People need results, I mean, have you had any successful results investing in bitcoin? If so, show them, as that will be the most convincing proof of your statement. People will only listen to people who are better than them, richer than them, if you don't have money, lose to them, they will never believe you no matter what you do. You have an income of $2k/month, you can't give investment advice to someone with an income of $10k/month.

If you want to help people to understand more about Bitcoin and the underlying blockchain technology, there are some things you can do.

First, your own education first about Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. By understanding the basic concepts and how this technology works, you will be able to answer questions that skeptical people might ask.

Second, share your own experience about investment in Bitcoin. You can talk about your experience in investing, how you study the market and make good investment decisions, and the results you have achieved.

Third, invite skeptics to learn together with you. You can invite them to read articles or watch videos about Bitcoin and Blockchain together, and debate various views on this technology. Finally, remember that investment always has risks. Make sure you provide accurate and balanced information about Bitcoin and talk carefully when discussing investment with other people.

I've never understood why people are trying to convince (force) someone to buy bitcoin. If a person doesn't understand the meaning and value of bitcoin, then even if he buys it, he will regret it and sell it very quickly to buy some things.

There is no need to force people to buy bitcoin. We need to provide them with more resources and information in an unobtrusive form so that they themselves become interested in bitcoin and want to buy it.

I don't see on the OP Aany wording stated that he convince someone by force. Sceptical person usually has a lot of questions and concerns. Probably this is what the OP trying to answer by the word convincing someone. It's not that they completely don’t like but they are just afraid on the risk involved that is why they don't want to invest. A proper explanation can turn this skeptical people to a believer since Bitcoin has all the feature required as trusted investment in long term.

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?

So aside from giving a quick value drop which I like to tell the average no corner is to just look at what happen3d to Ukraine just recently and how they just shut down all the banks. Mile long ATM lines practically. That's just a point prover, you would state after of course you mention the being in full control of your own funds and be your own bank but the long term growth potential due to the inevitably of all banks failing and causing depression or even hyper inflation. The hedge against inflation point and the sheer fact that it is completely off the corrupt banking system, decentralized, and under the constant operation and security of all nodes maintaining the same code and chain for all transactions which can never be deviated without full consensus. Also tell them they should have already researched it and should have already answered all these questions themselves lol its very apparent to anyone with a brain that bitcoin is advantageous to literally everyone..

That's right.

Forcing people to buy bitcoin will even make bitcoin look like something bad because it's forced. They'll think like the typical thought of many about bitcoin that it's a ponzi, it's a scam because these encouragements are on the wrong timing.

They want people to buy bitcoin so fast as if there's no tomorrow. We understand the urgency that we're pushing to these people that they shouldn't miss the opportunity.

But, we need to let them understand first what's bitcoin so that it won't look bad as their first impression towards forcing them to buy.

surely for those who believe in bitcoin it will be exciting to explain what bitcoin is, but then when you realize that you are talking to a rubber wall how do you feel?
It will be very difficult and probably will not be able to give any advice on Bitcoin.
(Rubber wall) is a good term, describing how skeptics do not accept any advice and will increasingly stay away from bitcoin or investments that they think are dubious.

I agree with your last sentence "Just invest correctly and show that people are too skeptical about bitcoin" and I believe that in the last 3 years many have changed their mind about bitcoin, in reality it would be enough for many people to see what is happening to banks currently completely change your mind about bitcoin
The last few years have indeed been extraordinary years for bitcoin, but of course, it will not stop at that point, there will still be a big boom waiting, so those who doubt will start to enter like at the beginning of bitcoin reaching a new ATH after some media began to doubt bitcoin.

Don't convince anybody about Bitcoin. It irritates me when I hear people talk about convincing another person to invest in Bitcoin. The Bitcoin project is not a Ponzi scheme where you have to push, cajole and persuade people to join in. As long as you can read, and you have access to the internet then you are old enough to make your decision about Bitcoin. To sift the truth from the lies, the misinformation, disinformation about Bitcoin from the correct gist. It's not so hard. And I consider any person who wants to debate with me about Bitcoin whether it is or what it's not an unserious person and a waste of my time. People should actually take the time out to read. Do not convince anyone about Bitcoin. The most you should do is send them a link to the Bitcoin white paper by Satoshi Nakamoto. Period.
Not really that bad when it comes to suggesting or recommending bitcoin into other person considering about the opportunity that it do give out.I do understand on why some people doesnt really like nor want to introduce Bitcoin into other people just because they dont really like on getting blamed when their investment turns out to be negative or red. This is why they are really that skeptical on doing so or doesnt really
plan on doing so.

Even myself dont bother out on explaining to someone about bitcoin investment. If ever there's someone who would be that explaining about wants to learn then it would
just simply redirect them into some website and let them able to read up on whats on there.

I agree.

It's not like you see people talking to others about other types of investments with this level of passion.

"Hey, this index fund is the best in the world, put all your money there" said no one, but you do get people that preach Bitcoin like that.

The thing is that Bitcoin doesn't care, and I can understand if someone is new and just understood Bitcoin, it is very exciting and you want to tell others.

In reality the best thing is to not preach Bitcoin, as it shows itself with its truth and openness.

I agree perfectly with your speech, but unfortunately the skeptics will remain skeptical and will hardly be convinced by those who already know bitcoin well, which is why I say that bitcoin now no longer needs to convince anyone, just look into the past and what bitcoin has managed to do, the people are linked to the financial laws required by the states, but everyone forgets that we live in a "free" world and if you're smart you study and inform yourself well about any existing financial form! and bitcoin for me deserves a study by everyone, I don't have to be the one to convince anyone
It can be emotional to explain Bitcoin to skeptics.
They will not believe and will remain skeptical of Bitcoin even though there is already a lot of evidence about Bitcoin's reliability.
They may argue that Bitcoin has many risks, but in reality, everything will have risks not just Bitcoin.

Currently, bitcoin is generally known and many mass media are reporting on Bitcoin.
To find out about Bitcoin alone can easily get it.

There is no need to convince people who don't want to be convinced and still don't open their minds to revolutionary payment technologies like Bitcoin.
We just need to do it ourselves, if we get a lot of benefits those skeptics who underestimate at first will continue to ask why we can and are not affected by the risk.

Just invest properly, and prove that people who are too skeptical about Bitcoin will regret it in the end.

we are in 2023 and I believe that there is no longer a need to explain to skeptics what bitcoin is, instead I would worry about those who in every way want to show what bitcoin is not, the constant accusations of scams for which bitcoin is used and bad since they show what is not bitcoin

I think the issue now is different.

In early days, say 2009-2012, the issue was that few people knew about Bitcoin, and everything was new.

But now, even though there are movies, books, and Bitcoin is basically mainstream, the issue now is that there is a ton of misinformation, and copycats, and altcoins that just want your money, and they try to confuse people.

It's a different scenario, but people still need guidance, and they will probably always need it.

For me, when it comes to highly volatile investments, a single person should not be forced or convinced into it, but should dwell on it voluntarily. Otherwise, the one who insist to convince will be the one responsible for any loss or failure from his investment. And I believe with bitcoin, people should not enter in it just because other people are doing it and benefiting much from it, but the right way is people invest in it because they believe in it as one potential investment that will grow and prosper in time.

I think you have mentioned few of the most important things about Bitcoin, but I don't think you need to force them to believe what we believe about Bitcoin. There are no words would be enough to change these people's mind, unless you showed them the result/profit. Try to show them how much you have put in Bitcoin currently and get back with them in the next couple of years or when Btc hits another ATH. They might be less interested on Bitcoin's feature, but they might get interested how much profit Bitcoin could give them.

most of those who are not interested in it of the risk of Bitcoin. and they cannot afford to take the risk of what might happen to their assets. different things they think of as other investment assets. it doesn't matter if they want to believe it or not. we can't force them. the most important thing is when they open the discussion, then tell them what we know. it's impossible for those who are skeptical of Bitcoin to actually raise light discussions regarding Bitcoin. if they open up the discussion, it means there is little interest in those who are also secretly paying attention to the Bitcoin market.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
Some people are so set in their ways and behaviorism that it makes convincing them not possible. You cannot convince a person that black is black and white is white if they have been pumped full of ignorance and disinformation throughout their life. This usually only is seen with the older generations but sometimes the young are just as ignorant. I see no reason in wasting your energy trying to convince someone who does not wish to be convinced. The only way to show them the truth is when they see the end result of what buying Bitcoin does for their loved ones.
