im sorry but i guess your curiosity has nothing to do to help this forum,why not do some homework instead of asking this foolish question?if we give you the percentage what will happen?and besides no exact figures that can be given here since we dont even know how many people in every country knows about crypto

Well, I think most people have HEARD about it if thats what you mean. You ask someone if theyve heard of bitcoin and they are likely to say yes. now, the great majority do not know much more than the name, or know about blockchain bla bla bla... I wish more people were actually comprehending what crypto is capable of doing because it's changed my life and all I see everyday is unhappiness in the general public and all the complaining about the current system, but with 0 hopes for change while we all know that this is evolving fast and its way more than a "new coin". Most o you will know what I'm talking about, im sure
Answering your question properly...I dont know an exact number, but it has to be a pretty small percentage of the world that actually is informed about bitcoin and up to date as to knowing the name Id say 90-100% for sure in present day.
to know that it takes a survey and it can not know the total number of people who know bitcoin, because it can not be determined whether everyone who knows bitcoin follow the survey or not.
Well, while I am doing a research before I enter bitcoin I found out that there are 18% of the people in my country that knew bitcoin, my research was last year which is almost six months ago up to now, and I am pretty sure that the current volume of those people has been increased by now. I think, within the six months it reaches for about another 10%. At first, it's quite impossible that bitcoin will reach a lot of people but based on what I am seeing now, it's different from what I expected.
Indeed, that months from now, the volume of people getting hook with bitcoin will increase, we don't know the effect of it for now in cryptocurrency but let's hope that this will end up beneficial to all of us.

I think about 10% know about BTC mostly IT related people know about BTC other people i dont think so
There's a lot of people already know about bitcoin, lots of people using bitcoin in terms of internet transaction and other remittance centers. On the other side there are people lock of information about bitcoin. I guest we need to encourage more people and teach them about bitcoin.
Maybe, most of the people around the world know about bitcoin because it was published on the tabliods, newspapers, magazine and besides it was posted on social media. Many people know it but only few believe and trust on it. They thought that bitcoin is just a scam and others believe on it but they are afraid to invest. But eventhough there were many people who doesn't believe on it, for sure someday they will believe on it when the price of bitcoin will become $30000.
In my country not many people know about bitcoin. because bitcoin not legal in my country. so that why people don't know about bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not legal in my country, too but it is too hot so that many people have known about its existence. The more they read about bitcoin, the more they like it and I can say that 5% of the population has bitcoin right now. Damn. They do want to become rich with bitcoin in a short time

There's not that much people who really know about cryptocurrency because their government are hindering them to become knowledgeable by banning cryptocurrency in their country or creating fake news to put a dirt on the mind of other people about bitcoins.
I think a lot of people already know about bitcoin, because this has become world news through television and social media media. but most of them many are not interested and do not care.

It is very difficult to know how much awareness there is for bitcoin, if I remember correctly there was a poll some time ago in the United States about that and it was found that people under 30 years old were a lot more aware about bitcoin than those that were older, this makes sense, because that demographic uses computers a lot more than other people, but that does not mean those people have used that knowledge to buy bitcoin, the amount of people that hold bitcoin is even lower.

In my country its 2% out of 103M people. There are a lot of people who do not know bitcoin in our country. The internet connection is too costly and very slow. Some are not computer literate also.

As of today there will be only few people who will really know about bitcoins since everyone is focusing on working in the corporate world and people will not waste time studying on how the cryptocurrency really works and how they can earn profit from it.

As I can see now, I think that many people is know bitcoin because bitcoin is growing and growing and it is popular now. In my country, its really hard to tell how many know bitcoin currency, I can not calculate how many people engaging but I think many people knew about earning bitcoin, especially the students who wants to earn money while they are studying to support their needs this is a popular source of income for them. But in the near future people will be aware in using bitcoin because of its popularity and because of the growing bitcoin community.

Actually the crypto crisis can only happen this year, the decrease in stock in the street wall in my opinion resulted in the decline in the value of btc.
