I am not sure if i would count myself in. But i am seeing myself in quitting my full time employment if this Bitcoin would really out shine it. I mean, hey here in South East Asia, it is very hard to earn money, so i think money > almost everything, as money here may be equivalent to power. So looking forward for my luck in the Bitcoin industry.

Currently i am earning altcoins as well from faucets, and later on if i have enough alt coins, i will be exchanging it for Bitcoins, and try my luck to gamble or to take the risk of trade industry.

So to my fellow people, who is venturing to the Bitcoin.. i wish you all a good luck! May the odds be in our favor!

I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?

It is a good idea if they are already earning as much as they are earning in their previous day jobs but then I bet they are already earning as much or more since there are bills to pay and to provide food for the table. I have a friend who quit his job as well because he is earning more in bitcoin than in his job and he is much stressed in his previous job leading to his resignation. It may have lesser job security but it would be considered as a business because you don't have a fixed income when you have a business but you can earn as much as you want just like what bitcoin do.

It would be a bad decision if someone would quit and just starting in bitcoin because he may have a lower income and given the volatility of bitcoin price, he may earn lesser and maybe time will come when his earnings would not be enough to pay the bills. It would still be better to have multiple sources of income. If he can manage to have a regular job and earn bitcoin at the same time then it would be better.

I don't think it's a good idea leaving your permanent job and focus to bitcoin because the future of bitcoin is not stable even the value tomorrow will not stable you might lost everything if time comes that bitcoin is no longer a good venture well I'm not saying that it will die soon but you have to give surety for your future.

I do not have any idea how many people left their full time employment just for the sake of bitcoin. Because I don't even know how many people are into bitcoin. But as of the moment, I knew there were some but I think they have a lot of savings to use their money here in bitcoin. But for me, I will not leave my current job, instead, I will still work as well as to stay here in bitcoin. Earning both will help me and as of the moment I do not have yet bitcoin.

I almost did it recently but decided to go for some different prospects. If I didn't have a wife and child then yeah I probably would.

Yes maybe this thing will work if you're a single like you don't need to worry if you gonna have a money or not. But since you're a family man you can't let your family to starve. You think your family first than yourself and that's the real man. As for me I currently save up in bank so in time I will be able to quit my job and focus in bitcoin while having quality time to my family.

Yeah , there are Many people who left thier full time job and gettef into bitcoin work fully because and why not because they are making much in bitcoin than what in the practical life job , so why not they will go for such things .
Here personally i was courier boy with my student life but with the earnings of bitcoin i was much satisfied , so left my courier job and get into bitcoin .
And here it is not only my example but there are lots of people who are involved in bitcoin fully , one of my friend from another state was running his shoap but now he is full time trader ( unfortunately he want still make earnings from shop but people go at his shop for cryptocurrency deals ) , in the shop he is operating bitcoin full time , sohe is happy with thie condition .

The salary here in my place is very low. Crypto currency especially bitcoin gives us a good opportunity to collect more money than doing daily routine with our job. I am sure there are some people from my county who already left their daily job to focus on crypto currency.

I think this is not really a wise decision they have come up with. I mean, Bitcoin is really great both as a source of income and as a technology, but we cannot tell until when this thing is functioning, or at least functioning well. So I guess a job, especially a lucrative one, should not just be dumped because of bitcoin.

Interesting topic. Happy to see that people can afford to leave their jobs and focus on making a living through bitcoin.

Im a software developer and am actually considering doing this as well to focus on crypto related projects.

I regret leaving bitcoin for a long time, almost 4 years. That time the price is cheap. And now it's awesome.

My friend too left his job to focus bitcoin and me too i left my job to focus more on bitcoin. When the time i work to my daily job i never earn money from my salary. Becuase its not enough to our daily lives.
But when i joined here and focus here i earned money for my family especially to my kids.

Same as my friend also got end of contract from his current job,  but after that got into bitcoin earning and so far his not having an interest to be recalled as an employee for anothe job request from the company. He also decided to focus on bitcoin jobs to earn triple than his wage from the previous job. I think those people among them one of that is my friend is cannot be determined how many are and all I know is they're getting larger in numbers.

In my country, we have heard of stories of bitcoin owners, who already have bitcoins years ago, they had quit their job and started businesses in order to gain more bitcoins and now they are all multimillionaires, therr is also a friend of a friend that took out all his money from the stock market and within a year of investing in bitcoin,is also considered a multimillionaire. I was once a financial ad isor for an insuran e company, what we tell our clients is to invest more in retirement while you are at a young age so in time, your money would have grown when you retire. But financial experts beg to differ, they would advise you to build your own retirement plan, that is to make your income grow more even if you quit your job, most of them go to businesses in order to still earn income after they quit their job, some, those with a lot of money go to the stock market and just get their dividends every month, but what i see in bitcoin is if you already have enough, you can quit yuour job and still be worry free, since the value hasn't reached its peak yet, but is producing multimillionaires, this is a good investment. You can retire anytime you want, once you feel like you have more for yourself, and i think for most people who have a job and not a carreer or passion, the ultimate goal is for us to quit our job and retire as early as possible, and with bitcoin we can do that. I think for us to quit our job, we just need our way out, and this is it, we are all working hard and smart, but investing with bitcoin to quit it, it is working smarter.

When you have a job, you pay taxes for your future retirement, with Bitcoin, you don't. Let's say you go to make your money with Bitcoin for 20 years, what you will get when the time of your retirement will come? Peanuts, you will belong to the class below the poverty line...
The same with social insurance, etc. If you work for a company related to Bitcoin that's fine, otherwise, your "job" is at risk daily if I can say. When you have a family with children, you can't take such risks

Winding down.
I think there's more people now quieting there job and making full time on bitcoin because chance are big here in bitcoin! you can invest and earn double times your money by trading! I have friends already quit his job and now just work at home doing bitcoin and I want to follow his steps also, but for now that I only have few bitcoin savings and that's a difficult decision to leave full time work for now.
Me too.I have my friend of mine who quitted his job already and focus full time on bitcoin.Maybe he has earned lot of bitcoins already because he has done with that risky decision.Right now he's in the process of building his dream house. There is truly big chances of fortune if you make bitcoin a full time job.

It was a bad idea. You've already mentioned that Bitcoin is still volatile which means it won't give its user a stable income unlike a job could give. They should make a way in order for them to do both at the same time and to make a bigger profit. But it's hard to say that they are wrong. Bitcoin is indded profitable and wr can't blame them to be attached to it especially if they want a bigger profit.

You can't imagine there are so much people and I can say I am halfly in their list (I work in real life and I am in bitcoin also). Even bitcoin holding is a source of getting money back with some profit, trading is the best thing here also because bitcoin is best currency for that because of it's very changeable price and mining does a great sense to put your big energy in this. All these facts are reasons of why people go in bitcoin and imagine, number of such people is very high, I believe more than 60% of people here are like that.

As an example to myself, I have a good job, I do not think about leaving my business, I am interested in Bitcoin for about 5 years, but always making money is my background, I am following technological developments closely.
