Bitcoin is a p2p network with no central authority. There are no regulation of bitcoin, and we the people control it. Due to no central authority the government hates bitcoin. They can easily track transactions of fiat currency, where is it going and how it is flowing, which is hard to trace using bitcoin. So i dont think government will ever accept bitcoin.

I think that is a good idea because no government accepted it today,  so the first one who will accept it will have lots of profits but I'm afraid that it will be not simple to managed it. The government I think will have to create banks...

Most of the governments will not accept or bitcoin as a common currency but instead they regulates it to prevents money laundering and other illegal purposes. Some are officially recognized the bitcoin as a method of payment like what the philippine central bank done but it is not considering bitcoin as a currency.

The government doesn't like anonymity, but this can be negotiated gradually. Currently they only need to set bitcoin exchange market in their country, so that it can regulate income tax and corporate transactions. It will also have an impact for members' transactions taxes. There are several exchange market that use verification such as uploading a photo ID while holding a paper written that they are active members.
With the same thing I will say that Here one a most big descion may be made by the government of the countries to destroy the anonymity .
Thier should altoted particular numbers of bitcoin adress per user and his wallet should be verified by the wallet of bitcoin , So here it is better that government develop own Bitcoin wallet to make all transaction clearing , that transaction amount is going where , In this way there are no chances of anonymous activity , everything will be open and easy to understand for the purpose of payment .
Buty this idea is totally worst until it will be use by the any country's government .

Nice idea. That can help bitcoin to be accepted by the government. Government don't like anonymity because that can be a cause for being abusive of the criminals and doing illegal transaction so if the government can think an idea like making their web wallet or online exchange and requires personal information then it will be a plus point for bitcoin to be accepted. We need to sacrifice some of the features of bitcoin like anonymity because that is not a big deal.

Well, i wish the day will come when my government announce that they accept the bitcoin, and we could use bitcoin in open market easily. But in my country reality is that, my government not inter-fair in bitcoin matter, even they don't banned it and also not accept it, but people are using it only for online. So i have no issue with my government but better is that if my government accept bitcoin, than definitely my country people will use it easily.

Already government of our country had accepted bitcoin partially. government told that 'Use bitcoin with your won risk' this means that for any scam or thief user can't lodge case so government will  not take any action on it.

there will be too much advantages of this. we will be able to use bitcoin as legal currency, more and more people will do trust on it and will accept bitcoin for so many other purposes. although we will then pay tax on it but i think it is not bad to pay tax on bitcoin.
I do not think that it Is such an easy job. That is really a very very long process. I do not think that it is such a effective way legalizing bitcoin. I think we can do that if the users of bitcoin increase more and more and they make the government think about the legalization of bitcoin but I think it really require a hard world by the users who know about bitcoin to introduce it to other people who have no idea about bitcoin.

But time is the right cure for many struggles. Over time all will realize and adopt bitcoins for sure.

That is what the US and UK government will do.

- I do not want the government to accept Bitcoin, because the government will tax and the tax will become a burden for users Bitcoin, the government get a big profit from imposing on Bitcoin taxes. I do not want to enrich the government, I do not want to share the profits and I do not want to related laws. I love freedom and are not binding, I like Bitcoin for that, Bitcoin do not need the government to accept, now it is still good, still develop

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
But the question is why would you want the government to accept it? Do you want to pay taxes pr buy something from the government or actually earn bitcoin from the government? If that the case, isn't that is being done with money?
Just simple reason, if bitcoin is accepted by government it would serve as an legal authority to use within the country and the acceptance increases enormously. Also users who fear of bitcoin use into illegal needs gets eliminated and regulatory acts pave path for the digitization of the financial system without flaws.

This is very simple .
Government need to launch thier own wallet and start to impose tax for the bulk deals in the bitcoin .

Government will accept bitcoin only when people are paying taxes on time. Bitcoin is new technology where it will take some time to implement because bitcoin is global currency and it is completely peer to peer transaction. So government should take care of all the steps in flow and out flow of bitcoin transaction.

Using bitcoin to exchange  daily is inconvenience. Because Bitcoin is a virtual currency and when you want to exchange, you must transfer for another one. This make to waste  time

Eh like most say all it really is the fact of anonymity and being able to tax people and other sorts of things if Bitcoin becomes more public in a sense of security than most people who actually use it will stop using it cause I'm pretty sure the whole reason they do use it is because of it being anonymous.

In my opinion, as long as there are only few bitcoin merchants and it is still not growing then the government will keep off of bitcoin For example in some country bitcoin is not yet known by many people as well as the local businesses and companies as they are still not convinced that accepting bitcoin would help them because of some of its flaws . Maybe governments are going to accept it if there are large percentage of their population would demand it to .

This would really be a hard task for convincing government on making them accept or adopt bitcoin into their place because most of them does really know the disadvantage of it when they do accept it just like on taxation problems and increase crime rate because we cant really avoid those circumtances since people do really have different minds.
