You can trade erc20 tokens from exchanges like etherdelta, hitbtc etc for Ethereum and convert into bitcoin if you want.

I think the best way to go about this is to take those tokens to the exchange market. There it can easily used in different transactions; buying and selling. It kind of easier when one take them to the exchange market. Also the kind of wallet one uses also matters a lot in this case. To sell ERC20 tokens you need to buy eth that known as gas for all ERC20 tokens look for the market or markets where it's being traded. Sign up if you don't have account there get wallet where the token will be sent to unlock your wallet and send.
search your tokens on coinmarketcap and check the markets section there. So you will understand if your token is listed on exchanges or not. If no you can not sell them yet. If yes, transfer them to that exchange and sell there.
