Try to think of the happy moments in your life and cherish them. get rid of all the negative vibes by thinking only positive and cherishing them. Love yourself

How to overcome depression by thinking positively

Yes it is difficult to think positively when we are haunted by feelings of insecurity and haunted by depression. However, it never hurts for us to learn positive thinking always.

I think Listening to upbeat music & Dancing helps you to relieve stress, Yoga Poses, Exercises, That Can Ease Depression, and also traveling and Spend some time in nature good way to overcome depression

To overcome depression, it is hard but you can do it if theres one in yourside. You always need a family that you can shars what you feel and the problems your facing. Family can help you motivate and gives you courage to face any problems. To overcome depression just consult your family, for sure they will help you.

Trying to change new dopamine levels associated with pleasure, and learning.

Go to a new place, learn a new language, read a new book, and anything else you've been wanting to try.

if you are experiencing depression, You need to consult and talk to your family members by sitting down and face to face to each other then Start by telling your parents you have something important to tell them and that you need help with it. Describe how you have been feeling and say the depression you're experiencing. Then talk about ways you can get through it together and don't lie to them so that they can help you.

Depression is not just a mere psychological problem, it is also a medical condition that results from a chemical imbalance in the brain. You can overcome it, by seeking professional help.Seek the Lord through prayers because He is our Great Physician. Prayer is a powerful weapon and this also depends on your faith. And also from the doctors. Aside from counselling, they will give you also medications.
You can overcome it too by helping yourself,  not to focus on your problems because that is where commonly deppression originates. Be positive, that All will be with you by God's grace.

Depression is hard. I suffered for 5 years in depression. Since now, I feel unimportant and I cry a lot.  Embarrassed

Sorry to hear you've been struggling with it for so long. Have you tried anything to reduce the symptoms? Anti-depression medication, therapy, self help, psychadelics?

Hello,

Depression is not simply feeling sad all of the time, it's important to be aware of this point.

Depression is the lack of motivation to do anything which results in sadness; even something necessary such as showering or something you enjoy.

While their hearts are in the right place, anyone telling you to focus on something you enjoy to battle depression they are missing the point. How can you do anything if you can't get yourself out of bed?

While there may be a small percentage of individuals who can sucsesfully use anti-depression medication to treat genuine chemical imbalances in their brains, more and more evidence is coming out to day that for most people anti-depressives do not help.

The good news is that there's an increasing amount of information out there about solutions which really work and can help people turn their life around. Here are some suggestions on what to read/watch.

Finally - please, please, please consider going to see a therapist. A one to one, talk therapist. If you don't have any funds or can't afford it then check for any local charities who will likely be able to assist.

Hi, I just wanna ask how to overcome depression? I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?
Words will not help in this situation. You do not want absolutely nothing in this state, let alone listen to advice and a trivial phrases that do not help. Try to surround your friend by warmth and care. But only she can help herself.

Depression is a condition where the existence of a mental stress due to a problem, not a lot of people ending tragically due to depression,
so to avoid depression is to try to do things wisely and according to the portion, do not be too push ..
if we already feel depressed the thing is to get closer to God, and share with the people closest to find a solution..

Do something you really love to do, You and i both know there is some certain fulfillment that comes with doing what you really know how to do best .. Get involved with it .. 

Yeah... this is what I do, when I face such situations. My first choice would be to meet my friends and lighten my mood by partying with them. But their availability will be a concern. If they are not available, then I will have to keep myself engaged, doing something which I love. Usually, I listen to music or watch sports. Gardening is another activity which helps me to forget things which I don't want to remember.
