I advice you as a newbie to have an open mind because there will be people who will be disagreeing with your opinion. This will in turn help you grow because you will be introduced to new ideas and grow as a member of this forum as a whole.
Yeah, and having an open mind means being open to new opportunities and ideas especially those ideas came from senior members who have many experience already concerning crypto, whether in or out of this forum.

Just be open to improvement. Don't take the disagreement as discouragement. You (we) can learn from it and can help us grow as member of this community and as a person as well. Smiley

However, some newbies who join this forum have a different purpose than other forums. They will not ask questions, discuss or contribute to the forum.
They just want to make money from this forum by following some bounty campaigns, that's the goal of some newbies I found on this forum.
That is the goal of most of the newbie on this forum. I susect thats the goal of EmmaGod as well. Probably someone told her that bitcointalk is a good place to make money.I mean, first post on this forum, and immediately making thread instead taking time to get used to all this.

It depends. What's your main goal in joining this forum in the first place? If you've been in other online forums in the past, it's pretty much the same. You ask questions, you discuss, you debate, or you could simply just read and not post anything, etc.

But there are some who have the goal of starting to learn about bitcoin technology, blockchain and others, getting off to a great start as a quality member with a few posts made, not just as a silent rider.

A good starting point is probably changing the saying slightly: "a man who asks specific questions does not lose his way". Adding that small adjective goes a long way, leaving less room for hypotheticals and more space for targeted responses.

To that effect, if would be good to simply read around and discover what your goals and areas of interest are, narrowing the contextual scope, in order to obtain more concrete answers to whatever crops up in your area of interest.

Making critical discussion with reliable sources and good point is really necessary and what matters the most here in this forum.

Informative, quality and good topics will help each and every one of us grow in this forum. If we care about other people's awareness and knowledge towards the environment, cryptocurrency and economy, this will help them understand the purpose of this forum. We have one goal in this forum, and that is to have a positive and real mindset towards ourselves.

Just read the rules and regulations in this forum so that you are aware about it.

I was going to say this.

It is curious that this question is raised in this forum. In any forum you register because you are interested in the topic and want to exchange impressions.

OP just needs to use the forum and  he will see.

There isn't a way to use the forum that leads to have the best experience.

1. You may use the search engine if you want to know specific information, you may only search the keyword and there would be many topics that will pop up based on the typed keyword. It is really helpful whenever you want to create a topic to avoid redundancy.
A Complete Guideline to use forum search button properly. This guide can support yours.

If you visit a thread, and type word to search with the search box at the top (not click on Search button), results for your search will be limited to that thread only. It will not be results in all threads on the forum.

As a beginner of this forum, it is important for you yo read first the rules of the forum so you may avoid making mistakes and for you to know the things that are allowed here and not. You should understand every single rule if there is a rule that you can understand then feel free to ask it here.

I like the OP's quotation, asking things you don't know is really a good option, if you can't find any solution with those problems on your mind, asking it is the best thing to do. I am once a beginner before and asking a question makes me more familiar with this forum. I also posted some questions on my mind and also I ask my friend who is also here in this forum about the things that make me confuse. I also want to give some advice to you mate.

1. You may use the search engine if you want to know specific information, you may only search the keyword and there would be many topics that will pop up based on the typed keyword. It is really helpful whenever you want to create a topic to avoid redundancy.

2. All sections are good and will help you gain more knowledge about the crypto world but If you want to become more familiar with this forum then have time exploring with the beginners&help, there are so many useful topics that will help you to understand more the forum.

If making the best out of this forum is what you want, it will be good to know more about bitcoin, it will really help you, also know about altcoins is a way to be better, there are many other boards that can also interests you as well. Reading daily, having more knowledge and the checking the way established members are posting are very important. You may know the right thing to communicate, but if not communicated well, appropriately and authentically, people may see it as a shit way of posting. Check posts that are merited is the first thing you need.

You need to have ambition and your ambition must be backed by determination, you need to post qualitatively in a way that will impress people (establish members), if the way of your posting and what you are posting is authentic, then you will have people that will like to read what you are posting because they will know you for posting quality contents. Making proper research and launching topics as a newbie will help.

Like others have commented above, on this forum, we have our rules, you must follow the rules in order to avoid been banned. Especially, do not spam nor plagiarize because ban is the punishment. Also read all the rules in details one by one.

There are few things you may need to research about to make this forum easy for you. These are some below:
1. Mining, know about halving in relation to blocks and block rewards
2. Wallets, custodial and noncustodial. The reason why noncustodial are the best and safest
3. Exchanges, and how often they are hacked.
4. Learning about signature campaigns and bounties, but if you check this forum very well, you will be able to understand little for now in services board for bitcoin and bounties board for altcoins.
5. Also, you need to know about scamming, not to scam people but to avoid how to be scammed. There are many scam related threads on this forum, many established memebers of this forum like people posting about recent scams.

Lastly, is the issue of correction, do not try to argue with established members, what I have noticed is that they know more than you can possibly imagine for now, if they correct you, it can pain you, but just accept and correct yourself. If you are ranking up, they will always be your best friends on the forum, helping you in the process.

You are welcome to Bitcointalk forum.
