i am an investor too, for me i will invest to an ICO if the project have a real team with a background and part of other blockchain team. and also if there is already a product and upcoming product to be develop after the ICO

Yep promotion is very important but you must have somthing can be used in real life i think in 2017-18 investors were investing thanks to good promotion well done whitepaper but not today,so today this doesnt work and its good as not every newbie would try make ICO and scam investors ,i ses more profs. come to market its great.
