This type of mistakes happened with me, while fixing my base bet like some cents, I mistakenly typed dollars or ten's of dollars which cause my balance to go half.
which disturb my mindset that day, so it is really important to stay conscious about everything we do after losing something,
staying conscious that we cannot deposit more than we can afford to lose, to recover the pennies because that pennies gone because of a small mistake.
Many of us have experienced experiences like yours where we mistyped the betting money, which caused us to experience a bigger loss than we expected. But it has all happened, and we can't do anything about it or even try to recover from that loss. That could make some gamblers think about activating the self-exclusion feature so they can't use more money. But some people type the wrong amount of money that they want to exclude from those who originally only wanted to write down half of the total amount of money they had, but instead, they wrote down all the money. But if the person has strong self-control, he doesn't need to activate the self-exclusion feature because he can control himself when gambling and can also manage the amount of money for gambling. He also won't lose much money because he always uses small bets whenever he gambles.
This is for sure that you definitely need to enable self-control during any of your payments.
Otherwise, there is a high probability of paying something incorrectly.  Or even send the payment somewhere completely different from where it should have been sent.  And I think that only people for whom the accounting profession is well suited are such scrupulous payers.  Such people will check and recheck everything ten times before sending a payment.  But among the general mass of players there are very few such people.  And therefore, I think that almost any player must have made a mistake several times in his life when he paid somewhere and even probably lost his money simply because of his inattention and sloppiness.
But this is forgivable; after all, he apparently is not at all fit to be an accountant.  Smiley

What you are writing about, of course, concerns only very small, one might say household payments, which can partly include the transfer of a relatively small amount in cryptocurrency to a deposit in a casino.  So that you can then lose it with pleasure and excitement Smiley Or win a little, continue playing and lose again. Smiley
When it comes to larger payments, you don’t have to be lazy, but rather connect HW to your computer or mobile phone and carefully look at where and how much you are transferring.
And if we are talking about Bitcoin, then we also have to figure out how much sat/vB to put in.  Lately, by the way, this has become an unexpected and stupid problem.

Just deposit your coins into your hardware wallet and you'll be too lazy to withdraw them. That's for real and that's been effective to me as I don't want to withdraw my coins in my HW whether just to sell, trade or even gamble.

Because that's going to give some bit of effort in withdrawing it and you have to connect the HW to your computer and do the necessary process. I think this is way better than staking to a wallet.

The latter is just the same as putting your money in the bank through time deposit.
Not sure if this will even applicable to addicted gamblers mate, self exclusions mostly comes from those who cannot manage their gambling activities meaning either they are hooked or already addicted and has nowhere to go but to exclude themselves .

so what you are sharing will only effective in short time because for sure as long as they knew there are funds  available in their hardware wallets? for sure they will use them to gamble in any ways.
that is sad reality here mate.

Yeah!  This is indeed a normal method to save a little and force yourself to make it a little more difficult for yourself to access your money by storing money in a separate cold wallet.
Then it becomes necessary to connect some devices, cold wallets to a computer or even a mobile phone, which has been possible for quite some time.  At the same time, when you think that you need to take out this cold wallet, connect it, mess around, waste extra time, you immediately become too lazy to do it.  And your money is saved.  In any case, you don’t start using them quickly, quickly for gambling in crypto casinos.
And this is a correct comparison, that it is to some extent like another trip to the bank, which also often takes up a lot of your time.
By the way, I think that many cryptocurrency lovers save their cryptocurrencies this way.
Yes, many of us do save through keeping it on our hardware wallets because we think that it is necessary and at the same time, we just simply feel lazy if there's a need to deposit it to a casino.

So any amount that goes to your HW then consider it as there forever and you're not going to touch it to any use until you have to and you desperately not lazy anymore.  Grin

There is no need for any trick in doing this. We only need to be savvy with our money.

what is the need for locking your coins in the gambling sites when you can lock them in your account well it might be that you trust the site that is why you want to stake them there. Though there are different ways one can use to exclude himself from gambling. Locking of funds might not even excluding you from gambling because the the $200 that you are staking (locking) is not the only fund in your hand. You might another funds and those ones can be used to gamble. Therefore the major way to exclude yourself from gambling is removing your mind from it. Though your's is also useful for some.
This, we may use some sort of tool or method to limit our gambling for a time, but unless we never got any more money then we will always have some of it that could be used to gamble, so those methods are bound to fail when thinking about the long term, and the only way to keep yourself away from gambling is to actually will yourself to do it, now I have no problem admitting that for those that enjoy gambling greatly this is a difficult step to take, but if they do not want to spend more money than what they can afford they have to do it.

That's not right way to express gambling, those people have lost millions because they were greedy to earn a lot of money with gambling and I don't believe that the ones who don't have self-control can earn any amount in gambling. A gambler with self control can earn money but a gambler with no self control can't earn money.
In fact the ones who prefer self-control don't gamble to earn money because their main focus is to have some entertainment. The ones who are already addicted to gambling won't get any benefit if they put thousands of self-exclusion rules. It's better to develop self-discipline by accepting the fact that earning a lot of money as a gambler is not for everyone and once a person understands it then that person would never need self-exclusion.
I will also agree with your opinion because self control does matter the people who are losing million dollars and their house they doesn't have any selfcontrol that's why they are losing. Moreover there is a says that Greed leads to sin and sin to death. I will say that one more big reason behind of this is greediness most of the people are facing loss because of only greediness. So I will again say that cell control does matter before any tools because using those tools also required self control.

You're absolutely right. Self-control is crucial in gambling and those who prioritize it for entertainment are less likely to face significant losses. Greed can indeed lead to destructive consequences and developing self-discipline is key to a healthier approach to gambling. While tools like self-exclusion can be helpful, their effectiveness ultimately relies on an individual's commitment to exercising self-control.
there are two type of gamblers that how it ends like this  the one learn gambling
without precautions so he keeps seeking for winning while the truth is losses is always on their way,
while the other one learn gambling the right manner meaning they knew that discipline is one of the
most important thing when in gambling so yes they are winning most of the time.

It is very difficult not accessing the sites, there are always re-branding, changes, etc. Even if they are not anonymous is quite difficult to get erased from all of them that is, if they offer that possibility at all. Anyway, the best thing one can do is to take control personally, not to get auto-banning because it will make you a better and more capable person to know you were able to quit by yourself.
Yes, but at least it depends on how we handle ourselves so that any offers offered by the casino does not tempt us, be it anonymous casinos or legal casinos. And those casinos will always offer very attractive promotions for gamblers.
Even though gamblers use the self-exclusion feature, they can end up being tempted by the offers they see so that they will still deposit money into their gambling account to gamble. They may no longer care about the self-exclusion feature they have activated.
This is the danger if we cannot control ourselves because the most important thing about avoiding excessive gambling is how we can restrain ourselves from all the temptations we encounter in gambling.

If you do find yourself on a situation on which you do already like to quit up gambling then actually this method might work because cutting the main source of your funding and trying out to lock it up into those kind of method will really be that definitely be that avoiding you to play on which it might really that contribute for you to quit up gambling for good. It would really be that impossible for someone not to be able to realize for themselves that they are overexerting out some actions that they shouldnt made in the first place. Self awareness level would really be different into each other on which there are ones
who would really be that mindful and act accordingly and there were those people who would really be that dont really care about consequences and stuffs.

This is why situation would really vary into each individual because not all would really be that mindful and aware on the things thats happening around and as long they are
doing on the thing that they do want then this is where what it counts.
If we can really overcome the desire not to deposit any more funds into our gambling account, we can really stop gambling. We will not try to deposit money again because we will remember that we are in a period of avoiding gambling for a while.
But sometimes, someone can be tempted to gamble again, especially after watching gambling advertisements often displayed on their smartphone. He could remember that he still had a small balance in his gambling account to play with.
From there, if someone does not have a good level of awareness, they will be tempted and will eventually return to their gambling account.
And indeed, the situation will be different, depending on each individual. If we really want to stay away from gambling for a while, we can look for other activities that can help us stay away from gambling.

This would be one way to exclude yourself from gambling with your current balance, but what about just depositing new money? I have been in a similar situation in the past where I tried to reduce my gambling size and it was hard to control myself. What has helped me a lot is to drastically reduce my bankroll and really force myself to only stick to that size I can afford to bet with. There were a couple of setbacks when I added new money to the account, but over time I got better at controlling myself. I think this is something many traders and gamblers will have to learn. Another feature many casinos added is the panic button, which let's the gambler log out instantly and even lock the account for 24 hours, 7 days or 1 month.
I like your wisdom here, people would think that an approach is that easy, but have they really thought of it and had an unbiased debate on their suggestions? The truth is that the approach could work for those who are not versatile in their thinking or those who are just busy and got themselves occupied somehow, not otherwise. Not for those who are versatile in their thinking who would immediately find numerous solutions to the money they entangled somewhere, and this will be all by themselves who even wanted to solve a problem. That's the power of addiction.

The longer the money is hooked there, the more they become curious about a solution, and the first thing that comes to their mind is to look for fresh money to invest in what will be earned for them instantly. This is where they rather continue what they want to overcome. Gambling and its addiction is beyond mere locking your money somewhere, new monies will come and some will go to the extent of borrowing money to pay back when the money you locked for 21 days matures. So what is the point? I can only implore those who want to fight gambling addiction to fight it within them or find external help. They needed the "willpower" for this, they needed it to say No and that No must be binding as decided. This is the only way they can set themselves free. And for this to happen, the two main psychological help needed here are both discipline and determination. Once you have them, they will definitely help your mind to fight.

This is just too assuming that you can't control yourself and that you'd eventually lose your coins through gambling. Not everyone is addicted to it. Just try not to gamble, you don't even need to stake your coins.

But it does make sense if you wanna a guarantee to make money, staking stablecoins will be a good option. But 21 days seem too much. I would stay away from that.

One can actually go through an entire process in which they can control themselves from becoming addicts and stop themselves from gambling when they don't want to gamble. It's way more simple unless the person doesn't have self-control, and if you don't have self-control, then even staking your coin will only help reduce the chance of you placing a bet, but that does not mean there are no other means for you to fund your betting account and place.

For the aspect of staking, there are still people who, even after shaking for the 30 Fair Period, get tempted by the kind of game that they predict, and they might be convinced that unstaking this amount will allow them to win a larger amount, which they can still use to replace their holdings. So what will stop them from getting their money off that stake?

Unless there are some penalties for the staking, if you try to unstake when the period has not yet been reached, you will be charged a certain percentage of your staked amount.

I think if the gambler deposits more money besides the money used to exclude themselves, it will allow them to continue gambling. That means he wasn't really serious about excluding himself because he still deposited the money.
Self-exclusion will be useful if someone really wants to limit themselves in gambling and will not use the money that is still in their account and will also not deposit any more money.
Apart from that, the gambler must also be able to control himself from approaching online casinos so that he does not have the urge to deposit his money again. With so many casinos that have launched and become trusted casinos, this requires seriousness from gamblers to be able to self-exclude truly.
Otherwise, it won't work well.
