The most important thing to use to convince someone to buy BTC, is to show them some evidence that will make them feel that BTC is real  because I have encounter so many people that vow never to be part of BTC in the society but I just send them some links concerning some country that made BTC legal in their countries and what their citizens have achieved so far. I was so surprised when I saw all those guys few years later to hear a good news from them, that the links I send to them really made them to believe, and since then they begin to invest in BTC that changed their life completely. Never you force anybody to buy BTC but just advise them to buy BTC and they will see good result when the price increase higher.

...I’d show them a bitcoin price chart since 2009 & educate them on the block reward halvings every 4 years, tell them about scarcity, demand & pretty much just over time NGU (number go up)...

In this case, it would further confirm his unwillingness to buy Bitcoin, since the chart would show that he missed the opportunity to buy BTC at the lowest price. It was in those first years since the creation of Bitcoin, its price increased very quickly, reaching 1000% per year. In recent years, we have seen large corrections in the price of BTC, and those who purchased bitcoin two years earlier still bear an unrealized loss.

Best thing to do is show them a chart detailing the loss in purchasing power of the $ over time. Show them how much money the FED print out of thin air when the economy is in trouble. Then show them the bitcoin whitepaper, tell them nobody can print more bitcoin than 21,000,000 ever.

I’d show them a bitcoin price chart since 2009 & educate them on the block reward halvings every 4 years, tell them about scarcity, demand & pretty much just over time NGU (number go up).

If that’s not enough for them then let me quote the man himself -

“If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
Even if you tell him everything about bitcoin, as long as he’s doubtful and skeptical about the legitimacy of bitcoin, he will always stick to what he often believes. So it’s better to leave him that way and let’s see if he won’t change his mind in the future if majority of the people are already using bitcoin. But I doubt if it will happen, unless the government has legally adopted bitcoin as a currency.

Just like others I want counter ask this, why do we need to do that? This question has been raise many times in the past and everyone had similar thoughts, is it really necessary for us to publish bitcoin or convince someone to get into it? Bitcoin is free currency in perspective of its acquisition. Anyone who’s holding the keys is owner here! What else they really need to know about it?

If they can’t even understand what it means then I’m sure they really want to be around bitcoin. Plus many of them are keeping it away because they think government is against it so it could be issue in long term. Anyways, just keep it that away.

My father is such type of sceptical person and didn't ever tried to convince him to invest in Bitcoin. Because I am waiting for the right time to convince him. When I will fullfil one of my dream then I will share my proofs what I have gotten from Bitcoin with my Father. So convincing a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin is to share proof and the advantages and security features by investing in Bitcoin to that person. Hope this trick will not go wrong.

If you're trying to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin, it's important to understand their reservations and address them specifically. Some common concerns include the perceived volatility and security of Bitcoin. To address volatility, you can explain that like any investment, Bitcoin may experience fluctuations in price but has shown long-term growth potential. For security concerns, highlight the blockchain technology behind Bitcoin that makes it resistant to fraud and hacking.

Additionally, point out that Bitcoin has been gaining acceptance from major companies and investors, and its limited supply and increasing demand make it a valuable asset. Finally emphasize that Bitcoin offers financial autonomy and privacy, as it operates outside of traditional financial institutions and allows for pseudonymous transactions.

The key to success is having a humanist, well-informed and balanced approach that addresses concerns while highlighting the benefits of Bitcoin is the best way to convince skeptics to consider buying it.

Bitcoin is a currency that is important to everyone all over the world, but there are some people who have no faith in Bitcoin even they consider Bitcoin as worthless base. I am usually far away from them and I can't find a way to convince them. Yes but if you convince people who have little knowledge about Bitcoin about Bitcoin then they get informed about the importance of Bitcoin and subsequently show special interest in Bitcoin. I went to educate about the importance of bitcoin among many bitcoin haters but they threatened me about this forbidden connection instead. They also said Bitcoin is totally illegal in our country so they don't care about this illegal thing. So I didn't want to explain the importance of Bitcoin to those people afterwards.

One of the best ways to convince someone about BTC or any other popular cryptocurrencies for that matter is by explaining to them the earning opportunities possible by investing in them.

Their extreme volatility gives rise to a plethora of earning opportunities on a regular basis, but this strategy could backfire too which is why they should always invest only what they are willing to lose.

This is the number one use-case for these cryptocurrencies if you ask me.

You don't need to explain or give more advice to bitcoin skeptics. You just need to give the results you get when you invest in bitcoin, they will automatically believe you. And if you have not been successful with bitcoin, no matter how you explain it, they will never believe you. That's the law of life, other people only listen to you when you are richer and better than them.

I don't think there is a need to involve ourselves in convincing people to buy Bitcoin because of the possible problem it can cause if the investment of that person goes southward.  We can introduce bitcoin and give the strong points of buying and using Bitcoin but we should never convince people to go in an investment unless we are ready to face the possible problems that lies ahead if the investment goes wrong.

But, for the sense of discussion, I think showing our achievements in using Bitcoin is one good proof to convince other people to get involved in Bitcoin industry.  If we don't have anything in ourselves to prove these people that engaging in Bitcoin is profitable, then better forget convincing them.

Indeed, it is not necessary to convince people to buy a good product, because the imposition is usually carried out by scammers of one kind or another. As a result, those who are not yet familiar with bitcoin will form a negative attitude. And if they see from other people's examples that bitcoin is a very profitable and convenient tool, they themselves will begin to study and use it, having received all the possible advantages.

You're totally right about being in control of your money with Bitcoin. Show them examples and real life event where their fiat money was confiscated or were people weren't given access to their own money for a period of time. To convince them, I'd also mention its potential for long-term growth, how more businesses are accepting crypto payments and how it is going towards mainstream adoption. But don't forget to tell them about the importance of keeping their coins safe too! They need to learn about wallet security and backups. You don't want them to end up blaming you for the money they lost!

to be honest i don't have time to convince people to buy bitcoin. as we all know that time will tell what will happen in the future, and since it is that way, let them realize it themselves instead of you desperately convincing them to buy.

what happened to me was that they asked me about Bitcoin first. they doubt and think bad about Bitcoin will not be as good as Gold and stocks. however, it makes me have to argue to defend my own opinion. because I did put my money on Bitcoin, not on gold or the stock market.
it is indeed difficult to convince someone who is already skeptical of Bitcoin. It's easier to give opinions to those who are attracted than to those who hate. but with the attention and the inquiries made, I think, that means they have their eye on Bitcoin. Of course, they weren't buying Bitcoin at that time and it was bad, but if they look at how Bitcoin overall has been in the market so far. I'm sure they will regret it because in the past they hated Bitcoin.
that only means they are already aware of the existence of bitcoin and the possibilities that they will earn, but they are skeptical because it is more like gambling that is most likely a scam due to its high volatility that anytime they can lose money in a blink of an eye. i have to agree with you that there are people who will ask you this questions just to provoke debates, and it's no different from people bringing microphones on the streets spreading why their god is better than someone's god. this is why i've also said above that let them believe what they want to believe, since nobody knows what the future looked like, either both of us win or benefited to what we believe or even lost, there's no blaming going to happen.

As majority of the users mentioned it is not necessary to convince anyone to be part of bitcoin. What a bitcoiner can do, he/she can just introduce about bitcoin and available cryptocurrencies in the market. Rest is their choice whether they prefer to use it or not. Just on our suggestion if someone is entering the market and if the person experience loss due to his activities, then this would surely be a problem. In particular if there's good relationship the same gets broken. So, just introduce and leave it for them to learn of their own.

there's no need to convince others to go into bitcoin. they have their own time when they want to explore this market. if they feel they are oblige to get into this market, who would explain to them why they got lost their funds during the trading? better if it is their own accord why they are going into this so they know the risks involve. if they know what they are going into, you can't be blamed if they incur losses.

The fact that people buy or own bitcoin for various reasons makes it difficult to convince someone that really isnt into cryprocurrencies in the first place, but if someone is into investments,  trading, gambling,a bit of some darkweb sh*t i this should be the kind of person that will take interest in crypto coins like bitcoin.

But for a skeptical person like you say, they are more likely not to jump in easily but they are likely to believe  it if someone besides them to the lead and showed the best side of bitcoin.

There’s nothing to prove to any skeptical person as he/she will never agree and has its own criticism at the end of the day. That’s why I never dare to convince people about bitcoin from the very start. If they are interested with bitcoin, I know they’ll find a way how to educate theirselves but if they don’t want to engage with bitcoin, they’ll always have their reasons why they don’t believe in it.

I'm also done in convincing people to try Bitcoin I just let them wonder now what I am doing to earn extra money. If they really want to learn Bitcoin there are already lot of references they can use and all their questions can be found in internet. I introduced Bitcoin before in family and some friends but ended up being blame whenever the price went down as if they wanted me to tell them everything they should do when the price pump or dump they seems to be so depended that they don't take time to study it.

Bitcoin is for everyone, but not everyone wants Bitcoin.

A sceptical person will always be a scepical person especially when it comes to investing. A person who don't have any experiences when it comes to investing will be sceptical into it. TBH, I will only spend my time teaching Bitcoin into a person whose interested in learning it, and not to a person who thinks that Bitcoin is a bad thing, or a bad investment whatsoever.

Convincing people to invest into Bitcoin is almost the same as those people in the mall who are convincing the mallgoers to buy their product or insurance. If they really like the product, they will be interested into it, and it's the same with Bitcoin. If a person really wants to learn Bitcoin, they will be the ones who will urge you to teach them. They will be the ones who will do the initiative, do some researches, and find ways to learn it.
