honestly, it is getting serious that most people spend over 18 to 19 hours these days on systems and mobile phones watching the market, trading on the move with their mobile. the addiction is getting out of hand. i think i am probably getting into this kind of life.
what could be the possible means of prevention. i need to have my normal life back.

No one do anything, without seeing profit in it.
For the people who spend most of the time online, do so that, they can earn extra money.
They Just look into the markets so that, they do not encounter losses.
If you ask me for any prevention? Then i can only suggest that, to trade only stable coins, where the price don't fluctuate a lot.
Hope this helps you.
Good luck.

If you learn the simple fact that market will continue to live without then you will have easier time relaxing. Now there are stuff like sell orders and stop loss and buy orders and what not all thanks to improved features of exchanges that makes sure you can do whatever you want for the future of your coins and that would basically mean you can be offline and not have to care about what happens to your money since you are all set with your orders. That way you can just leave it as it is and do whatever the hell you want and not care about what will happen to your coins and not check it.

Market is not gonna change suddenly just because you are watching it. That is why if you can get into that mindset, you will not even be an addict, it will suddenly slow down and stop.

I think that is the worst I have heard of their crypto addiction and I highly advise that you consult a specialist in psychology or whatever that is good in that area. But if you want to take my advise is don't put apps or bookmark website anything related to crypto in your smartphone and just check it in your pc. And also practice to have a distraction like a good show that you really like.

Recently I've heard there is a clinic for crypto addicted. I consider for real that I am addicted to crypto trading. This is the most important part of my life and sometimes I prefer to replace real life with trading. I wake up at nights to open or close position, set up alarms and so on. Am I addicted?

I think if you are a full time trader or a successful scalper, you can't avoid spending more time in trading. But you have to know your limit because anything excessive always produce bad consequences. Traders should remain in control of self and should stop or pause when the limit reached and there is no one can help you but only yourself. When they say trade only the amount you can afford to lose, then you can also do the same by trading only in your given limit.

I think this is the same situation of a drug addict, because if you want to change life of being a drug addict the better way to do of the drug users is to stop. Same goes with your situation problem, if you are a crypto addict and want to be free from it, well the best thing you can do is flee from crypto trading, isn't its very simple?

I myself have this addiction problem in monitoring the price on the exchange app in my mobile phone. The problem is getting stronger not because I can't stop trading but there is just the need to earn money here. You would be busier with trading with some tokens you trade are not found in one exchange, I stayed on binance and one token that is only listed on gate.io has made me spend more time. SO what I did is leave other tokens behind and stick only to BTC and then trade to on exchange alone.

Nobody is after your normal life, just that you are not the type for this business and not capable of be a trader, you must have been a lazy fellow, sorry to say this mate. Am a trader and still live my normal life to the fullness and surprise that you are complaining of been a trader. Remember that, no pain, no gain.
I think this is a very ordinary market and we should not be labeling this a kind of addiction that might send out a bad image or message. I have been in touch with people who made huge fortunes in crypto and they are enjoying normal life like anyone among us. They are not addicted at all. So if you think that you are addicted due to the crypto magnetism, you should make up your mindset and set limits.

hes talking about the addiction when u need to check it all the time, normal stock exchanges have this problem to but its not open 24/7 as crypto , so you can see how this can be a problem and make alot of people lose sleep becuse its always something going on in the crypto space that you can miss Smiley

Very often you should think about your future life and future results and maybe then you will start to spend more time with your family.
That can also be a reason for you to do better so you can achieve your goals for your family. Spending more time with cryptocurrency is not good, it can make more stress to you and you might miss the other important things. Day trader doesn’t need to spend a time like this, have a time management and you’ll be ok.

Then whenever you feel tired just stop, you need to have control for yourself and to be honest your addiction could make you very rich, so its not a bad addiction, but if you feel already too occupied by trading then set your time to trade and whenever its not the time to trade just go make another hobby do other activity

That is the only way that he can do to prevent to become a crypto addict and he needs to have a big effort to start a new habit. But I think if he becomes a crypto addict, he can have a new way to searches a new source of income for his life. And by doing that many times, he can get more and more profit from trading and the other way so, in the end, he can have a lot of money too. But he needs to take care of his health because become addicting in anything will make him forget about his life and if he loses the balance for his life, then it will bad for his health too.

Having your normal life back could equally means that you are ready to remain poor except if your presence or activities in crypto currency community is not making you any money at the end of the day. To me, the number of time I spent online with crypto currency activities Tuesday more money come into my wallet and that is my joy since the year 2016. But if your own presence or activities in crypto currency is not yielding anything for you then you need to really look for way out then.

I think isn't an addiction focusing to monitor the market because is important for the trading job to avoid losses,  people focus and get hard work to earn profits.Trading is professional job theres nothing different from other professionals job to go give quality time and focus how to become successful. So if you think your an addicting to give more attention in this kind of job find another alternative ways to forget for awhile.

Yea, a lot of people deal with this, it's day-trading. Everyone has FOMO fever and feels like every second they aren't doing something they are losing money. When in the end, the sheer volume of trading is what is limiting them from having an actual life or making any real money. Day-trading is never an efficient strategy, no matter how you look at it. People need to wake up and realize that.

The crypto market is a high-risk platform, where cryptocurrencies are constantly changing, their rates change direction several times a day. It is the situation of constant risk that is most likely the development of cryptocurrency dependence. I think that you need to relax more, spend time with people and then everything will be fine.

I know that feeling dude. It will not stop not until the bull market stops. I remember that after entering in a bear period, I become having no interest to check everything about crypto in a few months. So for me, I won't stop you if only you are profiting and not losing and having lots of loans everywhere. You  are acquiring many information by just becoming active but just don't forget your responsibilities.
As long as you are not forgetting your responsibilities and you are affording to materialized with this venue of profiting then you can continue working
around, just keep your mindsets being positive and not to allow too much stress to penetrate your emotions, from that point you'll be able to think wiser and to keep continue what is best for your benefits.

Stop, simply as that. Just like any addiction, if you have the will power then you can overcome your addiction. Worst case is that you seek medical help, but there's no need for it. Just quit !!!
There is more to it than just the will to stop. I'm sure a lot of these people badly want to stop, but there is nothing in their life that they can focus on than in this case trading/investing in crypto currencies.

People that manage to stop do it because they can focus on other things, but when you don't have anything to live for (I know it sounds serious), they will keep doing whatever it is just to stay busy.

An addiction always has an underlying cause that people from outside the circle of the addicted person tend to ignore, hence keep saying why don't you just stop, it's so easy when you really want it, and so forth.
