According to certain statistics, there is only 1% people amongst all the people living in this world who are having some awareness regarding this whole concept of crypto currencies and are investing their money into it for the sake of having greater money in their accounts which can then help them in having some better living. This number is increasing but still it is a very time taking process and will take lot of time.

Due to the pseudo-anonymous nature of bitcoin, it is difficult to accurately determine the number of bitcoin users around the world. Nonetheless, there is data that can give you a rough estimate of how many individual bitcoin users there actually are.

Currently, there are almost 28.5 million bitcoin wallets that hold more than 0.001 BTC according to data compiled by Bitinfocharts.com. However, most bitcoin users have several bitcoin wallets and use multiple wallet addresses to increase their financial privacy when transacting in bitcoin. Hence, the number of bitcoin users is likely less than 28.5 million.

The most popular bitcoin wallet and exchange provider, Coinbase, reportedly has over 13 million users, which would suggest that the number of bitcoin users is somewhere between 13 million and 28.5 million. Given that Coinbase is available in 32 countries and that it has emerged as the go-to bitcoin wallet for newcomers, its user base number gives a better indication of how many users there are than purely analyzing wallet addresses.

Having said that, among the countries that are not serviced by Coinbase are some of the largest bitcoin economies such as China, South Korea, and Japan. Additionally, no bitcoin users in South America or Africa can use the company’s service. Given the growing number of bitcoin users in Asia, Africa, and South America who are using other wallet providers, the number of bitcoin users has to be much higher than Coinbase’s 13 million.

As far as I know bitcoin is already popular in any countries around the world.

only few of people in my country knows exactly what is bitcoin for, i would say that only around 1% because some of them only heard bitcoin but have not been encounter in internet. they only know bitcoin as a scam and hack. and some of them are curious and does not want to get involve.

There are 7 billion people in the world. As of June 2017, 51% of the world's population has internet access. So, that comes between 3 to 3.5 billion people. Now, among this, there are people who have heard about bitcoin i.e. they only know there is something called bitcoin. Having knowledge about bitcoin i.e. what it actually is and how it is used, is known to lesser people. And the people actually trading or owning bitcoins is less than that. It is supposed from the number of bitcoin wallets in existence that the number of people investing/trading in cryptocurrency is about 50 million.

I think all people in these world know about bitcoin but they don't know exactly what it is,

they just know about bitcoin because all media preach about it.

I think there is almost 60-80% of the population already knows about bitcoin ,
There are lot's of news about it recently and there are some people who are spreading the word about bitcoin through their social media.
So I think almost everyone knows it already.

I have no clear idea about how many people in the world know about Bitcoin. I think less than half of people in the world know about it.Bitcoin method is a new topic. Bitcoin has gained popularity in many advanced countries such as Europe and America.Again, there are countries like the United States that they do not know about Bitcoin. But now Bitcoin is being circulated through different social media. Hopefully all the people of the world will know about it.

There are only people who really knew about cryptocurrrency because the politicians today are already creating different bad news about cryptocurrency in order to reduce the popularity because their business are being negatively affected by the growth of bitcoins.

Majority of the worlds population are now using the internet and out of this majority i think more or less 70% have came across bitcoin. But take note that knowing is a lot different from accepting.

I think they are 70% of people that know about bitcoin or crypto currencies because of internet or what should I say is socialmedia's because of that many people know about bitcoin but 45% of that just ignored it so definitely they know the name but didn't know the history.

I read somewhere that it's currently around 30 million users. But, it's just an estimate.

Currently, I have not found any accurate data. But I can say if we see on this data https://www.statista.com/statistics/377382/bitcoin-market-capitalization/ 2017 is the highest market capitalization of Bitcoin. I believe Bitcoin user will increase in the next a few years.

I made a survey in a small scope in my area who can be said to be in the area of the village. of the 20 people, I ask only 1 person that knows about bitcoin. and it's only limited to know without him in studying and understanding the potential therein. This is demonstrating that they still do not know that there is a mine of wealth that they miss out on all this time and it is very unfortunate.

there are lot of people knows about bitcoin but mostly are not interested about it. bitcoin needs technology to use and they are afraid to use transaction using net for it may vulnerable to scam ang hacking... some factors  people dont have interest is that their are only limited establishment accepting the coin.. bitcoin is a currency, and a currency must be use to circulate to economy and must be use for transaction in exchange to the prduct and services...

I guess most people who have access on the internet all over the world knows about bitcoin. I mean we are all aware that bitcoin advertisements are scattered all over the internet, so it is not impossible for people to be aware of it's existence. Although, they only know some brief information about it because not everything is explained on those ads.

Almost people in the world  now are using Facebook, tweeter and google, Through them bitcoin  are well wide spread through internet. Sharing ads well of crypto through social media will attract people to open sites where they can invest  and join bounty projects. Some are not interested anyway and some of them just try their lucki of investment. Some of them also are being skilled  in computers that they are good in mining and trading, buying at low price and selling at high price.

Although they did not participate in Bitcoin, they have also heard about Bitcoin. Bitcoins are very popular, they are already in circulation in some countries. I think 60% of people around the world know about Bitcoin.

Everyday bitcoin popularity is increasing. Because social media is so developed now, the media will report when bitcoin surges or falls.

There's also the fun of sharing digital encryption money on your social network!

A lot of people know about bitcoins. Much more than 10%. But to know and use bitcoin are two different things. A very large percentage of people believe that bitcoin is a pyramid. They're hard to convince. There are many similar signs. Bitcoin is a completely new phenomenon. 

  Well i don't know how many people know about bitcoin but i'm sure that it will not reach half of the population all over the world there's still a lot of countries that is undeveloped and even those countries that is well develop with technology is not well informed with bitcoin, but someday i know that bitcoin will be known all over the world.
