, we are all looking for an extra way to earn money and bitcoin allows us to do that. Even those that don't have to earn money are inclined to use bitcoin. For example, sending money abroad gives you less hassle with bitcoin. And of course there would always be people trying to store their huge money. They want things to be safe and sometimes a bank is a no go. Depositing in the bank gives them an idea how much money you currently have. On the other hand, you can't just hoard your money in your house. But now you have bitcoin which is a good way to store value.

I agree with you regarding this fact that bitcoins are tremendously becoming famous day b day in the market and people are highly attracted by bitcoins especially for doing trading.

Merchants and retailers are now considering dealing in bitcoins and getting richer in short time with little efforts. Bitcoins have provided world not only new currency but new investment as well.

There is no doubt that bitcoins are evergreen profitable investments and they are going to rule the world soon.

I am sure in the coming decade bitcoins are going to be legalized throughout the world. Already many developed countries and developing are legalizing bitcoins in their states. I don’t think so bitcoins can be ever replaced by any other crypto currency.

It is quite difficult to predict, but we all need to remember one thing. None of the technological or digital goods last more than a few decades. Look at the CD ROMs. They were replaced by the DVDs. These DVDs were in turn replaced by the Blu Ray Discs. And I am sure that in the near future, Blu Ray also will be replaced by some superior stuff. The same will happen with Bitcoin.

It would take long time, because bitcoin will be more improved. Bitcoin last forever unless the internet shutdown. The popularity of bitcoin proves that it will last for a long time, and its popularity. Bitcoin will not end the reason is it spread all over the country and it become world currency. But no one knows how long could bitcoin last, we just need continue to trust in bitcoin an invest, and help to spread bitcoin so that it could last forever.

for me, the future is very important. I also believe bitcoin will always be well developed. and we hope we can survive that long time.

We should never forget WHY Bitcoin was created in the first place. Read Satoshi's papers ( https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf) , at the first paragraph is the definition of Bitcoin: Abstract. A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.
Why do you need another intermediary?

I believe that quantum computers will be very expensive and will only be available to the rich people. Like, really? You just bought a really powerful computer and your first thought is to destroy bitcoin? People are simply making money from this and we are simply making a community together, why would you want to destroy that? With the rise of quantum computers, a lot of digital stuffs can be destroyed and so as quantum computers become more public, it will be countered with some anti-quantum algorithm and companies, especially big ones and ones that involves money, will start implementing that on their system. If that's not going to happen, especially to something like bitcoin, then that can be the end of a lot of things.

Bitcoin has already overcome many critical situations and obstacles created by governments.It has recovered after Mt.Gox collapse,then now recently,it has survived when BU issues arose,then now BCU.We could not find any altcoin to be a future threat to bitcoin.Legalization issues has also not stopped bitcoin's progress.Only thing to be worried out is the introduction of quantum computing which would be introduced after twenty years.If bitcoin survives then too,then i hope that bitcoin would exist until last block mining of bitcoin i.e.,until the yea 2140.

Ofcourse no one can predict the age of bitcoin,but the value of the bitcoin is constantly increasing these times as well as sometimes the value of bitcoin falls little bit.when we research about the bitcoin statistics,it is doing much more better.As you mentioned there maybe lack of bitcoins in the future .so be wise and act immediately investment on the bitcoin will surely gonna be a better Investment in the future.

no one knows what's going on in the future so the crash that cause bitcoin can't survive may indeed exist and all speculation is on 1st august. it's better to follow the things that happen in the future.

Crypto is speculation, and basically all of the crypto still based on the speculation such as there is a lot of the ico that aimed to be the best one that still being a speculation. i will not believe the hardfork will be happening in 1 august.

Yes that's true, and most of the speculation by many here became true. Though, but sometimes it depends in the community who will patronize it very well. So, even no one knows how long it will takes but the community can give that answer, I think.

We don't know the time when does bitcoins could last. As bitcoin price continue to increase, many people will attract and push them to start earning bitcoin. And maybe after 20 to 30 years, there will a lack of bitcoins but it is just my opinion.

Well, I guess all of the answer of the member of this forum are just their opinion or speculations only about the existence of bitcoin. In fact, no one really knows of how long bitcoin will stand? Just all I know as long as their users or bitcoin lovers or investors buying it as an investment it will live forever.

Obviously no one can predict the exact age of bitcoins just like we can’t do that of humans but based on the history of bitcoins and our experiences with bitcoins, we can make some logical predictions and according to them I believe that bitcoins still have to flourish more.

Bitcoin will last way more than 20 years, the first crypto currency not lasting at least 20 years, is that what you think of bitcoin? Bitcoin is some thing which no one has ever seen or experienced before and it's lastingness will surprise everyone like it or not.
The price will crash, which will give opportunities to investors to reinvest, investors want people to sell so that they can buy, simple terminology used here.

How long? It will last as long as we're still using it. As time pass by, the number of people adopting and using btc will continue to escalate. That makes btc to live long. So, we are expecting it to last not just for 20 or even 50 years.

That is possible Bitcoin might reach 20 years or more span of time for as long the investors would still invest and support bitcoins and other currencies. We never know what will happen but as of this time i am encouraged to invest in bitcoin and hold it because it is worth the wait for bitcoin investment and i can sense that bitcoin price will go higher in the next five years.
