Gambling for me is just for entertainment, so even if I win a big amount I can't promised that I will give up playing, I will still gamble from time to time, I think even chronic gambler will not stopped it's part of their system, so I think it's not possible for anyone to stopped even if they win a big money, although losing a big amount will sometimes forced you to stop gambling

That is not possible, after the win, gamblers mostly play out of excitement and in hopes of making more. Besides it is not like that the winning are big ones. This is a rare case where a huge amount hits gambler. Most of the times, the amount is hardly enough for one time meal. Gamblers cannot really achieve their goals even if they set some amount as heir mark to stop playing this game. We're playing gambling for money, and people will not be contented no matter how much money he will have in gambling by winning. Gambler's often say they will stop when they get the amount they want but that's just a hoax, it's more like a joke to help them to subside their sorrows when they think about the money they've lost in gambling.

If you are gambling in lottery, the gambler will just stop if they won the jackpot but aside from that I don't see any reason why they will stop unless they don't have any money anymore to bet.
If you are gambling in casinos, I think a gambler will just stop if either they have reached their target profit already or they are comfortable enough with the profits they got from that day. Both of these need self control but most of the gamblers doesn't have it especially the word contentment. They don't know how to be contented with their profits and they become a greedy gambler until they lost all of their money.

I like to dream which are realistic at the same time.
I don't bet lottery most of the time so my chance in lottery is very slim.
Actually I like to make more as that is the goal of every gambler but I like to have it slowly but consistently, and I want to achieve that through sports betting. With my capital now, I think winning at least $1 million might mean a long journey, but if its possible, I would already be contented with that.

I need to win like $10 million, maybe I will settle at that time and will spend the rest of my life just making a tour of this wonderful world.
That's just my answer for now but we never know if we really can stop gambling if we win that amount because I believe it's already in the blood, a gambler is always a gambler, but maybe since I have a decent winning already, I might start to be less aggressive in gambling.

If a victory in a very large number is a requirement to stop, in my opinion it can be stopped because it cannot be denied the purpose of playing gambling is because of money besides having fun but still hoping to win as luck.
and if that person gets a big win naturally and unconditionally, it seems that it cannot influence whether that person can stop gambling or not and may be more ambitious to continue playing because greed is never enough and that is human nature.

Human nature can affect our desires on different things and without self control most people would tend to bet again and again after an overwhelming wins over gambling. There's no amount of money that can satisfy them, because as they get more profit, the more they fall with extreme and frequent gambling activities. It will only be possible once a person will decide to quit gambling after winning.

but for me?i dont need to have specific amount because i have management in life when talking about gambling.

It really depends from person to person and the way how he thinks. For example, my perception is that I have to limit myself to a certain target and will surely stop if I reach that particular amount of profit.
Whereas there are people who are a little greedy and tend to play gamble after gamble in order to take out more profits. These kind of people tend to lose eventually.
There are some people who gamble more and more but stop it after a certain amount of losses. So it actually depends on you and not the money.

Well, if you Google, recently there was a case of a primedice player who almost won 500 bitcoins and then he started to bet as high as 10 btc per bet and only lost all of it within 20 minutes. Which means he lost nearly 5 million dollars in 20 mins. That's how psychology works and cheats us.

We have different reasons why we gamble not just for money. I gamble to entertain myself when I have free time to do so, its my way to relieve stress even there's a money involve.
So im a kind of gambler that will not stop even I won the jackpot because im not only after money (though its a good thing to win) its my pastime when there's no work.

If I manage to get a nice and comfortable house with 2 cars, a sports bike and a stable business, I would say $10 million is enough money to win to have me set for life and never look back into gambling again. However, I don't play for the jackpot anymore and just play for the thrill of it, and I guess most of us here are like this. The more one chases the big winnings, the more careless and rash they become, and so the more gambling seeps into their very cores, causing them to lose and lose almost all the time.
To do all that you need a steady job and not pin your hopes on making all of that through gambling. Because sir that would be silly.
There is no certainty with gambling. Imagine you have collected 90% of the money required for your house and then the next day you gamble and lose it all. Imagine the shock!!
I say, instead you should have small monetary goals that isnt too easy and neither too far off. If you do not do that, then you simply are not willing to give up gambling and that is a fact you have to admit to.

I need as much money as I can to win before I stop gambling, but that will not possible as in gambling, I feel that it is too hard for me to win even for small money. But I realize that cannot make me stop gambling because if I win much money, the tension to try to get another winning will be there, and that could take me to play more. I think that is normal if human still want more even if they already get what they want. We never feel satisfied with what we got, and we still chase the other things. But remember, we as humans have a limit and don't wait until that limit is the end if we want to stop.

Depend on the person who do gambling. I'm not addict to gambling but I can control myself when it comes to losing. I remember when I played in Casino before, Ive brought 200$ and played some game for a while. I know its not that big but that's my budget for that day and just in case I lose it all I will not pursue to win it over by sparing another cash.
Most players even they lose they try to win it over causing them to lose even more. But in any case I win almost 500k$ I think I will never to gamble again and used that money into other investment like real state property or small business that I can handle.

I probably could since I am not addicted or having urges to constantly gamble. I used to have urges to gamble but all of that is in the past and I am free of that burden.
but for those big-time gamblers? anyone can stop gambling as long as they have the will to do so. but it would be hard for them but it is not impossible to stop except for a
weak-willed person.

Can't say for sure since I'm not that really a big time gambler or a gambler himself but one thing is for sure if he really want to stop it then make sure he has some best strategies to win it out then and should try it first rather than some hopeless speculation. The psychology is if we win we want more if we lose we want to get what we've lost, human has unlimited wants no one can deny that since he's a gambler that will be hard I guess for him to stop that habit.

If someone would want to really stop from gambling they should have done it already without making a promises. Swearing that you want to stop after winning will lead to addiction because as you know the chances of winning the jackpot is a dust in a desert.
Stop making promises if you are not ready yet to give up gambling. You need to remove that thoughts at the back of your head if you want to completely forget gambling. It might not be easy at first but once you felt that you're no longer missing the feeling of being a gambling addict then that's the success.

It is possible. Depend on ones personality if you are more hungry then you will dream of you won't stop until you drained the bankroll of owner. Mine is 10btc is enough and I will completely leave gambling games and move to trading which I think I have a better future and profit in the long run. Getting my maximum achievement will help me quit gambling and I guess others have the same idea.
