Agree there's too much low ICOs, but I think it'll be better eventually. Also at this point it's not difficult to identify a scam just by read about it only.
ICO can not be stop. You must accept the fact that as different as our faces are so also is our need. Many people will like to see better way of doing thingsin their respective endavour, and if means tokenizing such endavour on better technology, so be it!
Yes, it is a fact, ICO's popping up every day, each one with their own unique concept and idea, but are they in fact real, is the concept achievable or is it a dream that will never happen? Ofcourse, its become a way to make some money. People can get scammed or even be victims of fraud. Apparently, 90% of the ICO's today are scams and a means to make extra cash on the side.
Imo, a great example of a good ICO is trade.io, the new blockchain trading platform. It's currently doing very well, and it's sure to do much better due to it's very solid team and advisory team. The team is working 24hr p/day to help the community.

This can't be stopped. Still, many ico's project creates every month maybe.Every project has road map and goal to achieved in launching. With promotion and campaign there are starting to collect interest and member for support the projects. How it could be many project was failure after launched. There are could be some reason, as far i understand it will failure when there can't survive in the market competition and stock hold with low cap market. In the end it can states as speculations.

There are many ICOs nowadays, we can't say that all of them are scam, but some are legit. Since I started investing in ICO, I always have fear what will happen next, because too many risk in investing in ICO, but if you are lucky, you may earn 100% profits.

Anyone can make their own coin and scam the hell out of gullible investors. I don't really know what is the other way to stop the numerous popping nonsense coins, I guess we should really be more crucial in choosing coins we'll invest in.
This is a free market and selfregulatory. So everyone is free to make and advertise theyre project. It is the users job to give a chance to those who are legit and to sanction the others. I think that with time , if the ico market keeps it this way, users will stop invest in ico`s and the old one will start to dissapear. There is a big need for a cleaning as many tokens that dont belong in this market only makes the research harder.

The state or the government can only stop an ICO but not all countries are stopping ICOs. ICO numbers increased rapidly due to tolerance and they're thinking they'll make more money on ICOs and Crypto-Currencies. China is the most notable country that is regulating Crypto-Currencies, ICO, Crypto-Currency exchange etc.

There are still a few coins that will survive for a couple of years maybe. The failure is within the developers it self for not doing its job for pushing more companies and user so it can have a real ecosystem.
To control ICO, there should be a regulatory or a set of Norms/ protocol. It should be compulsory to follow all protocol by ICO.

Icos are killing themselves by the community allowing so much garbage, it's making people in general be wary of them. If that doesn't stop it then the various governments that are getting upset about them will step in and do something. Ico's days are numbered.
ICO can not to stop it because always any new idea and new concept from blockchain community, a few of them will succes and a few will fail. Now we as investor, should be extra carefull to invest in it. Learn the purpose of the project and to know their community and their personal team before make invest in ICO should be done.

I agree that most of the ICO doesn't has any selling point, it just a copycat coin that hope get lucky and some of the ICO even try to scammed other people, it is not a waste to advertise ICO if the developer really want develop and make the coin to become successful
