Sometimes some ICO's are ending up failed, but it's not an enough reason to stop ICO's production. And in my opinion, we can't do anything about it, even if we sign a petition about stopping ICO still it won't do anything. Maybe you've seen already a campaign here about Stoping ICO's , they are encouraging people to sign their petition and if you really want to STOP ICO's, sign their petition then we'll see! Wink

But for now let's just choose wisely so we won't fail also.

you will not be able to stop ICO because too many people are following it and investing in it, so it's very difficult to control it let alone stop it.

I do not think to do it because it is very difficult.

No one can stop ICO, if you think you are just wasting your time then don't invest, failure is part of life specially in ICO you don't always feel the success thats why you think first if the project will click to others.

ICO does not need to be stopped even considering that about 40 percent of the current ICO is showing signs of fraud. In the future, this process will become regulated, and investors will learn from their mistakes to differentiate risky ICOs from prospective ones. And the market will filter out useful projects and created based on their tokens from unnecessary and useless.

What is the need to stop ico. It has been serving as an added support to the growth and spreading of cryptocurrency throughout the world. Maybe some could have gained the investment and termed as a scam due to lack of growth and when it comes to reality most were already self regulated and works without flaws.

That is just an illusion markets have claimed to self regulate and that is just a way to say that there is no regulation in place, I would like to avoid regulation in crypto but if thins keep going in this direction with people investing millions of dollars in scams then regulation is going to happen whether we like it or not.

Indeed, and this is the reason why some people would like to think if there's an option to stop or to halt ICOs because we have already a thousand ICOs in the world and still there are more to come by next year. For me, regulating an ICO is more effective than stopping it.

Until today there's no way to stop an ICO but I think when every state and government has the power to stop anything except nature but stopping ICO is stopping also the future of economy and trade. Cryptocurrency is already embraced by people and technology enthusiasts so regulating ICO is the only thing can do than stopping it.

Still have coins for 30000$
I use Airdrops, Ref links and spreading risk. I try to learn from the old boys.
So many money going in to Crypto that if you spreading risk it is hard to fail.
Be a little critical when choosing ICO. But most importent BE PATIENT. People panic 5 min after sending payment.

Why to stop ICO? ICO is really great opportunity for investors and project owners. Yes there are scammers around but we can filter them buy self regulation.
We need to discuss about self regulation not stopping them

In my opinion there are many ICO will be good for development of crypto and fintech, so that mean many idea come from blockchain community to solve some problem. But to reduce bad quality project should be any regulation so the project will more in quality, and will be give many advantages to the investor and also regulation is important to protect investor from fraud.

ICOs are good for gathering funds because a lot of people even if it's small or big can contribute in the project.

Not only a few but lots of them.There are lots of scam ICO's out there which being created just for the sake on scamming its investors.If you do try to disseminate you would really able to tell the partition on legit and a completely fraud funding this is why it turns out to be a big challenge for investors or even on those legit project to find investors because the money have been divided and been wasted out because of those fraud. Stopping isnt possible unless if this thing is being regulated already then its possible.

But more Icos means more oppurtunies for us to become rich, of course you have to spot and avoid the scam project to make profit.
