Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
Maybe the real question is that 'why?'. Why do children needs to know about BTC at a young age? Yes, indeed, we are on the digital age but I think they don't need to know about it of they are young. If it's because of the benefits and advantages, maybe you should first start introducing what Bitcoin is, in that way they will have an idea about it, and if it will caught their attention and interest, it will be better. Then the advantages and the likes.

I think that children should first study the economy at school, later it will be easier for them to understand bitcoin Smiley
yeah, that is correct. we should teach them about the economy first and also computer science before let them know what bitcoin is and how to use it. Bitcoin is great but it is not suitable for children without basic knowledge

Computer science? Do you know that is a vast topic? It is a vast topic you can see it as a course on colleges? If you will be teaching a children about bitcoin, don't. Better that you tell them when they asked you in his/her teenager. And it is suitable, the thing is, they won't understand what bitcoin is if you tell them.
Let them live a normal life first, let them study hard so they will be ready once they become matured or at the right age.
Bitcoin is something to take seriously and once you started it you might fall in love with it, just like me I started bitcoin
and I am making money so I quit my job to focus on it.

But what exactly is a "normal" life? What's normal to you might not be normal to me. What's normal for a third world country people might not be normal to first world country people. There are just so much differences for every person's lives that you can never say that you've lived a "normal" life. Normal life is so subjective.

You don't want them to start learning about bitcoin because they might fall in love with it? Why not? I think it's only normal to find what on life are you passionate about and be able to embrace it. Show to them what bitcoin is and if they fell in love with it, then let them be a bitcoiner. Some loves to paint, some loves to sing, some loves to use the idea of bitcoin.

Don't force them to understand bitcoin immediately because it really takes time to the children to understand this kind of things. I think the best way is to ask if they are interested on it then slowly explain it to them.

how they will become interested if they didn't know what is bitcoin before?  obviously why not to explain them first so they can react for interesting bitcoin or refuse our explanation. explain about bitcoin to teenagers doesn't mean force them into bitcoin.
Although there is no restrictions in using bitcoin but it's already understood that children has more important things to learn than learning bitcoin first. At their young age they need to focus on something that could help them develop and don't worry about educating them because bitcoin will last and there will be a right time for everything and that is when they got matured and at the right age.

I think it is not yet advisable to explain Bitcoin to children since they are still in young age. They need to learn first from school, it seems difficult for them to learn about Bitcoin if they don't have yet knowledge about the industry, the economy and many more. On the other side, we can explain Bitcoin to teenagers, first, by simply giving them an idea of what is Bitcoin. Then, show them how it works. Explain to them what the benefits can it give and how it can change someone life, through that, they can be interested. Moreover, show them some proof, after all, "To see is to believe" . Wink

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also find it difficult to understand bitcoin for the first time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to teenagers.
In my country Indonesian, I can say that 90% of children do not know about bitcoin.
Even adults do not know what bitcoin is before being described as much detail as possible.
Actually, bitcoin could be the money of the future.
If children do not recognize cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how they can face the digital age in the future.  Shocked

I think that not only in your country but everywhere in the world 99% of people don't know about bitcoin. You are right, children will go ahead of others in this regard and it should be like that. That's why it's important to teach them about bitcoin from the very beginning. Only don't make it boring, make it fun and they will be learning with pleasure.

You should tell or introduce slowly to teens or kids with bitcoin like digital money as a tool to buy and sell online, it can also be used as ordinary money used by parents to shop at the store. Perhaps by explaining the theory and practice of bitcoin teenagers or children can know about bitcoin

This right here is probably the best approach. Show them in practice - What it does, what it doesnt, etc. They can hear about the tech side and how it functions 'backstage' at a later stage.

Most people use computers/smartphones and have no idea how they really 'work' on a tech level.

Best way of explaining is using the gold analogy.

But I think explaining it to a person in his/her early teens will be quite diffiicult. Best to wait till the person reaches late teens and then explain

yeah right....we can also show them directly...step by step..because my friend explain to me like that before..they will love it... Wink

Bitcoin can be difficult to explain but so can money and what teenager really knows how that works, hell most people don't know how money really works.
I think a teenager would probably be the easiest generation to teach bitcoin to, you don't need to teach them the whole in's and out's just a bit about public/private key pairs, sending/receiving addresses and secure coin holding and they will pick up the rest very quickly.
Bitcoin is very difficult to explain to someone, especially teenagers and children. It took me a long time to understand and participate in Bitcoin. But I think young people like teens will understand faster. The quickest way to explain to them about Bitcoin is to show them the benefits Bitcoin brings to its participants.
yes i am agree, bitcoin is not so easy to explain to everyone, specially to those people who are illiterate and to teenagers and children. bitcoin is too much technical and currently mostly use for investment and trading therefore teenagers and children will not taking too much interest in bitcoin, i am sure that when bitcoin will start using as currency in offline shops then they will easily learn about how to spend it and buy things using bitcoin.
If you think to teach them how to trade or invest in bitcoin, that's hard to understand because their age is too young for accepting a risk but i know one way that you can try is like you can tell them how bitcoin works, how to get free bitcoin. i'm sure teenagers will be interested because they already know about the money.

You can give them advices like keep learning and try to find some references for their learning, then tell them you qre not yet familiar with everything, just also tell them how did you start, basic guidelines that are easy to understand. This does not mean that you will teach them the way how you discover it, instead teach them in the most simple, explainable and easy to understand way.

That is right,  giving them an idea how to earn and invest in bitcoin and showing how people change the status of their life through this is other way to explain it to them. It is for them to decide if they want to believe and try to start their own.
If they are interested to do so, it is on their own to gather more knowledge about it.

It seems difficult. If a child or teenager doesn't see that how can i explain. But nowdays every child knows technology better than me Smiley I think they know what is btc. If i come to the question i could explain btc which they spend money or golds in the game. Really I don't know another way

You should teach about bitcoin to their growth. Bitcoin may be used by children and teenagers in future. Henceforth they should know about bitcoin. The teenagers will use bitcoin for their day to day expenditure. Not only that they will earn additional income from bitcoin.
