I think there's more people now quieting there job and making full time on bitcoin because chance are big here in bitcoin! you can invest and earn double times your money by trading! I have friends already quit his job and now just work at home doing bitcoin and I want to follow his steps also, but for now that I only have few bitcoin savings and that's a difficult decision to leave full time work for now.

I also have few friends who left their full time job to focus in cryptocurrency trading and others here in signature campaign. For me quitting your job is not a good idea since crypto is still young but then maybe they already saved enough money to sustain their needs.
You are right, it is my thinking also that quitting job for bitcoin is not good. I always tell people to keep balance. And quitting job and moving completely to the bitcoin is an idiotic step. What if those people face any loss in bitcoin? There will be nothing to recover that loss. But if they have jobs then the income from that job can recover the loss. But still many people still leave their job to properly focus in bitcoin trading.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?

I dont know how many people have done it already but in my opinion, if bit-coining will exeed my income from a secular job i will also quit my job. It is true bitcoin is still experimental and very unpredictable but one could be wise enough to take advantage of the opportunity while it is still on peak and make other investments out of their profit from bitcoins into a more stable investments. So if bitcoin will crash they will not be left empty handed. Everything is risky but we got to be courageous and give a try than regret later for not trying.

From my own point of view this is going to depend on the kind of job one is doing, personally the job I am doing presently I am being owe backlog of salaries, if not for bitcoin that came to my rescue I would have been in debts now, I am preparing the ground to quit that job and concentrate fully on bitcoin after all there are many sources of bitcoin which I can fully embark on example trading and programming skill.
I have some skill in trading already and presently learning python.

Find a bitcoin related job is an ideal case. One good idea is to translate different ico to your native language. They usually have bounty program. And if you do it profesionally, it can make you a lot of bitcoins monthly.

I don't know people leaving their fiat jobs for bitcoin ventures ( Also I live in a place that not many might own bitcoin).
For me, I wouldn't leave my job for bitcoin adventures. Of course I can  still do both, and try to earn some bitcoin doing some side jobs as developing websites, helping in translations that would give me some BTC. I am also an holder because I do think BTC will grow and reach a great value.

I think the best strategy for bitcoin is just holding. It's much better than exchanging with altcoins. it's much better than buying ico using bitcoin. it's much better that spending a lot of time or quiting a job for it. Just hold, just leave it, not even think about it. wait a couple of years, and you'll sit in a fortune.

Presale is live!
I can't say for sure, obviously, but there is one guy who I read left his high paying job to start trading cryptocurrency and he has made over $300,000 profit on just one year.  Shocked

And there are lots of companies that are based on Bitcoin that make a lot of money so I think the number would be in the tens of thousands!

Those who can afford to do so can take the risk and jump in to the Bitcoin scene. But for me, it is extremely risky. I have a family to look after, and I need guaranteed salary every month. Considering the volatility with Bitcoin, it is a risk which I cannot afford right now.
Not many, but the users who have been making a good profit through bitcoin as well who has made a better profiting from the past days might be moving towards bitcoin full-time. Importantly in my view without proper plan going full-time on bitcoin us not good its better to have a diversified investment.

I don't know anyone personally who has done this, but it just makes sense that there are quite a lot of people who've started working with Bitcoin professionally.
Not just Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies in general, just look at how many blockchain companies there are or companies providing services for Bitcoin...

The job market around Bitcoin is only going to expand further in the future.

If I personally will not get rid of my full-time job, because my full-time job is my family's monthly financial expectations. Bitcoin will probably be my part-time job for the extra expense of my life. Unless I am dismissed from my job so I will focus completely on bitcoin for a while until I get a new job.

No one can give answer on this question in this thread headline. There are too many factors that we need to take in consideration, each of
us have a different life and lives in different environment. No matter how many variables there are same for most of us, first of all no one
leaves good paying job for lees paid and unsafe job. Not everyone of us is ready to risk, there are a lot safe players.
Who will leave a full-time job and move just on bitcoin? People that earn very little with their current jobs, people who work in bad companies
that can shut down any moment, and people with season jobs. On other side people who have knowledge and already making a lot of money
with bitcoin can think about leaving job if with more time they can make even more money here.

I know only few people who left their full time job or regular job to just go full time in bitcoin. They told me that there is a brighter future in bitcoin rather than to their job because their job is very stressful and it is time consuming even just going to work so if they will work on their home and just go full time in bitcoin then they can earn more money and have more time for their family bond.

It is fact, bitcoin has volatile power. Then automatically people attract with it. But to left the employment and concentrate on bitcoin full time, then i think it is also risky.
But on the other point of view, it is also right, Because not every employ has a good job and permanently job, that's why it is better for contractual employees to left the job and give the concentration on bitcoin.

The question is : Is this not a bit premature to leave your full-time job to focus on something that are not even properly regulated and technologically matured? Some people might argue that early adopters might gain the edge over their competition, if they enter early.

Would you risk a stable income from a full-time job, to gamble on a experiment that has not yet matured?

Props to those who had the balls to go all in on BTC like that and leave their day jobs. I'm pretty risk averse, so I could never do that personally. I've just been buying a bit here and there for years, watching the charts and trading a bit. Fortunately I have my own office at work, so my bitcoin chart addiction isn't an issue for my job (most of the time).

I considered trying to trade bitcoin and altcoins for a living a while back, but ultimately decided against it. Too much stress day-to-day. As much as I hate working a job, I just couldn't do it.

Leaving a full-time job and well-established position is a pretty radical decision. I personally wouldn't take the risk and I don't know of people who did.
But if you really and truly trust in this, why not attempt it? That is, if you are prepared to face all the risks and inevitable losses from time to time.

Even I don't know anyone personally who left their full time job to go into bitcoin nor did I do so but yes I know a few people who had had online businesses other than bitcoins but after they came to know about bitcoin they have now shifted their attention to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies more than their previous business and they have done it in way that they charge their clients for their services either in bitcoin or have completely gone into bitcoin and started business solely based or related to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
