Some people has just known if bitcoin is similar with the trading forex and I think that is just a little percentage of the people is who fighting in the digital world. Too many people are saying the things if the digital currency is very bad to try them.

a few people might've heard the word but that's as far as understanding goes. i'd be a little weirded out if people around me were swapping coins all over the place.

In real life ? my family and couple of my friends but only as an payment method like paypal.Mind to share your thoughts..
Almost 60 % in my facebook account are bitcoiner, mostly they are trader and gambler, we always shared news and speculation about bitcoin and altcoin, event, and giveaway there are some group and community that i have joined, mostly full of with spammer spamming their ponzi scheme, but small of them that consistent and constructive talk about bitcoin.

No one knows about bitcoin in my community, family and friends circle. They use to ask me what am i doing full time online , that time i gave the details about my earning through bitcoin and some of my cousins have now started to get full details about bitcoin and started to work in this forum and now they are earning through their skill work as their account is new and they have to wait for some time to earn through signature campaign.

There are less than 5% of those who know about Bitcoin in my community. At first I tried to explain to total strangers what Bitcoin is and how benefical could be its usage, but after a while I almost had stopped doing this because people don't want to listen about things they have no idea of.
Yeah that is a big problem at a moment, as whenever I try to explain them they never show any interest in knowing it and have a feeling that they will loose their money in long run.

As for the statistic in my community, I think there are around thousands of people and only two of us knows cryptocurrency, I tried to introduce bitcoin bu they somehow don't know what i am talking about. As if they are listening to an alien language lol. I tried to show them videos and the actual application but well maybe it is not their interest.

In here my country very few people know about Bitcoin but its increasing our country manager of bitcoin foundation start seminar in our every state to reach people.I saw now more people are interested in bitcoin.I hope near future I can see every people know about bitcoin that would be great for us who use bitcoin. Mind to share your thoughts..

Well quite a few, and I got them all into it, pretty much. Some don't want to bother or simply forget about it later on, but a few have sticked, idk if they have accounts here tho

first let me give you my numbers which are only estimates.
0.1% use bitcoin and 10% know about bitcoin or let us say heard about bitcoin. the last number is also rising.
this shows two things to me. 1. it is still a long and hard road ahead. 2. there is a lot of potentail for growth and you are not to late to the party.
so i will make sure that both numbers are growing and i will do that by informing them good and keeping them informed and then let time do the work for me.

in my country there are so few who are aware of bitcoin and from those few mostly they are using faucets to earn some dust from them and never go anywhere more than that. and the rest who know a little bit more they too are only using bitcoin as a way of making money only not seeing it as a currency.
there are so few places that i can sell my coins to local currency as the result of this.

I don't know about that and especially for making a calculate about it because every people is having more than 1 address and a lot of people in my environtment is lack of knowledge about bitcoin, but i can for making a speculating if there are 100 people in my environtment i belive just there are a bitcoiners is 20% for total amount. Mind to share your thoughts..

there's no one,most of my friend just use internet for social media or any such thing that just wasting time actually,they don't even care about payment option,they just use what they know from people around,never trying to learn new things,thats why they're very slow growing their knowledge and mind to be honest

for in my neighborhood so far only me and two of my friends who knew bitcoin. but they are not so active to obtain or use bitcoin. they only buy when the need or when low prices alone and apart from that they rarely use bitcoin. so bitcoin not so well known Mind to share your thoughts..

No one except me, our social media demonizes bitcoin as ponzi scheme, multi-level marketing scam. I don't tell all of my friends I am a bitcoiner, or they would think me as a crazy criminal... Yes, it is China. Bans bitcoins and defames bitcoin since 2013.
i dont understand why people are taking this stance,but funny thing is all the major bitcoin mining farms are in china,does the general perception is to do illegal things
or the public doesnt care about crypto currencies alltogether.I dont understand why people in china think bitcoiners as criminals,can you explaing why they think like that.In my community? Not a lot that I know of. Tried to get momz involved, but she's not real interested. I mentioned it to several people I work with, and they find it mildly amusing but not something they'd want to try. But mention deep frying a turkey, and everyone has a story.
getting parents involved in social media is a big task let alone bitcoin
people are suspicious about new things and technologies that they dont understand fully,but they like to hear great stories and that is the fact

Honestly, I only know two of us who uses bitcoin. My friend who introduce me to it and then me. I didn't even bother to introduce it to my other friends because I would like to succeed on it first earning enough to show them that it really works and then I would introduce it to them. They are busy with their work right now and so am I but I think they will only engage in something if they know that its worth their time and I'm the one who always like something new looking for an opportunity so unless I can show it to them that they can earn from it then that's the time I will tell them about it.

Expectedly only a small number of people know about Bitcoin in my community. Maybe around 10 people?
If you think about the evolution of money historically, it took a really long time for the people to finally accept paper money as something that really has value. A quick google search will show that it took around 400 years for them to finally let go their gold and silver coins to use paper money. It was a very slow process so I believe it will be the same for cryptocurrencies. Maybe not as long but still long enough. It could reach 50 years before we could finally all let go of our paper money to use cryptocurrencies, and that is optimistically short because it could take a longer time.

I guess in our country bitcoin is not totally famous because we are in a develophing country. But if you want to know the statistics on how many people use bitcoin I guess in our population its 2% or 20,000 peoples I guess most of them are teen ager and an IT student. Some also are engineering students and VGD student just like me.

It's only me here using bitcoin, 3 of My friends know it but not interest. They think bitcoin is a ponzi scam, they don't really know about it and in the end, they don't want to know.
