yes you can stop from gambling without money involved and those gamblers are usually play for the sake of fun/entertainment but for the gambler that plays for profit , he will also stop once he reache his targeted amount but he can also stop once he dont have a bankroll to play with . in case of winning the jackpot , its not guarantee that some gamblers will stop but they tend to play more because they think that they are lucky and they have now alot of capital to play with .

If I myself will definitely stop if it has reached or won the jackpot at least 10 btc. because my goal gamble is to target something until it is reached if is not reached I will not be able to stop gambling.

humans are so greedy, when they get the jackpot, they even want to get bigger. but if I get the jackpot, I'll spend the money to have fun and other things. but of course, after it, I will gamble again. because when I can get a big win, it will make me more addicted.
Even if you do not gamble again you will still lose that money in other ways, it is known that those that win the lottery and win millions of dollars go bankrupt just years after it, it is also known that professional athletes go through the same process after they retire, so if someone wins a jackpot worth millions of dollars he will find a way to waste it by buying stuff he does not really need, by making bad investments decisions or by gambling it away.

The question must be "How much money you need to lose to stop gambling" because a gambler has no contentment if they win big on a day on the other day they will pursue another much bigger winnings than the previous until all money has again back into casinos and the result your broke, I heard a news recently an employed man from stock broker nabbed for using investors money into casino worth almost $14m, huge money just to gamble into casinos see, he dont stop until he got caught.
that's right, we will never be satisfied with what we have gotten. moreover, the big win won't stop them from gambling, but it can raise the level of their bets, while always lose can make people stop gambling because it's quite tired of it, and I've stopped gambling for 1 year because always lose.

atleast a Million $ or so,then i will surely quit.i can manage to control myself from Betting so if chance that i will win Lottery Jackpot here in our country that amounting 1-5$million if the pot gets higher,then i can humbly say to quit and just focus in life and crypto trading,though i believe that CryptoTrading is also a gambling at some point lol. If you're into gambling so much, even though you win enough money you will not stop from gambling, because it's like a vice or an addiction to be exact, but if the person have control in his/her gambling it's possible, you can stop as long as you have a certain mindset or goal that if you win this amount you will stop, it actually depends on the person.

I'm not sure about the rest of the people. From my personal experience as a gambler I myself has encountered big losses and the hope of recovering loss keeps me spend on gambling. Personally I believe myself to be a failed experiment on gambling. If I've never spend into gambling I could've lived peacefully without debts. Now all that I spend on gambling is the debt that I have.This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.
I guess many gamblers have a hope to recover the loss in gambling, but they tend to keep playing until now. But to stop gambling, I don't think that we need to win much money because we can stop anytime we want. We should have to realize that playing gambling won't have the biggest chance to make money, so then we can stop gambling. If we see that gambling could only give another loss to us, we need to get out of gambling as soon as possible before another lose will come to us.

I don't think gamblers will stop even if they won a huge amount. If you are playing for fun nothing will stop you except if you are playing just for money alone and not entertainment and fun probably yes they will stop and live a comfortable life having an amount that can support your family for a lifetime. I don't think they will only stop gambling but working daily too, having a huge amount of money there is no need to work. But I believe if you are a gambler you're always be a gambler.
I believe it depends on the amount of prize he got and his personality itself. Some gamblers are really decent to their winnings and tends to gamble in order to make their life change into something better than they have right now. People who are gambling for fun also feel the urge to win the game as it gives them satisfaction than to lose or be neutral thus they slightly aim to make profit too.

in my case, one million coming from lotto is just enough to make me quit gambling, I will just get myself busy in businesses that I am going to set up, I'm not very much into gambling so I am ok to quit and never come back the one million is a life saving so I will not have to resort to gambling anymore.
Yes it is easy to say like this, but in fact you may not stop even if you win that amount. Stop gambling is not about how much we should win or how much we should lose first, but is all about our own will to stop. Nah, good gamblers should have freedom were at the point to stop, there's no need to say an amount that you should stop.
If giving me a chance and I won a jackpot prize I will come back and gamble again. Besides, there are more priorities that should be at first before gambling, your family. Probably if I am a multi-billionaire just because of gambling I will build my own gambling site or casino. No need to visit other casinos, instead of using your own.

I don't think gamblers will stop even if they won a huge amount. I need to win like $10 million, maybe I will settle at that time and will spend the rest of my life just making a tour of this wonderful world.
that is a lot of money mate,i don't think you can handle stopping gambling after having that much.maybe you will get more addicted since you have tons of money to play forThat's just my answer for now but we never know if we really can stop gambling if we win that amount because I believe it's already in the blood, a gambler is always a gambler, but maybe since I have a decent winning already, I might start to be less aggressive in gambling.

If you are gambling in lottery, the gambler will just stop if they won the jackpot but aside from that I don't see any reason why they will stop unless they don't have any money anymore to bet.
If you are gambling in casinos, I think a gambler will just stop if either they have reached their target profit already or they are comfortable enough with the profits they got from that day. Both of these need self control but most of the gamblers doesn't have it especially the word contentment. They don't know how to be contented with their profits and they become a greedy gambler until they lost all of their money.
It is not like that we gambles really have he option to set some goal or target that they can achieve through this game. So the idea of leaving gambling after hitting a jackpot is unreal. Gambling is a random game and it is rare to happen that some player gets his desired amount and afterwards he leaves. Like you said, they wont leave when they will have to bet more. When money is the play, self control becomes impossible. kind of mindset where you should play until the last drop of your money and since you do aim for money then even hitting up some jackpot

I would stop gambling if I am the lucky person who will win the jackpot and I am not that much into gambling so I would be able to stop gambling because when winning in a gambling is very hard. If you combine the total amount you gamble is it became so much money and if you compare it to the amount you won (except jackpot) then it's not the same.
