, actually due to the competition in the market right now, hardly anyone will share their journey ups and downs because that will simply mean in encouraging a new site to be opened and this would obviously give them loss as the gamblers divide with each new site being created.

Actually it depends from site to site and the condition of a owner, creating a site can be done with hardly one bitcoin also, if you run a moneypot powered website. While if you want to create something like primedice ( which OP gave as example ) then I cannot even imagine the efforts and money used to get that sort of status.

It's true because if you have money you will just let the money work for you.

Indeed and actually no site starts rich they grow up rich as gamblers loose day by day. I think if someone is starting a site then around 25 bitcoins would be enough to start and then you can take investments too, while moneypot has made such things easy too since owners don't need their bankroll now Wink

10 bitcoin is just for starting capital if you really want to build a very good gambling site. Because base on my understanding, most of the gambling websites has 20-50 bitcoin capital.

And as the site is keep on running their profits are being invested again for their funds so that more and more gamblers are going to be attracted.

Because they know that the site is being established well.

It will cost big amounts for i think it needs 10btc or more ,creating a gambling site needs a lot of work ,workers to work on different section or games in every program and at first the very hard time in a gambling site is the amount of capital you have when starting .All the expenses are there from creating to paying on advirtiser and advertisements.

I think the bankroll should be at least 10 times of the maximum profit in one round. Aside from that, you also have to hire programmers, advertisers, designers, and a support team. I think that will all depend on the rate of who you are and how good you want your site to be. You can save money and study how to become all of this. In other words, you're the own who's going to create all the things necessary for your gambling site.

Seeing that you're in a signature campaign, I bet that you cannot afford to build your own gambling site unless you ask people for help or you get a huge loan.

I think if someone is interested to run a gambling site than it must need a unique script and a site with attractive graphics and enough funds to cover the winning amount there, I think around 100 BTC would be enough to run a gambling site with good way.

You'll surely need to have a big amount almost 20-30btc to start and have atleast a back up of 10btc if one player wons high amount.
But that depends on your game or you may set the highest winning amount for them to maximize your capital at first months of launch .You also need a 24/7 support to handle question a group who will protect the possible hackers that will enter and steal money from.your gambling house and the advertisers you need.

I think build a gambling site which made from scratch would cost you thousands of dollars, it's not easy easy to get positive response from the players with copy paste script and cheap hosting, because security is the very important factor for any gambling to be the successful and make profit for the owner.

To make gambling sites will cost around $ 500 to build the site. Not including paid services board gambling sites, due to build gambling sites I think need more than two people. It costs to make gambling sites but if your gambling site has many users you would gain a lot.

there is big difference between the cost for maintaining a big site like PrimeDice and support a large number of users, because for example the traffic alone requires a good hosting that will cost a lot more than a simple small dice site with 2 visitors per day.

it depends on what your final goal is. if you want to make something medium then start small from free scripts then work on it little by little and grow it yourself.
but if you goal is a huge site then you need a team of developers if you are not good at it and that will cost a lot.

I think that is a good amount already, what I can say is that if you want to start a good gambling site you need to have different budget for the promotion as well, the bigger you capital the better as people will trust your site if you were able to accept high rollers.

I do not know any exact numbers but I think it will cost you a couple thousand or even more because you need scripters/marketing/admins it will be a whole job to set something like this up.
It will not be easy at all if you are asking me.
