It's true that not everyone will be convinced to believe in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, and that's okay. It's important to remember that each individual has their own beliefs, preferences, and risk tolerance. However, for those who are open to learning more about Bitcoin, providing clear and accurate information and answering their questions can be helpful. It's ultimately up to them to decide whether they want to invest in Bitcoin or not, but it's always good to share knowledge and offer guidance to those who are interested.
forget those who do have negative thoughts about Bitcoin and other crypto investments. educating them is useless, it will only lead to ridiculous arguments.
just leave them and never get involved in such discussions. just let the market that will provide answers to their disbelief. and for anyone who believes, we can stay focused and enjoy what we believe.
You're right mate
Most times it really seems very difficult telling and educating newbies about Bitcoin especially those ones who in one way or the other might have gotten some negative news about Bitcoin and then find it very difficult to invest because at the end of the day, those conversations mostly ends in arguments which could simply be avoided if the conversation was ignored.

People really have to be educated about Bitcoin because there are a whole lot of opportunities in this industry and I think the industry is very very undermined and it wouldn't be a bad idea if we get more people with the right mindset into Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general.

Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency surviving more then a decade. Because of the survival tendencies, many people hold their assets in bitcoin till now. Now the price of bitcoin had increased again with the completion of first quarter of the year, So expect the price of bitcoin will increase to 32k dollars in a upcoming months. If you want to convince him, you have to show them the total history of bitcoin since 2013. Bitcoin is all time needed crypto currency due to the survival potential. Say him, if they want to save any assets for their children ask to save assets in cryptocurrency. Ask them to save in Bitcoin if possible to get huge profits in long run.
At the moment the price of Bitcoin has touched the 30k benchmark in the last 24 hours and Bitcoin even managed to stay above that price for several hours before it corrected back to the current price of close to 30k moment the last time I checked the price chart it was close to 29,900+ which is close to that region of predictions.

If Bitcoin builds the needed liquidity to stay above that price for over a week, it will become easy for us to forecast more price uptrend prediction but at the moment many market speculators are sceptical about the price ability to stay at that region or possible increase to 40k any moment.

When I think about convincing someone, first thing I do is to check how good that person is with the basic concepts of internet, computers, etc. If the person has 0 level of knowledge, I don't even try.
Then, I start with small steps to see if the person is minimally open to listen. Then, if things go smooth, the orange-pilling happens by itself!

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?

I think the greatest way to let a skeptical person invest in Bitcoin is through your lifestyle especially if you're already doing well in tye Field before inviting the person..
People believe more in the things they see and not what they are told except you are ready to be held responsible just incase things don't go as planned.

Personal result is the best thing to convince skeptical people.  I experienced once that I shared Bitcoin to my friends but they ignore me and stated that it is difficult to get involved in Bitcoin investment because it looks like a scam since there is no central authority.  I did not convince them and continue with what I am doing.  Then years later when lots of good changes in my life happen due to engaging with Bitcoin, they are the first to contact me again and asked about how to start engaging in Bitcoin.  Well, obviously, I told them how to and give them links.

It's not usually easy to get to convince people to accept new things especially with regards to especially those ones that might seem complicated like Bitcoin and has no guaranty but rather has more risk of losing money.
Since you already mention doing your own research, also show them proves of what you've ever told me.

Yes most of them think that Bitcoin is some kind of scam or Ponzi scheme.  They jump into a conclusion even without researching what Bitcoin is.

Well the most people I know have heard of Bitcoin but they do not know how to even get some. There are some people who are good with investing who tell me 'who owns Bitcoin' and 'what if I lose it'?
Still confusing for lots of people. To convince I talk about things that do matter for most people, that is money. To make money with buying Bitcoin since it is lower now before we see all time high again. If a skeptical person buys now this person will have double the profits when we see all time time again.  This is best way for me to explain it to a new person I want to convince.

If a person does not understand the basic principles of bitcoin, there is a high probability that he will not earn, but will lose on the next bearish market trend. In order not to lose, you need to understand "who owns bitcoin", and why it has value, and what are the prospects for its development and adoption. Therefore, it is more important to convey truthful and accurate information about bitcoin to a person than to encourage him to invest in bitcoin. If a person understands the main thing about bitcoin, over time he himself will be able to make the right decision.
Only teach into those people who are curious and does have the determination to learnt up things because there are ones who are really that eager on learning up which it would be worth on teaching them.
There are ones who do just simply smirk up and turned back on the time that they would be seeing that it couldnt be beneficial for them or something that it is really just that too risky for them to deal with.
So its up to yours on which one you would really be choosing up whether if you do have the right time on dealing and teaching up things or you would be simply not be bothered
if ever there's someone whose interested to learn. Some people doesnt really like to be bothered at all.

Even earlier than 2013. The beginning of Bitcoin is quite relevant, because it's different than pretty much anything else.

There was no pre-mining, everything was done just right, and it had no value initially. It grew organically, it's a bit of a miracle that it actually worked initially. Now it's not going anywhere, but in those early stages it was very fragile.

Knowing the early story of Bitcoin allows you to understand it in a more profound way. There's way more than just the price.

First of all, why would you be convincing people to invest in Bitcoin?

I feel the same as you. I tried to convince many people to buy bitcoin in early days. Now I feel that you can only teach them about bitcoin and after that they will have to decide for themselves. Honestly many people do not understand bitcoin enough to trust their money into this system. Still everyone should know for themselves.

This is the safest method to promote bitcoins and to avoid the blames of the people once the market is currently experiencing volatility which most of the newbies panic when they see it. The only thing you can help them with is to share with them some knowledge you have learned these past few years from this community especially how to prevent themselves from getting scammed from these multiple tactics by crooks and scammers with their Ponzi Schemes. Other than that is up to them to decide because it's really hard to even for ourselves when it comes to investment, especially with money.

I totally agree with these, sceptical persons on bitcoin investing will always found arguments just to make them don't go forward with the decision of investing into it. The only thing that we can do is just educate them with your first hand experience and let them know all the advantages and disadvantages of investing into it. They should first know what they are entering to. So that, the final decision would be coming from them, and we have no way and any rights to force them to buy when it's against their understanding and assessment. It is their money to invest so they have all the right to be sceptical, so you don't have to suggest right away a decision to invest, just present all the positive and negative facts about it. It is really a tough decision when money is involved since it may be part of your hard earned money so we all should be cautious on every decision that we do and always do your own analysis based on different information regarding it.

I just do not get the reason as why we need to convince a sceptical person to buy bitcoin when he do not have any willingness to buy bitcoin. I would never force a sceptical person to get into bitcoin on my advice. The simple reason being that if he will invest in Bitcoin on my advice and if bitcoin is dumped after his purchase he will be after me that i am responsible for his loss or his portfolio is down only because of me.

Teaching Bitcoin to a skeptical person puts you in a lot of danger. So you stay in your place without teaching the skeptic about Bitcoin. When that person comes to you to learn about Bitcoin on their own, you will be the one to explain Bitcoin to them, and you will be in more danger by explaining it to them. Especially I always stay away from such person. I will only teach him about Bitcoin if he shows interest in me. If I had to teach such a person about Bitcoin, I would show him all the activities of Bitcoin. And I will completely cure any doubts he may have about Bitcoin.

I think what you said is right, indeed Bitcoin has the advantage of being fully decentralized or not affected by third parties such as banks.
Even though Bitcoin has been around for more than 14 years and consistently shows its existence, in fact other people still don't believe or won't be able to just believe in things that are new to them like Bitcoin.
What's more, we only introduce Bitcoin to them only through our arguments without any proof of what we have gotten from our activities while using Bitcoin, it will not be able to convince them.
There are many factors that affect them not being able to believe in Bitcoin. Like the negative issue of Bitcoin it's a ponzi scheme or fraud or Bitcoin seems something complicated to understand for people who don't understand technological developments, and maybe there are many other reasons related to the high risk that exists when using Bitcoin.

Sometimes some ordinary people still think Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme or fraud and some people will see that Bitcoin still looks very exclusive because most of them feel they do not have the ability or basic knowledge of technology to own Bitcoin.
If we want to tell people who are still skeptical about Bitcoin, it won't be easy, it will require a process and time and there must be real evidence of what benefits we get so they understand and believe.
I say this because maybe subconsciously all of us here used to be people who didn't really care about Bitcoin before, right?
But in the end, we have our own reasons for trying to enter the cryptocurrency world and trying to get to know and invest in Bitcoin.
I think as time goes by eventually everyone will try to take advantage of Bitcoin, we just need to continue to spread our knowledge about Bitcoin and focus on proving our success in Bitcoin, then naturally other people will be interested.

First of all, why would you be convincing people to invest in Bitcoin? Allow them to have the initiative to do so. We are all taking the risk in this industry given that there's no certainty of what will happen to this market for the next days, months, or years. Convincing ain't my thing; you'd be blame from doing so once they fell to something which would yield to a negative outcome.

Next is, a sceptical individual doubts everything unless proven. Validity and feasibility of something will be questioned and just imagine how much time you will need to make them buy something; they'd more likely have huge assumption if you ever managed to get through them. Keep in mind how hard it is to endure market price downfalls. If you know to yourself that the individual you are trying to convince won't be patient and won't be capable of financial endurance, then consider not pushing them in this industry just to safezone them from regrets.
I believe convincing a skeptical person isn’t worth of our time because no matter what we say or how we educate them, they will never believe unless it will be visible with their own eyes. And no matter how we will explain bitcoin to them, at the end of the day, they will still criticize it in a negative way. That’s why convincing isn’t my thing too. If they want it, they will surely make an effort to research about it and then take risk after once they are convinced with its potentials.
Not really worth of our time and also its not really that something that you could really be able to convince them up and instead on focusing into other things, you would be
diverting out your attention into something which it isnt really that important unless if there's someone who do get interested and curious about it then i might consider
on making up some explanation but of course i would be saying up about those basic examples and ideas on what it is and something that would be easy to understand.
Convincing is hard because on the time that they would be losing money or investment then they would really be mainly be blaming you.

About them, I just don't bother to make them understand and acknowledge what the truth is, it's just a waste of time. Neither of us need to force someone to believe in bitcoin when they don't like it, so better leave some people like that and move on with others.
Yes, the best way to convince the sceptical people about bitcoin is to allow them be and let them see the results and hear the testimony on their own. A sceptical person may believe that you have something to gain by trying to convince them to buy bitcoins, leaving them without over stressing them to join will show that you only had their interest at heart and nothing to gain. If a sceptical person forcefully starts using bitcoins because of you, they will blame at every opportunity.

There are several other reasons why Bitcoin can be a good investment and a sound financial choice. i.e., Decentralization, Transparency, Security, Limited supply (As there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins in existence, which means that it is a scarce asset), and Low transaction fees. Overall, these are just a few of the reasons why Bitcoin can be an excellent financial choice.
I've come across some people who don't believe in the long term potential of bitcoin. One of the assumptions they make about bitcoin is that it's just a money game that will eventually turn out to be a scam. Someone set up bitcoin and its network to make it valuable, some kind of giant ponzi scheme. I know you all will disagree with their assumptions, it happened to me too. Obviously I know their assumption is wrong, but they stick with it even though I've explained how it works.

About them, I just don't bother to make them understand and acknowledge what the truth is, it's just a waste of time. Neither of us need to force someone to believe in bitcoin when they don't like it, so better leave some people like that and move on with others.
