2-5 million because i think bitcoin user in the whole world is more than 2 million so many people using it and many more can know about bitcoin and everyday many increasing the count of using bitcoin.
For me it's really hard to predict how many user in this world who using bitcoin even now if theres an new technology that will count of bitcoin user then we can say how much people who uses it from the start and what is the maximum age who using bitcoin. I know the volume of user who using bitcoin is continuously growing fast.

ahahaha, that is certainly true. All people in the world is surely going to be very difficult to do so, because in the bitcoin we didn't know anyone who uses it without them providing the information. Because if we use or count all purse or existing addres in the bitcoin can never ensure properly. that the use is 1 person and not the one who has a lot of addres. So, we can only guess how many. but certainly I am sure that in the future users will have more of the bitcoin now or 50% of the total population of the world is
As the bitcoin price show today i know that there are lots of people who using bitcoin world wide and other countries start unbanning bitcoin and they addopting bitcoin as they currency and for personal use, I know china is the biggest user who uses bitcoin everyday and also number and general source of bitcoin marketing.

5 to 15 Million of estimated amount of users seem like appropriate because we can see how the price of bitcoin grow higher and higher. One of the reason why bitcoin price goes up is because of demand and in terms of demand it needs a huge amount of buy orders or adoption which can result for getting the supply to become fewer than before and it reacts to the price. Bitcoin price hike is the result of the growing community of bitcoin users or investors and i think that it will grow even bigger after a few months if the price of bitcoin will go up to the moon.

we should not refer to it by the number of wallets are there in the different websites like block chain or any other wallet based companies .we should do it with that in mind that bitcoin users vary and it may be millions and it is increasing on a daily basis.

I'm sure the more than 700k users. let alone elsewherei believe only bitcoin users are below 2M because on blockchain wallets there might be alot of inactive wallets and there might other users make multiple bitcoin wallet. bitcoin users increase every day and bitcoin is the best crypto currency out there.
Yes, I think like that. I ever read an article that the bitcoin user around 2 million peoples, but is awed that makes the user a drastic amount of percentage in the last 3 years that is over 400%. With this data, in 10 years again will increase more than 15 million peoples that use bitcoin.

Assuming the words use and hold have same meaning I found a source https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.htmlclaims that bitcoin holders with more than 1 usd value are more than 5,663 million addresses. But I have two objections here. Firstly, the admin of this site counts btc holders taking under consideration their wallet exchange rate in usd dollars. But this estimation changes rapidly according the every day exchange rate USD/XBT. This number could be more close in reality if his estimation was in bitcoins. Secondly, as everyone knows most of us we have dynamic addresses more than one in wallet or more than one wallet.
The amount of bitcoin wallets is almost doubling per year. But will that equate to more transactions and a smaller or higher transaction fee ? We will need an increase in miners to handle those transactions but for the miners it would be profitable from the lowered difficulty.
Now bitcoin prices have more than $800, which will attract more investors to choose bitcoin.we will never know for sure how many bitcoin users. maybe just an estimate. I also do not dare to forecast how much the total bitcoin users today.
I could not count them accurately, but I probably could have predicted that 85% of the world population has to know bitcoin, and 60% of them have used it. I feel in between 60% of the world's population, so many people who have high positions in the various countries, which also uses bitcoin. either as one of the investment, or as a business.
According to the forum stats, there are currently ~917k members here, deducting those spam accounts and adding those not on this forum, I think the figure is more or less the same, i.e. ~1M.

For your figure it don't mean every address have positive balance are control by different people... Even satoshi himself have a million coins in 50 BTC blocks, which stored in different addresses (about 20k). I do not think that now matter how many people are using Bitcoin worldwide. It is important, what benefit it brings all these people, and for what purpose they use it.
I think the total bitcoin users will also affect bitcoin in the future, because I believe the more total users bitcoin bitcoin then development will be the better, by looking at the total bitcoin users growing, of course it will make us believe in bitcoin
You can't distinguish between occasional users and regular gamblers and traders. There are allot of people who just use the BTC in international transactions because the ease of use it provides. So I guess the count is between 15-20 mil if you add all of them.
