Maintaining good health by taking care of the body and eating the right way is only part of the picture. Healthy living is the practice of maintaining good physical, mental and spiritual health. These three aspects are like the three legs of the overall health to keep you strong and balanced. We should understand and learn ways on  how to nurture these aspects to achieve a healthiest, happiest life.
Yeah, when you talk about spiritual health,I use to wonder how that works, because we are humans and we don't seem to be in spirit to know whether we are healthy spiritually or not.Or is it by not sinning that we can say we are healthy spiritually? It confuses me atimes because I don't seem to understand what we mean being healthy spiritually.
I know to be healthy is to eat balanced diet, having regular exercise, and and keeping your mind free from worries and anxieties.but that of spiritual,I dont know.

Take time to read this article as it explains what is spiritual health and why it matters.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6150917/

Spiritual health is like a human connection with God, himself, other people and the nature. Spiritual health is about the connection with self (personal dimension), others (social dimension), the nature (the environment) and God (transcendental dimension) (3). The basic characteristics of spiritual health are as follows: proper lifestyle, connection with others, asking about the meaning and purpose of life, and transcendence (4). Spiritual health is extremely important for many researchers, to the extent that it is seen as one of the key aspects of health (5). According to numerous studies conducted on various patients, spiritual health leads to improved mental health (6), and is positively related to physical health, for instance, it may help patients experience lesser pain (7).

What is spiritual health? The word "spiritual" refers to that core dimension of you - your innermost self - that provides you with a profound sense of who you are, where you came from, where you're going and how you might reach your goal.

actually the main element of health is the mind, because if our minds are not good and always have problems, we can be sure that our health will be disturbed.
Indeed, our mind has an important role for having a good health. If we are stress or experiencing a depression it can really affect our health because we have these worries as hindrance to take care of ourselves. Having a balanced diet, get enough sleep, exercise atleast 20 minutes and a company of good people can give us not just a reason to maintain a healthy body but a healthy mind as well.

Your information is very useful and true, but behind all that, we need enough material to be healthy. I quote what you say here. "New skills help keep your brain healthy". I think to keep the brain from being stressed, we need to go for a walk and see the vast nature, it can also make us healthy and feel comfortable.

Sometimes the good health people need most is peace of mind. i  get to understand in the race of man their are always challenges which man faces. So what ever the problem maybe we should always learn the habit of having peace of mind it contributes alot to the health. When the mind is troubled it disorganizes the whole human body.

clear your mind and behave positively in uncovering any problems because everything can be solved undoubtedly we will find invaluable natural health.
continue to act to be positive whatever we do and we eat will taste good and can make our immunity high.

One of the most accurate replies so far, I've stumbled upon this a few years ago, I would often get sick and feel unwell, which was stemming from my adverse psychological state. Eating healthy and exercising can be beneficial, but it's not always enough. However, exercising (used to participate in competitive cycling for many years) had helped me cope with it and get my mind off any issues I was experiencing.

If you implement these few instructions in your life then you will be fit and healthy:
1. Have Breakfast
2. Drink Plenty of Water
3. Take an Exercise Break
4. Go Offline and sleep on time
5. Learn Something New(New skills help keep your brain healthy)
6. Don't Smoke
7. Train Your Muscles

Op tried for the list, the major thing that keep body healthy and also maintain health status is balance diet and exercise, emphasising on smoking" smoking is not really bad in health it base on the environment you find yourself because some environments needs smoking to activate body system such as snow weather,so such environment needs hot drink or smoking in order to survive.
Do you mean smoking is good for our health? If you smoke and you have no problem, does it mean it's good for your health? So tell me why smokers are liable to die Young. There are somethings we do as human that is dangerous to our health but we are not aware of it. We now have drugs that can cleanse the lung and reduce the effect of smoking which also have it's own side effects.

spirituality is more like mental.

here is an example.."guilt" feeling guilty feels bad, feeling bad is not good and that "not good" is not good for you holistically.

I can tell you that I used to catch flu, cold and other infections when I lived in a warm city apartment. Then times changed and I moved to the countryside where I had to go outside to get firewood every day, even when it was -20*C. I'd wake up in the morning, chop wood, go back inside and make breakfast. We'd often make tea or coffee and walk around the house in the falling snow drinking it. It made me so "tough" that when it was -5, I'd go out to get wood in a hoodie. I no longer needed a warm jacket and I didn't catch a single cold on that year.
We also lowered the temperature in the house and begun to sleep in about 18*C, never going above 20. It's really good for your throat and lungs.

I mine crypto, i get exposed to heat(short periods only) not favorable to human living conditions, here is the thing..if you are healthy you can enjoy the heat and enjoy the cold.

I've been to cold climate and enjoyed it and I've been in hot climate and enjoyed it, also in hotter climate(mining room) not so enjoying but my body can handle it.

notice people in hot climate that get inside a cool air conditioned room/car and they feel weakened and they cough, that's a sign something needs to be optimized (health), same thing with people that get weakened by heat collapses in mining room temps..by the looks of it you moving to the countryside made you healthy.

I do all of this but I get when people can't because they are too tired from work. I  always feel better after exercise no matter how tired I was before. Also drinking water is not that hard you just need to have a habit.

Self-discipline is the worst enemy of yourself. Those are easy to follow but sometimes the laziness will overpower you. But if you already started and keep your motivation alive, it will become your habit. Just like when someone is aiming to lose weight. The solution is easy but it is the discipline that is hard to sustain.

discipline is simply the start, it will lead you astray if you don't have the knowledge..what you need is science if you are addicted to sugar and carbs but you don't know the solution, you will eventually cave in or live in ebbs and flows that will get you nowhere.

There seems to be a body of opinion that doesn't believe that breakfast is healthy. The justification seems to be the way the body handles stored fats, and brief periods of starvation can help the body to break these down, and covert them. Obviously you are not eating whilst you are asleep, and by avoiding eating until 11am or later, you force the body to process these stored fats

I try to do this, but I seem to weaken frequently when I am sitting in a cafe at 8am, and everybody else is tucking into breakfast. Smiley

by doing periodic fasting/starvation. it actually trains your body to try to store previous nutriants/sugars into fat. and then burn the fat overnight/morning. this is natures natural way. but the problem is if you are eating after 6pm the night before (eating then sleeping) that food is not being utilised. and if its sugary it causes spikes in your blood sugar when your body should be settling down. then if your waking up early and needing sugary coffee just to try shaking off the sluggishness. then that sugar is then not letting your body activate the fat burning process.
even the fake sugars(sweeteners) cause your body to taste the sweet. and cause your body to produce insultin ready for the sugar intake. but then not having a sugar intake because its sweetener instead. your body has an adverse reaction to that too..

the best advice is to not eat in the evening but eat in the morning. eating fat in the morning instead of sugary/sweetened drinks actually lets your body know its ok to burn fat because its not getting a sugar fix in the morning and if it needs more fat later then it knows it has some. so it doesnt try to hold onto the fat.

so no food in evening. but a fatty (fry up) breakfast and no sweet stuff
(hint: majority of obese people skip breakfast anyway and have sugary drinks and eat after 6pm.. so do the opposite)

I rarely do breakfast because...I am not hungry, only eat when you are hungry. sometimes when i get busy in a day's work I blast off for the whole day without eating and have dinner by 6pm. I also eat anytime of the day if I get hungry, but there is a difference between real hunger and fake hunger (created by high carbs diet), there are also some time where i totally forgot/ignore to eat for a day because i am not hungry (the previous day was a feast of healthy fatty meats.)

people over complicate/over think things, just eat healthy and your body adapts and tells you what you need.. it is a process and it takes time.

I think # 3 & #7 are the same thing.  I also would add getting some sunlight into the mix.  Some sort of social interaction is never a bad idea either.  Even if it's just a phone call or quick Facetime with someone you are friends with (not work stuff).  A positive attitude and a daily dose of helping someone else can do wonders for one's attitude as well.  Most importantly though is just to make an effort.  If you don't take that first step towards being a healthier person, you never will be.

To maintain good health you need to eat a variety of vegetables and fruits. If at least 30 kinds of vegetables and fruits can be eaten every week it is very good for health just as you need to eat proper and healthy food throughout the day you also need to drink the right amount of pure drinking water this is because drinking water not only quenches thirst, but also retains body moisture meets the body's internal water needs and does more than just help keep the whole body healthy.

The proper way of maintaining a good health is by eating balance diet, like making sure that you eat all the classes of food , mostly vegetable and fruit. Also make sure not to stress your self at work so you won't end up with fatigue, always sleep well and live happily ,and don't think much so  you won't end up with high blood pressure.
Maintaining good health is not just all about eating, but keeping yourself physically fit, like having regular exercises, going for workouts and always being happy outside and inside of you.

I won’t write you off totally but for a fact the first thing that comes to my mind each time we talk about how to maintain balance diet and all that is peace of mind I can’t emphasize this any less this is the key 🔑 someone that is restless and not at peace with himself can never be healthy even when offered the best meals in the world or balanced diets he or she might be consuming this things but their won’t be any change absolutely nothing to show for it. Peace of mind is the only way to keep fit and live happily with balanced diets.

The number 1 way to maintain good health is to recognize that God is in everything, and that He wants you to have good health. Part of this recognizing is to get a better understanding through reviewing the Bible daily... in detail.

Add to the above...

2. When you use nutrition or hygiene, or even medicine, recognize that the basics of all those things were created by God. The food, itself, that you eat has been created by God. Nobody else can make food. The best they can do is use some of the things that God made to manipulate food a little.

3. Study. We are lucky to have the Internet, these days. And sure, most of the Net is manipulated by search engines,... especially Google. But there are other search engines, and even Google will find the info that you need if you know how to use it properly... what words and phrases to use to outsmart their manipulative algorithms.

4. Recognize that people have not changed for over 5000 years. Those people back then needed all the same, basic things that we need: air to breathe; water to drink; food to eat; clothing for protection; some kind of housing at times... you get the picture. The only difference among modern people is the amount of propaganda that we are being pushed into believing as fact, these days... like Covid pandemics.

Now you have the base so you can start looking for the literal, actual things that you need to maintain your good health.

California communities learn to become self-sufficient with mini gardens

The organization initially provided free lawn conversions but decided to shift its focus later on. Tamara McFarland, a leader within the cooperation, was concerned that the lawn conversion project failed to reach individuals who would benefit the most from growing their own food. Most of the people applying for lawn conversions were long-term renters and homeowners with a stable income and the privilege of starting a backyard garden.

When the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hit, the organization became even more motivated to move away from its lawn-conversion model, which required a number of volunteers working side-by-side for long stretches of time. To that end, the cooperation thought of starting a free mini-garden project to cater to those with limited lawn space and reduce in-person contact.

Starting a community mini-garden program

The organization created three to four-foot-long garden beds that are made of fabric grow bags filled with high-quality soil. These small garden beds were delivered fully planted with a variety of plant starts and basic gardening accessories. Because the mini-gardens are "ready to grow," the organization was able to reduce face-to-face contact amid the pandemic.

The group also provided educational resources to teach recipients how to care for their gardens. In addition, recipients were encouraged to reach out for help with any gardening questions they might have.

Is this the best place to post this sort of topic because, it doesn't really come off well to be appropriate in this board to me and I know I've seen something similar in the serious discussion board. Though it doesn't carry the same content but, has similar idea.

Anyway, I suppose these are just healthy habits and it could be summarised to living in the health of appropriating what you it according to the food classes (balanced diet), exercise and rest.
An average human is engaged in a lot of work during the day and the body often needs a time out which isn't the regular night hour rest. A siester or nap could be all that is needed and your all good. So, eat healthy, exercise/maintain good hygiene and rest are some of the best ways to go about it.
