I look at user reviews on the forums, I look at how the company answers questions. If they have a media face and are also supported by the community, that's good.

This site is a big help in spotting scam sites there will always be a review for a gambling site here because most of the site opens a thread here to get gamblers. Always search here first if it has lots of positive review then the site is safe or trustworthy if not then stay away from it.

A scam most-likely won't happen at long-standing casino, which already has good reputation. If you want to minimize risk - don't try freshly opened ones as there are decent amount of proven websites that offer options to satisfy anyone's needs.
That's true that the old ones won't allow something slip their reputations that has been built through the entire time that they have been operating.

Hardship and hard work made them to the top and gained their reputation along their way, it's not easy for a casino to gain reputation and it's a business. They won't allow something to ruin their reputation because it will ruin their business.

Newly created casino's are likely to scam so if there's someone who loves to try them out, beware and cautious.

AFAIK, there are some site that monitoring some site possibility of scamming.
Of course they are not 100% guarantee but at least they can help you to warn before you try to visit the site.

Never trust on something new especially on crypto world !
You can't really say that, i mean yes there are sites which closed in a short time just to scam people but if you see yolodice almost 2 years ago even they were a new site in the crypto world and today the site is matching stats with one of the oldest dice sites and also making it top

How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?

There are two kinds of scam gambling sites for me, the first one is the tricky one and the other one is the trying hard one, so what's the difference between those two? here it goes. The tricky one is that it is just the same gambling site to a legit one, you'll not notice that it is just a scam if you are just a naive person who is playing gambling on random gambling sites but if you are going to inspect the whole gambling site you'll notice that "Oh wait this is just a scam" while the other one is that you could easily notice that something was off already, misspelled words, the site is a complete trash, and the whole site is just trashy.

Don't forget the third type which is a well made scam. Creators of these sites put a lot of money and effort into the site, have campaigns, people hired to promote them, a professional team. They usually even start as a legit site but then modify something to start scamming people or disappear just like that. It's almost impossible to avoid them.
But don't worry, they are rare.

Exactly. The cases you've mentioned are so rare that they are not worth even mentioning. With that kind of logic you can end up trusting nobody, even with great reputation. It's enough to avoid sites with bad reviews or without any reviews at all. No need in poisoning your life with ungrounded suspicions.

I personally trust reviews and ratings on the Internet although I'm aware that some of them can be fake. I think it depends on how good you are in using Google in general.
They do say searching up on Google is pretty basic but doing it actually would really be tough yet choices would still always vary on your decisions in the end basing on your analysis and to that kind of logic that had been mentioned where you do already come to a point that even reputable or good ones you do still able having the suspicion you would really be just like on a man that trust no one.Sometimes it do good things but applying it strictly would still have negative effects just like missing out on good opportunities.

IMO if you are oversuspicious it only ruins your life because every time you are going to do business with someone there's always a thing or two in their behaviour that may look "suspicious ". Although I think that  this approach has to be applied to total strangers in real life and to new or unknown to anybody places in the Internet, it is not necessary to suspect someone with good reputation in potential scamming behaviour.

But what if this person with good reputation gets their account hacked? Or suddenly encountered problems. I still think that you can’t be too protective of yourself and you will need to be suspicious of everyone, including those with good reputations and even with your friends & family. sadly, there’s still the chance you’ll get betrayed even by those who you trust so I still think being oversuspicious is not so bad.

maybe we can spot a scam site by taking a look if the site is a new site and don't have any reputation because this site potential to be a scam site. but if then the site can prove that they will not become a scam then they will have many good reviews for their site. but not all new site can potential to be a scam site because I am sure that there will be many owner gambling sites that want to make a profit from the site and from their member.

The first thing to check out for is the website to see if it does what it said it will and then look at the profile of the site, if anything seems fishy than perhaps stay away from that until you see comments/reviews about it. Or never go on it
I am really interested in online things that help people to make good for themselves and for their society. Some amazing work that is available online to make things easier for you and life gets comfortable. But then we see this gambling thing that is all about losses and problems. But I am really unsure about those persons who indulged in this game. Are they humans, don’t they see the blast they are going to have?

Just go to google and search the website on it, like "name the gambling site" and add review/scam. Gambling site on cryptocurrency usually have a live chat to chat with other gamblers, if no one chat on the live chat it means no one play on that site and it's better to not gambling on that site.

To know the legitimacy of a betting website, first thing I would do is to search for it on bitcointalk. That's the simplest and effective way to spot a scam betting website. If the website is a new one then, I will stay away from it for sure.
Yes easy one to know about the reputation and review of any gambling website,it can be done when enter into their ANN thread and can read the trusted and untrusted review in the OP of the ANN thread can give the clear idea about that site. But in gambling website the scam is rarely happening and we need to be careful with new websites.
Yeah, much better if have on bitcointalk because many experts here in gambling and that is easy for them to determine which legit one and those shady gambling sites. And further knowledge on that site you must better search on google who is the real owner and their support team. If I were you OP just choose gambling site that proven and tested they have a reputable name for their site. Searching is the best way to avoid scammers.

checking out the website is one thing that we should do, while we can try to play the games on that site and, of course, we should trying to earn free coin from the site. and if the site doesn't have the faucet then we can skip and don't try to play in that site. there will be many another site that offering to the new gambler to earn free coins.

A little google search can save you from scam betting sites. If you come across a cryptocurrency betting website and you want to know about the reputation of that website, try finding its thread in bitcointalk forum. See if the thread is active and if the old members are rating it well. That is when you know the difference.

Absolutely right, if you are good in internet browsing and searching you can easily find and gather material about the doubtful betting sites.
To search about it in popular forums like this one is best practice, i usually do the same for finding anything related to cryptocurrencies.

the best solution is to find reviews of gambling sites that we want to use .. because it will be very important .. especially if we will gamble using large funds .. because if we choose the wrong place to gamble .. instead of pleasure and benefit we can .. but lost all the funds we have
