There is no specific period for holding but when your points turn green you cot an sell off. Once you are holding it does not matter the value you are not yet lose the fund till you sell off on red, that will be when you have lost. So you have to hold till you are sure of your profit.
I normally don't tend to get rid of my bitcoins too quickly. This markets assets are long-term investments, and by leaving it too quickly in most cases it will result with taking losses.
To invest in this market, you must maintain sufficient patience. Because the price of cryptocurrency has fallen sharply in this year's market. We should now continue to hold our cryptocurrency and wait patiently for the market to pick up.
I believe that people who are patient enough will eventually be able to make huge profits from this market. In my own opinion, I will have to wait and hold my bitcoin until the market price goes up but it all depends on how long will it be. Probably, maybe 2years from now. Till you get good profit, Yes you have to hold your coins till prices will go up and you will get good return or if you need urgent money then you have to wait the prices to reached atleast what you had invested.
for me i will wait on december or december 2019 bitcoin is forever and i trust and believe in bitcoin i have a patience

Keeping your valuables for long is called "investment," But if you can't wait any longer, then it's a choice, you can go ahead and sell your coin.
If you want to get huge profit then sell your crypto when the market is rapidly rising, also no one known when tha market to rise or fall because market is unpredictable, if you saw a little movement upward of the market then do selling, but dont expect to get higher profit because if you want higher profit, then hold your crypto until the market is increasing continuously. Patience is key if you want to sell your crypto in higher price, and sometimes it take a months before the market rise.

Everyone should wait as much as they want but my suggestion is to not sell when the prices are as low as they are now.Just keep holding and believe in 
For me, it depends to the holder of the altcoins. But it is better to be not so being greedy on profit. But still it depends to the coin that you were holding, if bitcoin and ethereum no worries just hold it until you want because its price will always go high.

I was stressed looking at the current bitcoin graph, it's just that I got a leak if bitcoin will rise in April - May. I am between sure or not, as they looked from bitcoin charts in the past year. Hope it's true, and I'll be ready to sell it.
There is no stipulated time for that. Before you enter any trade, it is always advisable to have a target and exit the trade once your targets have been hit. Either a profit or loss target don't enter any trade without a well defined target as it serves as a good guide to risk management.
That depends, there are some coins where u have to hold for a short period of time and sell to gain profit. but there are others like THUG Coin where u can buy and hold for atleast 2 years to make a 1000% profit, currently its cheap and easy to get, grab them now and hooolllddd for long term😍
There is no specific waiting time when it comes to selling bitcoin or your cryptocurrencies. If at anytime you feel you are okay with the current market price, you can sell. But my advice is that don't just sell at a loss unless you are very convinced that the project has been fully abandoned like the case of EJOY.
