Force yourself. That is something that not many people do but if you are going to work long term then you should be forcing yourself. You are having trouble waking up early? Force yourself to wake up early, too early if you have to, that way you will go to bed early as well, having trouble finding food to eat, or can't decide? Force yourself to eat healthy, having trouble exercising? Force yourself to do it.
If you keep doing these for a couple of weeks in a row every day, it is going to become your regular day and it won't really take that much time neither and rest of the time you could relax. I have been working remote for so long and never been happier in my life.
There are always adjustments in every first times. It’s up to us how we can adopt in it and live with it, rather than focus on complaints and believe that it’s not gonna work anymore. Like when this pandemic hit us, working remotely has become a trend and I must say, it has worked for me after dealing on several adjustments. However, I believe that there are also some of us who never achieved their goals and end up in failure because maybe their environment is not conducive for working and if you have small kids around, they can really destruct our focus and left us working the hard way, the reason why some turn to be ineffective in their own works or jobs.
We do have to stop complaining about the problems that come, but we must learn to face every problem that comes. The faster we adapt to every
new situation that comes, I believe we can be successful in any job. Working at home has started to become commonplace after the pandemic,
indeed I also found it difficult at first and was not used to working at home. But all things will become accustomed if we dare to face it and do it regularly.
Since I have been working from home for about two years, I am now starting to feel the benefits that I get when I work from home.
But as you said there are actually many obstacles when working at home, it is not as easy as we think. One of them is that it is really troublesome to
work at home when we still have small children, I felt it when I first worked at home. That's why at first I didn't finish my work as well as when I was
still working in the office, because the atmosphere in the office made it easier for us to focus on work.
I then tried to find a solution that I would work at night when my children were asleep that was the initial solution that I did. But it's quite
inconvenient because I have to adjust my sleeping hours, then I found a better solution, which is to work in a room that my children can't really enter.
Until now after having worked at home for a long time, I finally started to feel more comfortable working at home than working in the office.
In the end as you said it all depends on us to adjust to new things, it will create comfort in the end.
