I think we can hold it minimum two years because when we go through maximum years then we get more profit on our investment. So always set your goal for long term investment.

depending on the situation you want, if you want to sell it at a loss then you can sell it closer to the previous price. but I have more patience to wait until the bullrun happens, it is not a while but I prefer to wait instead of having to lose.

maybe until bitcoin rises again. now I still hold btc and other altcoins because the price is still down. the thing I can do is just wait. sell now, I don't think it's a good choice
Maybe it's a matter of time. Maybe when the market price is going green then you should sell it . But for now you should hold it because the market price is not good.

Selling of any coin largely depends on the profit someone gets on it. It is absolutely unreasonable to sell your coin at loss. Once you get a reasonable profit on your bitcoin and other coins then you can sell.
I guess that depends on the holder and depends if it is already profitable to sell. If we can still hold it a little more longer, why not wait and hold until bitcoin go up again.
One should wait for sell till the profit is there, other wise you will be in loss either you do daily trade buy and sell same day with the rise of market and get profit or you should wait for good price for your coins, trading is not a bad experience only you have a keen eye on the market as the coin rise sell it, second way is to hold as long as the margin of profit is there.
I can wait as long as it take to rise for me to be more and more profitable. If the price is low I can wait for 2 years or more than that before selling it. Everyone that want to gain a lot of money than the one used to invest should know that no matter what, bitcoin will rise
