Users could always check the owner of the casino gambling thread on this forum, if the casino owner account on this forum is having a lot of negative trust given by reputable users, it would be better to take caution when depositing your money and playing on the site.
That's another one and to support the search, you can use search engines if there are more accusations with the owner and his/her business.
it helps also to learn what other persons are saying, accusations and all that, especially on this forum.it becomes apparent as time progresses, people will begin to share some of the abnormal or red flags they have seen

How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?

There are two kinds of scam gambling sites for me, the first one is the tricky one and the other one is the trying hard one, so what's the difference between those two? here it goes. The tricky one is that it is just the same gambling site to a legit one, you'll not notice that it is just a scam if you are just a naive person who is playing gambling on random gambling sites but if you are going to inspect the whole gambling site you'll notice that "Oh wait this is just a scam" while the other one is that you could easily notice that something was off already, misspelled words, the site is a complete trash, and the whole site is just trashy.

Don't forget the third type which is a well made scam. Creators of these sites put a lot of money and effort into the site, have campaigns, people hired to promote them, a professional team. They usually even start as a legit site but then modify something to start scamming people or disappear just like that. It's almost impossible to avoid them.
But don't worry, they are rare.

You know that these ICO reviews, some of them are actually being paid to make positive reviews regardless if it shows lack of legitimacy and if it shows lack of service, a lot of people are doing this type of reviews, though I'm not saying that all reviews are paid to show the positive side only okay? But my point right here is that these reviews are not the only thing that you should check, be sure to check it for yourself also.

Scam can be find when the jackpot price is not being to distribute to the winner. Even many famous gambling site also does not send the fund to the people and they came here made the thread on scam acussation section to report the problems mate.

Kindly ignore the reported gambling on this forum. If you do that alone you are safe with your fund. However, you will find the loose only if you involved in gambling all the time. Keep quite whenever you get mood off guys.

However there are a lot of trusted & old gambling site for bitcoin. Why we should try new one? Why we do this? Gambling is luck. So why we should try new site hoping to win from it.

That is because new sites offer free rolls with bigger prize pools, higher bonuses on deposits, greater faucets etc. Of course it's a lie in many cases and they don't allow you to withdraw anything, but if you never deposit more than you can afford to lose, why not to try, right?

However, there are some serious risks associated with trying unverified sites, so I wouldn't recommend that to newbies.

maybe we can spot a scam site by taking a look if the site is a new site and don't have any reputation because this site potential to be a scam site. but if then the site can prove that they will not become a scam then they will have many good reviews for their site. but not all new site can potential to be a scam site because I am sure that there will be many owner gambling sites that want to make a profit from the site and from their member.

The first thing to check out for is the website to see if it does what it said it will and then look at the profile of the site, if anything seems fishy than perhaps stay away from that until you see comments/reviews about it. Or never go on it

Some of the biggest giveaways to a scam site is:

1)  Poor and improper English
2)  New accounts making promises that are uncommon
3)  When the rep refers to you as "sir" in every other sentence
4)  Cheaply designed website
5)  When they buy social media followers, likes and the related
You are very much familiar about the characteristics of a fake website like you have faces these websites very much in your life or you also are running a fake website like one of these. I am saying this because all they points that you have made in your comment are all true because I also worked on a scam once and I found everything there that you mentioned.

No, guy, I am not running a scam website.  LOL

I just have a good grasp on common sense and being able to figure out what looks like a scam and what doesn't.

I've also been in this space since 2013 so I've seen all kinds of scam operations come and go.

Every person who is writing on this thread doesn’t have some sort of website which is scam because why the salesman would be at the place where all speak the truth. Just we are sharing our experiences because I am well sure that most of us would have come over with gambling some days in our lives so speaking about scam becomes easy.

There are reviews online as some may have been a victim before and be helpful enough to share their experience which is the only way I hope would be pretty easy to be able to know if a gambling site is a scam or not. Also, you may want to just stick with what others are using and those with far better reputation than trying to gamble a site that is unknown and not well used which I feel you will be better off.
Most of the reviews online are the reason why people keep falling victim to same scams on the same websites all over again. Those reviews are faked and sponsored by the scummy gambling sites. I have often seen the good websites are always underappreciated and scam sites like betcoin/vegascasino/bitcasino are highlighted as the best. Bitcointalk is the only place to seek for legit reviews. If that doesn't convince you, you can always start a new thread asking for suggestions.
I think it would be of no use if you would start checking about their existence because if they really would be a scam, they wouldn’t show you the reality and first of all, you wouldn’t get an history and if you are lucky enough to find some, they would have undoubtedly designed it in the way the wanted it to be they won’t reveal the secret.

A little google search can save you from scam betting sites. If you come across a cryptocurrency betting website and you want to know about the reputation of that website, try finding its thread in bitcointalk forum. See if the thread is active and if the old members are rating it well. That is when you know the difference.
But you must be careful, because many people who provide false information, because it could be the owner of the website scam (fraud) or cooperate with the website of the fraudsters.

Why would someone be careful in spotting scam gambling site? I will agree here with avikz, everything we need to do is a little search about casino reputation, ans the best place for that search is here in their official thread where anyone can check their team, talk with them and to check what others wrote about that casino.
Why would we bother in spotting scam casino sites, why to do that when we can gamble in reputable casinos, there are so many of them?
Any way there is a member here game-protect, anyone can ask him about scam gambling sites, seems like he knows a lot about it.
It is more like some people are generally just lazy to make use of the available resources for the digital age through the search engines, or they just simply see search engines as decorations. There is absolutely no way a platform would have been running, scammed others and there would be no traces of people's review online, but instead, we just still see some people falling for it.

You guys have said it all; researching before making use of any platform is the best way to go about being careful.

However there are a lot of trusted & old gambling site for bitcoin. Why we should try new one? Why we do this? Gambling is luck. So why we should try new site hoping to win from it.

When there is something new in this gambling industry, gamblers are always interested to try especially if the new site looks good/attractive. The reason to try should not because of hoping to get a new luck on a new site. No doubt that people thinks like that, as I thought the same as well long time ago. I thought if I move to a new place then I will have a better luck, but the fact said the opposite.
It is OK to try a new site but we should be careful, at least do not try with too much money until the new sites prove that they are reliable and trusted sites.

Always prefer the one which is existing form the long time and are trusted in the market. It is very easy for the new site to lure by showing or giving some additional onuses but forgetting that when you start putting your money they will not allow you to win and you will be losing all the money.

Researching about something that you are going too interested in or you would be playing that again. But don’t you think we are doing it at place. We have to rethink about our decision even from root level. Either we are putting our money in a thing, would this thing be legit? Would it be profitable for us? These scam or not things can be solved later once you finalize your field.
That which you have said is a personal thing and has nothing to do with scam. Normally, I do not expect someone who wants to gamble not to have been able to sit out the reason why he or she is set out to gamble anyway and knowing that having the wrong mentality would set them for a very long run of sadness if care is not taken.

Nevertheless, with respect to spotting a scam, it is all just about doing some research and checking for reviews of such platforms online and it could even be applicable to anything online and not just gambling.

The easiest way to avoid a scam is to simply play at reputable establishments. Usually new scam sites will offer extraordinary, or suspiciously high welcome bonuses, or new player offers that just don't make sense. For example, they might give you a 0.1 BTC free bet with no major wagering requirements, or will offer you particularly bonuses for retaining your funds within the casino, so the they can eventually pull an exit scam.

Stick with the big, well known players, sure they're not necessary the most lucrative, but your money will be safe, and they tend to have the best support and games available. When it comes to your money, playing it safe is often a smart move.

Reviews are very much helpful for the person to spot a website whether it is a scam or not. But w shouldn’t read only top 5 to 10 comment in this list because these reviews would be excellent as they can be from their company members and I am sure that they didn’t make any comment with which the people will get aware about the reality of their company.
