I believe Asic coins are the future, low market cap is also a good indicator as to what coin to invest in, but mostly DYOR.

As what everyone already replied:
1) Market cap
2) Price
3) Position on the list
4) Trading system

But do remember when choosing a cryptocurrency you need to know if you want to be an aggresive investor or a conservative investor. If you are an aggresive investor then go for ICOs. But if you are a conservative one, then go for the major or dominating coins like Bitcoin or Altcoin.

Everyone says trading is easy, you have to pickup a good coin and then invest your money there..Will you guys, please tell me how I know it is a good coin or bad? What certain things I should check about that coin? What types of information helps me to know the coin is good?

Not that easy.
Altcoins are so many.

Its specs is the key,
If the altcoin can make money by itself, it is another key.

It is cheap Smiley

I would say to follow your mind. Almost everything thatvis good, has bright future if there is strong back behind them, hope you understand what I mean. Choose coins, think why this one is better than that one, compare all of them to each other and also look developers and people behind it, as I already said, strong back means a lot. Poor developer with great knowledge and idea can't build something that will beat it's concurent.

While choosing a coin one should look for:
The strength of the team working behing the coin.
Market validation of the coin.
Market capitalisation and current price of the coin.

All of these things are needed to be able to choose the right coin. analysis and strategy in choosing coin is the most important thing and you should think when deciding which coin you want to buy and then sell it at the right time.

DeepOnion has just been released on the exchange and is set to do exceptionally well. Trezar is also one to look out for. Neo is a definite and I'd say NXS to but it'll need a while to recover. (Then again, which alt doesn't at the moment!?) As the rest of the guys have said though it's about really understanding the coin your investing in and also analysing the market. There's never 100% certainty though.

I never know how to choose a good coin. I just picked the famous coin and coins that cost a lot. Currently there are some coins that cost the most expensive in the market. Such as: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Zcash, Monero, and others.

Usually the coin is discussed and used as an investment tool. But for a new coin like the one with new ICO, I'm a bit hesitant and do not want to invest first. I just want to invest into a coin that is definitely profit just like Bitcoin. And for mining, I think Ethereum is the best. And also, there is a very unique coin called Dogecoin. Although the price of the coin never changes, but I like to use it for transactions. Because it can be free from the risk of profit and loss.

It always seemed to me that the choice of a coin is very hard work, but at the same time it makes sense to study information about the company and its prospects in the future. Then you can make a very good choice.

I always look from an easy point of view.
I choose a coin that's 3 or 2 years old, and is on a big and trusted exchange like bittrex. it's better to keep it from rising junk coins then disappear.

A new coin with passionate community might be good for shorting because there will be all sort of irrational trading moves!

That sounds very sudden man. Just having passion now a days doesn't work in the first place. You have to be careful about the schemes, fishiness and ponzi these days. The ICO projects special are getting weird now and they are trying to cheat many of the new user and oh yeah obviously they are passionate about it!

I completely agree that those qualities should be there but somehow there are lot many things which must recognised about the coin. First of all the team should be well know or at least there should be some public records on how are they and where are they from. Then comes the planning of the projects and the important dates about it. If we have those things taken into consideration then we can start moving further for investments.

The way to find a good coin:

Check out the concept of the project. (Remember 90% of startups fail)
The team. (get in touch, communicate with  some of the team members)
Find out if the projects have an MVP. If the only idea, not so reliable with some promises.

The project I work for has a great concept of co-creation. Check it out, you may find value in YUP tokens  Wink

Thinking on the higher plane of existence.

Also take supply/demand into consideration. Keep an eye on new coins that have a limited supply and are relatively cheap compared to other more established coins with similar supply limits (e.g. dash, btc, xmr). And like @trecore4 pointed out, volume and market cap is important. No use buying something that you can't sell.
That's why niche market of the coin is important. We should analyze if the function of that coin would be usable or not or if there is something better than buying it because these determines whether the coin will be in the market for a longer time.

No trading its not easy because you do search what is the good coin you may buy. Like you will see how many supply token of that coin the raodmap, website. If the coin have small supply i think it will be a good coin.

This point is good too. When the capitalization or the supply is relatively small will be a good sign but remember when you have an advantage, you also have a disadvantage as same time - the thing is, with small supply, that means you have a smaller group patronizing .That is to say, the maniputing tendencies would be very high too.
For choosing good coin you must observe the market value of that currency and the interest of the people and the investment ration every day. If you observer that this particular currency is liked more by the people and the total investment of this currency is increasing day by day, then it is obvious that such a currency is the most popular and is good for investment.

In this day I think that bitcoin is the most popular and profitable currency of all the other digital currencies of the world.

In reality we cannot says whose coin is better in all, because we cannot know what happen in the future.
Maybe we always need to wear our trust and confident to the decisions we been made especially on investing money to different coins.
Definitely all coins are close to risk because investing is like gambling that you need to gambled to know if you can gain profit or not.
The best way of choosing the best coin is to see the ranking of all the coins which are there in the world of crypto currencies. At present, the coin which is at the top of the list is none other than bitcoin. Bitcoin is indeed the leading coins and is the most popular coin in the list of all other coins. If you really want to invest in crypto currencies, then bitcoin is the best option.

Yes, This is the only way you can check which coin is doing best at time and which other coins are following it. You need to check the ranking of digital currencies from authentic sites. As far now, the best coin is none other than bitcoin.

Bitcoin is being leading coin for last few years and is continuously increasing in value which is helping this coin for becoming legal in more and more countries in short time.

I think the most profitable coin in the world in these days is bitcoin only, because the price and market cap of bitcoin is growing more and more and so is the profit. There are many other coins in the market available for sale but the people trust more on bitcoin.

Everyone who invests his money wants a quick reward of his investment and for that he will have to buy bitcoin because other coins are very slow in progress.

Now it is not so easy to find a good coin. In connection with the saturation of the price of bitcoin, the fall of alts and other shocks, all this passed with global changes. Therefore, I advise you to wait until people settle down for a bit or the interest in the crypt disappears.

it is now possible to earn 5% - 8% daily. Not more. But it is quite dangerous. You may lose more.
The best option seems to stay in bitcoin until 2018.

It is no longer easy to earn money from BitCoin like the old one, and a new adventure awaits us in 2018.
Exactly if you compare the performance of bitcoin in last 3-4 years with its basic developing year, you will be noticing the total 180 degree change. Before last 4-5 years it was so easy for anyone to get into this world and earn bitcoin. But for now, saturation have taken place. Everyone is getting into it and making huge investments, causing the profits reduced as compared to old ones.
