Many of the recommendations below may seem obvious, but most crypto-currency investors have violated at least one of them. If you store the Crypto currency on the exchange, establish a separate e-mail address for each trading account. The mail address used for the exchange must have two-factor authorization; account recovery tools should be disabled. Use a unique email user name that is difficult to guess. Use for passwords all available characters. For each account, use a unique password. On the exchange site, use the protected browser mode ("incognito") and clean the history / cookies. Do not use the autocomplete username and password in the browser. The exchange must use two-factor authorization. Keep the recovery keys in a safe place. Keep on the stock exchange only those funds that are needed for trading. Run antivirus software on a regular basis. Never click on sponsored links. Always enter the URL of the exchange directly into your browser's address bar.

Use a hardwer wallet, like ledger nano s, or trezor. Personaly I use ledger, I like it more and more as getting used to it. Also, always double check the urls of the websites, you open. There are copy websites, which look exactly as the original, the only difference is, that they are trying to steal your money.  Angry

Even the most reliable password will not save you from keyloggers. This is part of the program or equipment that reads all the keyboard manipulation. Keylogers are divided into software and hardware. The first to protect the antivirus. Another antivirus will help to recognize and block phishing links, after which hackers get access to passwords.

Use proven electronic wallets. Never say your passwords and so on. Also make your email more secure. I think that the most important thing is never to lose our vigilance.

I have seen many have been scammed online with phasing mail or links  so I will suggest that you never click any link from email unless you are sure it's genuine mail.

The safest method is to store altcoins in a hardware wallet. If you do not have one use offline wallets and beware of phishing sites. Bookmark sites myetherwallet etc and use that to go to that site instead of using google all the time to search for it, this is where phishing sites come up and you might think it the genuine site and will give all the private keys to them. Also install and use Metamask, this warns you of phishing sites. Backup your private keys on USB and also write them down as well. If you want to check the balance use ethplorer, neotracker etc. without accessing wallets.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

by writing on paper I think it's pretty good, though it sounds very impractical but effective enough to avoid losing and forgetting. and keep the account away from any links that present the prize. especially the unclear ones.

I think the best way is keep save the private key and never share to others. and we get new email from someone unknown its better to don't open.
We also can keep altcoin in many wallet. don't keep your altcoin just in 1 wallet.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

The best way to protect is not to have them, nobody can steal something you don't have  Grin. Otherwise you can use, in order of security, hardware wallet, cold wallet, paper wallet, hot wallet.

Buy Trezor or Ledger wallet, keep this wallet on safe place. Don't share your private key or phrase. don't take your altcoin on exchange wallet or you gonna lose all of the money

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

it's more than ourselves to keep our passwords safer, and remove your interest to click links that drive big rewards, as this will allow hackers hack into our wallets.

You should secure your private keys, do not expose it to any website, it may be the reason that your altcoins will be hacked. When accessing My Etherwallet, make sure to use a third party app called metamask, this is the way to ensure that your entry when accessing your wallet will be safe. And last option and the best, earn a money to buy for a hardware wallet.

Protonmail is the only thing in the internet that i trust and also i have a lot of internet filter thing in my computer and i am making sure that those filters are safe too. I always checked the URL before checking in some websites so that i can still handle the phishing thing if that happens in that way I can secured my altcoins.

Keep the private keys for the hardware purse in a safe place. Use for passwords all available characters. Create a separate e-mail address for each trading account. Never publicly discuss or disclose the value of your crypto-currency assets and probably not complex actions will save you from theft of your assets

I am the same opinion with friends all the friends do not act something that you do not understand when you are opening your wallet if there is a mistake on your wallet then ask the experienced people earlier.
There are many ways to protect our wallets, I think we should secure two layers, or use metamats to protect our wallet MEW, today many hackers are stalking our accounts, Maybe they will not forgive anyone, so I think we should be careful is above all.

never give or distribute your private key to all media. for me if you want to trade and join the exchange, then I have to be careful, I will not join the newly established stock, I prefer to join the famous exchanges, or I can use metamask.
