what is the reason about convincing others? I think that every person can think for himself accurately and no one can convince others to participate in any field. If you want to avoid all individuals to blame you then do not force them because their losses will always be present in their minds.

If you want to teach some individuals about bitcoin and help them to make investment to make their lives happy so you can just give them a brief details about it but you should never force anyone because that work in which an individual is not interested they hardly get profit.
If you wish to teach someone about bitcoin it is good to suggest them to go through few articles and other sources that make one learn about bitcoin. After that if they've learnt something and have interest to invest, then just guide them. We should never keep on insisting a person to use/invest in bitcoin.

When we think about making a person learn about bitcoin, the prime focus need to be on making the person buy a very small part, and further he/she will buy as she knows the real variation taking place with the investment.

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
I don't think I need to convince a skeptical person to invest in Bitcoin. I will not go forward suggest that "person to invest in Bitcoin". If ever any such person comes to me for suggestion or advice then I will say him the positive sides of Bitcoin, if he likes then he will invest in it, it totally depends on his intelligence. And I will definitely add one thing, invest in your own risks and also as much as you can efford to lose. And this is how I will convince a sceptical person to buy bitcoin , Grin

Convincing a sceptical person about bitcoin is difficult because he does not have heard about cryptocurrency and if heard then he will not easily trust it. I think that old man are more sceptical as compared to the young one because the old people don't give any value to the online work.

A person can trust if he examine your rate of achievement so no one will easily understand about it. If someone understand it so convincing them is not easy because lots of people are afraid of its risks. I think that convincing is not necessary just give details about bitcoin if they desires they will invest if not then leave them on their own thoughts because they will have more accurate thoughts for themselves.

We can introduce bitcoin to anyone but w should be careful bot to force them to invest in bitcoin except when they are good enough to receive the required standard needed for them to begin, it is also very important to let every beginners understand the need to why they should invest and take the decision by themselves, know that everything involves going for risk in life and it doesn't matter if they they invested earlier or not than learning about what to invest first.

I can never convince somebody to use bitcoin currency because of the risk involved, but there are other things you can convince others to do, not bitcoin. Bitcoin, on the other hand Is where you put your life savings money/funds in the hopes of making a profit, what if you convince them and things don't workout as you told them.? All I can do for someone is teach them about bitcoin, how it works, and the risks involved in it; if you try to convince them, they will not even listen to you, which is a waste of your time.
The only method to transform their negative opinions about bitcoin to good ones is to educate them about it; however, you must be informed about what you're teaching to prevent giving them inaccurate information.
I don't think you are responsible for changing someone's mindset towards bitcoin, especially when they are skeptical of it.
There is no point in convincing them, educating them, forcing our point of view to be accepted and whatever. They will remain skeptical of bitcoin because they are not inherently people who like decentralized financial systems.

I tend to think of saving more energy for more useful things rather than changing the mindset of someone who is skeptical about bitcoin. There is nothing to argue about because in most cases they will not change their mindset for a long time and continue to insist that their point of view is correct. Let me say, leave them in a centralization corner.

Skeptical or not. We need to create awareness one way or the other. A skeptical person can be convinced.

It is okay to be skeptical. This is an investment and we should not just dive into any investment without critical thinking and personal research no matter how little, I will say do not be pushy because when you are pushy, it may send the wrong signal. Be a teacher, especially to some with zero knowledge of Bitcoin, not spoon-feeding tho or communicating the nitty-gritty but education. If you want me to invest, you need education me and this cuts across all investment classes.

Even a rigid can change their mind to buy. All investment has its advantages and disadvantages so it is important that we mention the pros and cons of Bitcoin. The most important thing here for me is that if you're skeptical, then do your personal research and see the success stories. Convincing a skeptical person is not a waste of time but a way to impart knowledge and awareness in this regard.

I see Bitcoin as a revolutionary investment.

It can be used to diversify more traditional assets.

There's no point in convincing people to get some Bitcoin really, in the same way that there's no reason to convince someone to buy some index funds.
precisely! as for me, i am not that kind of person who persuades other person even if they don't like it just to raise awareness. initially, there is no way that other person will really do what you told then to do specially when we say there is money involve, and even if they do, they will keep on bothering you asking when are they going to earn the profit.

Convincing someone with cliched theories is a bad idea and just a waste of both of their time. I failed to give advice without any real proof. Instead, I showed them off by showing them how my life is changing by investing in bitcoin. To be honest, since then they started to trust me, but since then I am no longer interested in teaching them to invest because it is not my responsibility. Don't try to convince someone if even you yourself don't have any benefit from investing in bitcoin. Our society is very pragmatic, if you don't have results, then you say no one will believe, and vice versa.

I agree basically a skeptic is a person who hasn't believed in it enough but who can be converted or directed in the right path.  You can convince a person in a thousand ways but for Bitcoin you need education and (personal opinion) you don't need to show the speculative side but only the technological-social side that this protocol can do.  Only if you can understand well how it can make you free then you can accept it.

No need to convince people to buy Bitcoin, rather educate them what will be the advantages and disadvantages of owning a Bitcoin. Proper education could lead the people to do their own research on how they can benefit and what kind of risk they are trying to get in. Bitcoin is for people who have a very high risk tolerance in volatility. Always emphasize to them that they should only invest what they can afford to loose and set aside greediness.

Convincing others to invest in bitcoin is really a bad idea. Even ourselves, we would never invest in something we don't believe in. So instead, educate them about bitcoin, give them all the basics, and when they get the hang of it, they'll know what to do next. Many people don't like to invest but can also use bitcoin as a currency, don't just advise them to invest when they don't like it.

I believe that providing them with education is the best thing you can do to help them avoid falling victim to these con artists that use cryptocurrencies as the foundation for their Ponzi schemes. Regarding persuading, you are correct that it is not a good idea to do so because the market's volatility could cause the person to lose his temper and place the entire blame on you. The best thing you can do is to tell him everything and to make sure he understands how unpredictable the cryptocurrency market is. You also need to clear your name of any guilt by distancing yourself from any decisions he might make after you've given him the knowledge he needs.

Yeah, I think simply pointing out the basics of Bitcoin and pointers to where to get more information, like the whitepaper, etc, is enough.

I don't think anything else is needed. When people keep pushing something it feels like a scam, altcoin.

I guess it's totally normal for them not to believe in it I mean, why do we even believe in Bitcoin? Because we know bitcoin we know its potential, we know the market, we know its structure, we have experience on bitcoin, maybe because we already earn on bitcoin, etc.

If you are someone who doesn't believe in Bitcoin maybe because you don't know what it is right. So the best thing to do is to teach them about it, which might change their perspective on Bitcoin. I agree that education is needed and could be a good thing if it's going to be taught to students or even in seminars, but sure the government will not teach Bitcoin because they support banks.

Completely agree. And I say more. I am in favor of introducing principles of economics in schools from early ages. And when I say principles of economics I say to let people chose between Keynesian school and Austrian school (Ludwig von Mises), because what is taught at this moment is all based in the Keynsian school which is completely the opposite of Austrian school and that only serves the rich, socialism, capitalism, families and friends.

Youngsters need to know about the aternative aspects of other economic ideals and learn that Keynesian may not be the best choice.
Also, I'm in favor of introducing Blockchain technologies and Bitcoin in Technological classes like Computer classes that kids have from early ages!

But of course that this would jeopardize the monopolly that the states have with the actual model of politics, economics and all that comes from that such as power and means to control the weak links of the population!

I've never understood why people are trying to convince (force) someone to buy bitcoin. If a person doesn't understand the meaning and value of bitcoin, then even if he buys it, he will regret it and sell it very quickly to buy some things.

There is no need to force people to buy bitcoin. We need to provide them with more resources and information in an unobtrusive form so that they themselves become interested in bitcoin and want to buy it.

Many of those who do this do not really fully understand bitcoin themselves and therefore want to involve others in order to feel that they are not alone in doing something that they do not really understand. Ordinary psychology. If it is intelligible to explain what bitcoin is, what features, advantages and disadvantages it has, then, of course, let people decide for themselves whether they are interested in it. And in fact, there are many people who are not ready to be responsible for their own money, they do not know how to live without delegating authority to a third party, and it may turn out that bitcoin is not suitable for them, but let them decide for themselves, being fully aware of the fact of what is bitcoin.
