You have raised a serious concern especially to newbie who are unaware of how to find good coins that will grow and give much benefits in the days to come. As far as I have knowledge about cryptocurrency, there are some factors like project team, its technology, the purpose, reputation and trust in the market are taken into consideration. Above all you need to research yourself about the project you are going to invest in. You can consult with friends, crypto experts as well.

Here it is necessary to take into account many constituent variables. Team - the experience of people who are developing the project, as well as the activity of the team in social networks. The project - the relevance of the project, just ask yourself you would use the technology of this team. Here's the answer to you is whether to sell project assets.

This is very important as well. The technology, the usecase of any project helps drive and sustain its price. But the good time to sell a coin will always be when you see profit take the profit out, wait and buy back if you're looking to keep supporting the project. After every little rise in price comes fall and consolidation.

Hi all!
I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x.
Thank you for your comments Wink.

I always see from trading volume. as long as the coin has a large volume I will hold it, even though the price has gone up. whales will not be able to manipulate coins that have large volumes because if they fail they will ensure a big loss. and the right time to sell may be when trading volumes suddenly decline without cause.

for now if you receive tokens from bounty campaigns, I think you should not save too long because most of them will end up with severe dumps, but all depends on the project, for example if he has the potential to be able to enter many major exchages and their roadmap to run perfectly it's good to save it
I think that when you get tokens or coins in this way, it is best to take into account selling them when you have at least + 40% to 60%, after these numbers, it is very likely to fall indefinitely, and more if we are in the phase of the accumulation market. Now if the vision of the project is quite good, it would take a difficult decision, which would be to maintain, but with a high risk of seeing the price fall a lot.

The good time to sell your holdings if you the price of it start to increase because if you started to sell it in a low price, you will start to regret if the the coin starts to increase, that is why it is much better if you sell it in a high price for you not to have any regrets.

It clearly depends on the project and the current market situation. If the market is in its peak I am sure you can make a ransom of amount in ICO's, also the thing is you should hold your tokens for long-term as it will drop the value slowly.

A good time to sell coins is obviously in bullrun , all coins on that time rise up. Dont hold to much in your coin because when it going to die it hard to recover if you dont selm it right away. And for your last question , the right coins to be hold at the same time profitable are those coins with hype  or top coins in the market.

I don't know about other people, but for me, any token that I received from ICO Bounty, I will sell them immediately after they are listed on market. From my experience, the faster you sell your coin, the more money you will get. The price of any token will just immediately dumped after it first listed on market. Except you want to hold your coin for years, you better sell it immediately after the coin entering market.

For me it is quite simple, if the coin gives x10 from the ICO price and has constant development and support from investors, community and collaborates with other companies, I will leave such a coin for long term hold. If the project does -x10 and more of the price of ICO, I'm getting rid of these coins.

I think you need to pay attention to marketing and how the development team cares and develops its product. I pay attention that good projects promote the product through instagram.

You don’t need symptoms or facts or proves to recognize a good time to sell
You are aware of it naturally and also witness it well too

Consider your investment amount and profit as at that time; it helps to make a profitable decision

This situation will vary depending on the decisions you make individually. Of course, we want to ensure that every option we invest in provide very good returns, but there is a fact that the market does not act in accordance with our wishes. For this reason, it is necessary to determine the sales period yourself, so that you can adjust the profit margin that you want from that investment depending on your own decisions. Yaani, do you sell it with a 10% profit margin, you sell it with a profit margin of 1000%, it's up to you.

This should come from the prospects of the project and the real value of the coins. If the project has strategic partnerships and support from investors, it is worth keeping such coins until the bulls run. If the project failed to attract investors and is promoted only by the efforts of the team, it is necessary to get rid of such coins.

After you get coins from the Bounty, you should actively look for information about the coin. And usually, the coin information on the list will be informed in the telegram groove. If you have already been informed of a coin to be listed, you must be able to quickly sell coins. Because we from that year many coins have low prices because of Dump.

The decision to sell tokens immediately or not depends on the development of the project. Good projects usually have a good team and care about price developments on the exchange. The number of purchase orders on the exchange is the main indicator for determining which token or coin has a future or not.

Well, the basic principle there is that the coin, before selling it, should have increased in value since you bought it or for the amount you bought it for. That's only the basic idea, though. Choosing how much percentage you're willing to let it go is a different issue. Some are fine letting it go at half the value some wants a bigger number; however, for me, even 20% increase is enough, especially if you are talking about high mobility coins. I say that because the market is always changing, its landscape and movement is always up in the air, so having a little increase is always better than having no increase at all. But, that's me mate.

Be the reason someone smiles today
You should always have in your mind a stop loss selling strategy,  and also a profit threshold.

If your coin reached this threshold (ex: x3, x5), don't wait just to see what's happening next, be confident in your strategy and respect it.

I don't know when it's a good time to sell coins but I know now is the time of a downward trend  and it's definitely not a good time to sell coins! You should wait until the uptrend appears to sell
