I think that it is almost impossible to recognize fake airdrop companies, as airdrop are created in the beginning. I think that you should not choose from a variety of airdrop companies are good, but it is better to see whether there is an opportunity to participate in the airdrop company of a good ICO.

And why bother to determine whether airdrop fake or not , I think you should not waste your time on these pennies , it is better to take a trade

Airdrops are now officially a waste of time
Except you are able and willing to run hundreds of account

Why ??

If 100 airdrops are launched, 95% are all frauds

The 5% that are real will definitely end up costing about 2$
All not having value

This TIP based only on my experience how to know if the airdrop is fake

Few months ago i encounter a fake airdrop using a TELEGRAM BOT.
An airdrop bot pretending as a real airdrop of a coin already listed on CMC

How i find out if they're scam or not?
First i search the name of coin on COINMARKETCAP from there i saw the legit website of that coin..
Second i search the TELEGRAM GROUP CHAT link from the WEBSITE of coin
Then i ask the ADMIN in TELEGRAM GROUP CHAT if the airdropbot i saw is legit or not and they said to me its not legit..the COIN that using airdropbot i encounter are using only the name of their coin.

Another FAKE AIRDROP i saw last month is BITAIR, BITAIR asking for selfdrop to buy their token
i search the BITAIR WEBSITE and i find it.i see the TWITTER account from there website
and i notice on there last post was november 2017 if im not mistaken, and bit air ico sale was ended last november.

Both of this type of airdrop are SCAM, I noticed they both collecting a member for their TELEGRAM CHANNEL and collecting FOLLOWER on their twitter account, And asking for selfdrop then dissapear after of ICO Sale.

I hope this post can help some NEWBIE to avoid to be a victim of airdrop with selfdrop SCAM SCHEME.

Any other tip on checking if airdrop is legit?

That's quite sad, what if bounty hunters just focus on bounties not airdrops? well easy jobs is not that worth it I can say, It's better to work hard and earn more compared to airdrop's profit.

If coin is in the market, make sure the social media address is the same as the one on cmc or the web from their site

Yes, there were many such projects that allegedly did airdrop with top projects , but in fact were fakes to promote their telegram accounts

Exactly. The point is we have to check social media of the related project, especially Twitter. Because usually, crypto projects use twitter as a means of sharing information, including the airdrop announcement.

If the airdrop ask for your private key, this is first thing to know that the airdrop is fake. The second thing will be if the airdrop ask for email and KYC, it seems that some airdrop is collecting email for leads.

As I understand it today there is no accurate information about the fact that now there is some kind of resource that would help. Today, everyone pays attention to the fact that most people use only their experience and that's all.

It is better not to take a risk with airdrops. Because most of them are fake. Check their social media profile and telegram. If the airdrop is fake than they mustn't have verified team member.

Find out fake airdrop is difficult. specially for newbie. If you have experience about airdrop you can see some clue that tell you that it is fake airdrop. such as only two minute you can earn 1000$. They have no clear roadmap.

I, too, have long realized that airdrops is in most cases a fraud. Has long passed the era when people were making on airdrops a lot of money. It's not relevant anymore. Beginners often come here for an easy way to get money and often face similar scams. So I think you were right to post about it. We need to protect as many people as possible so that they do not fall for such projects.

You can determine fake airdrop if they are asking for your private address of your erc20 trusted wallet. You can also see if they have a proper website, if they only get their site on companies that offer making free sites then it will be a red flag.

Airdrop is now a lot of fraud. because most airdrops are not clear and only a few can be successful and the rest will become shit tokens that exist today

from various kinds from Airdrop, just as there are various people who are troubled if they want to get tokens must send KYC. looking for legit Airdrop is indeed rather difficult, it is better if indeed we want to get payment try to join in the bounty, I am more confident bounty than Airdrop.

99 percent of airdrop are not in the exchange, Therefore you can't find it there.
Coinmarketcap needs to have 3 exchanges on before listed on CMC and need a 24 hours volume cap.
It is okay to join many airdrop as long as you can but never do KYC.

If it's too good to be true it probably is. Another telltale sign of a scam if asking for your private key.

I suppose it should be easy to spot the fake airdrop in cryptocurrency community. In the past, airdrops are one of cryptocurrency activities that unite the community to achie e development for their airdrpp project. One of he way to spot fake airdrop is when they insist thay you send money !

the way you give it is very true and I strongly agree with you, to be able to know the authenticity of the existing airdrop you should be able to ask on the telegram group chat that you can see on their website, make sure they actually provide an airdrop program so you can knowing that the program exists and is not fake.

In fact, these experiences are meaningless. In fact, the airdrop mission has been abused. Like the ICO project, they have been abused. Now ICO is dead and the airdrop mission disappears. Perhaps this is a purification of the cryptocurrency market, but I am not sure if it will be reborn.
